Haiku Kyoto Flower Intense

Very versatile fragrance. I'm just gonna give a quick backstory on my history with this fragrance. On my first day of college, I met this girl. I was completely enamored by her upon our first meeting. We got very close very quickly, and I told her about my love for fragrance while we were hanging out in her dorm. She whips this bottle out, sprays it, and told me that it was her favorite. I'm no longer in contact with her anymore since we ended things on extremely rough terms, but I gotta say, I haven't smelt this fragrance in over half a year, and I still remember how it smells. It's not exactly a great performer, (average longevity, sillage, and projection), but its certainly a memorable fragrance. I could also just be biased though. As a man, I quite like this scent profile on a woman as compared to the basic dusty vanillas and cloying white florals out there. It's clean, versatile, and pleasant. Overall rating: 8.7/10. Great scent, just has alright performance. Bottle also looks really cool, and it's an affordable fragrance. Would recommend.

This, this is what I always wanted the OG Kyoto Flowers and BBW's Japanese Cherry Blossom to smell like! I always felt the original was too light and BBW's was too sweet. Kyoto Flowers Intense is exactly what I had hoped for! A light greenish pink floral over the gentlest cypress and white musk. The projection is there without it being overwhelming or cloying. A great warm afternoon into evening scent. Just be careful layering her with Sacred Intense, it really brings out Sacred's pine-y note. She layers great with Haiku OG and Intense though, as well as other florals and the woody aldehyde Queen, Topaze, to become a lovely nighttime scent. 🥰 So, if you like Kyoto Flowers and just wished it were a bit "more", try this one out. I'm so glad I did! Hubby loves this one too. That always means it's a keeper. 😍💖

Yes! It smells like Chloe eau de Parfum! It smells just like the dry town of it, gentle, mature and it smells very expensive. Even though there is no rose note, but it smells a little smokey and woody rose with good trabsition to base note. Great buy!

Haiku Kyoto Flower Intense smells so much better to me than the original. I don’t love cotton or laundry scents, but this is a really lovely blend of notes and I really enjoy the peony notes. I tested one spray on my arm and while it smelled good, it was really strong, almost to the point of nausea or headache. However, despite that beginning, the scent did not last much beyond two hours in me. I could smell it if I sniffed closely, but it was so very light. I will need to experiment with spraying this more lavishly but away from my face and perhaps also on clothes to see if it helps with longevity. I got this on clearance and don’t regret buying it, but it will take some playing to have it work comfortably for me. I look forward to layering it with Haiku Intense original as another reviewer suggested.

As a vintage collector and estate sale hound, I’m always happy when people pass up that old “expired” perfume. IYKYK. This smells very nice, surprisingly like a lighter version of Tea Rose but without rose listed. The peony is very juicy, rosy and has an almost berry edge to it. It’s got the typical Avon dna front and center and lovers of Avon will recognize this immediately. I have Haiku Intense and this is similar but with added florals. They’re very nice layered together. This is an excellent inexpensive freshie that doesn’t smell cheap or expired at all. I think it would work well in a work or similar setting where a louder perfume might offend. A great find!

kinda smells like you just stepped out of a peaceful garden. It’s light, airy, and a bit powdery, not loud at all. Longevity is okay-ish, nothing crazy, but it’s perfect if you like calm, effortless scents that don’t try too hard.

Pros: The Bottle. It's cute and would look nice in a display though it is lightweight and feels "cheap". I could swear the bottle I had as a teen was heavier and felt more luxe. Cons: Irritated my skin and gave me a rash, which no perfume has ever done. The fragrance is synthetic and reminds me of something one could get at a dollar store. There's nothing that would tell you this is a perfume/EDP other than the name. If someone sprayed this on a card, you would think you were smelling either cheap or expired fragrance. As for the scent, it does not match the scent notes. I do like all the notes listed but this perfume does not give "Violet leaf, white peony and soft cotton musk". It is not fresh green floral as per the current fragrance category the website has listed it under. I'm not sure if it was stored improperly or what caused this but it only gives highly synthetic floral, wood, and musk. A Violet leaf, white peony and soft cotton musk perfume would have been nice. This is not that. This is the perfume you pick up at an estate sale and wonder how long it's been expired.

i prefer this scent over the original kyoto flowers.........this one is def full bodied & rich..........i put it in the fall / winter category & IMO a night time scent :) its def has a warm cozy vibe - its what i call a warm scent :) i would say its a dark rich wicked winter scent..........very alluring :) the peony is the highlight here for sure - so if u are not a peony lover maybe stear clear lol........its a dark rich earthy peony scent - and for some reason i get dark berries too but that could just be my nose cuz thats not listed.....i would say if u like guerlains la petite robe noire line then i think u should like this :) or if u love peony & looking for something dark & bold this is a good pick :)
