Her Story has a plot and it amazed me, totally not expected from a new Avon release. Her story opens with great similarities to CK Reveal; I get peppery and salty notes with some tanginess from the bergamot as well as a soft, powdery iris. Probably the vetiver in the base is contributing to the similarity as well. At this stage, I was wondering why many reviewers were comparing it to LVEB, but around a couple of hours + later, there was a plot twist in Her Story, and it turned very sweet indeed. With the iris, patchouly and probably sweet benzoin, I can see where people find the likeness to LVEB. To me, they are still different, but Her Story truly becomes very sweet, which is a major shift from the beginning, the edgy androgynous young woman has turned into a sweet more friendly person. Her story has better longevity and projection than most Avon products, and a shifting story. Good job 👍 Avon.

This is SUCH a pleasant surprise from Avon! I got the mini version (10ml) because I wasn’t too sure about it based on how it smelled on paper, and I was completely blown away by how expensive it smells! I’ve tried or owned many Avon fragrances, and this one has absolutely none of that typical Avon DNA (which, in my opinion, makes most of their perfumes smell painfully cheap and generic). I’m typically not a fan of patchouli, but this one is just so pleasant to me, I actually don’t mind it at all. Definitely getting the big bottle with my next order!

You will know at once this perfume reminds you of another scent... and then I remembered it smells just like Obsession by Calvin Klein, but on a moderate scale. What I like about it is that it does not have these ubiquitous vanilla cloying sweet scent that I am not fond of.

It reminds me LA VIE EST BELLE-Lancome soooo much. I think they are same. Its ingredients so different from la vie est belle, but very similar, I dont understand how it can. Maybe it cannot be my signature perfume but I love this fragrance...
