Haiku Intense

I'm so happy to see they now have the intense version listed. I already wrote a review for the intense on the regular Haiku review page but I'll paste it here too. Just want to add that after wearing this more I really love how the Yuzu note is amped up in this version. I love citrus notes in perfume in general and always loved grapefruit, but I think I love Yuzu more. Citrusy, but not sharp at all. Almost a creamy citrus. It adds a delicately refreshing twist to an otherwise great fragrance. Now I'm going to have to seek out other fragrances with this note as I really think it takes a scent beyond the ordinary or expected. I also agree with Smellvin's review. This version is Haiku on steroids. Original Review: I've been using this fragrance (original version) since it first came out. I really liked that it is a very sedate lily of the valley scent as opposed to something like Jessica McClintock, which has that very herbal opening that later turns into a very sharp scent on me. I don't have that issue with Haiku. It's very soft and musky on me. My daughter just purchased Haiku Intense, which is not listed on this site yet, and I tried it. To my amateur nose it really doesn't smell that different. The big difference is in performance. I'm getting double the millage and projection than the original formula. It lasted the whole day on me with less sprays than the original formula. It also smells just the slightest bit fresher than the original formula but that could be because it's a new bottle. The next time around I think I'll just go with the Intense version so I can save myself the trouble of having to freshen up my perfume throughout the day. I'm so glad Avon has not discontinued this scent.

Sometimes fragrances add an "intense" line and I smell them and I wonder why? Frequently they smell so close to the original scent I have trouble justifying their existence. But not this one! This is Haiku cranked to 10, but in the best ways! A gorgeous lemony yuzu citrus punch! Do you like Haiku but wish you didn't have to reapply it every 2-3 hours? Get this version next time! I've been wearing Haiku for years and I'm glad I tried this version out. A great afternoon scent! She layers well with coconut and other "beachy" scents too! I also tried her with some more woody scents and she goes fantastic with them as well! It's great when a fragrance is good on its own, but even better when they play nicely with others. 🥰💖

my first bottle was very masculine. i think wearing it in the summer ruined it. But by my second bottle that i have just used it this winter and its like a creamsicle bar, just not that sweet. I haven't used the original Haiku, but i did have the original cream & deodorant. my mom said this reminded her of Christmas.

I have always loved the original Haiku but Haiku Intense is Haiku on steroids!! It is such a delightful, happy scent. The longevity and sillage are 10/10. If you are a fan of vibrant, citrusy, floral fragrances, this is a must buy for you. The price is very good as well!! Well done Avon.

I have to agree that this is nice on its own or to layer. Straightforward but interesting, it's a perfect balance of wood, citrus, and LOTV. This makes it a winner when you pair it with something else--I especially like a 1-2 spritzes on top of a super-sweet perfume to add a more "serious" tone.

I wore this for the day a few days ago and it really did last all day. I could still smell it on my clothes and hair by the time night fell. It is as the name states, Haiku but the intense version. Could easily be unisex. Smells very clean and deep. Its a good work perfume for me. I'm not mad at it. Edit some months later: it’s now in the bathroom as a guest spray. It’s too intense for me. I’ll stick with my favorite of the collection, Haiku Reflection. It’s one of my signature scents and it’s light and beautiful.
