Imari Corset

When I first spritzed it, there was at first a plume of alcoholic scent, possibly because I overdid it a bit, but within 15 minutes settled into a nice, comfortable liquor-ish scent. It almost reminded me of a brandy-rich cocktail. It slowly slides more and more into raspberry, though it smells more like raspberry juice to me. Surprisingly non-sweet, I expected it to be almost syrupy, but nope, it was far lighter than I expected. A few hours later I got used to it, but when I sniffed my wrist I could definitely smell the cocoa, though it was pretty mild. Never caught that rose. It was never very intense, I'd have to spritz a whole lot of it to be felt farther than a meter from me, so it's very inoffensive. After about three hours, give or take, I could only smell it when I sniffed my wrist, possibly because my nose had adapted to it. Just shy of eight hours and it was completely gone. If it lasted longer it would be perfect, but otherwise it's wonderful!

A compliment magnet! Just as @Krishna Rao says, it's very similar to Armaf La Rosa, but I think it's not exactly a dupe. On my skin I get liquor and cacao, then rose and lastly raspberry. I loooove it! It's like a sweeter version of Imari Fantasy with a flirty choco touch. I like it so much! Another nice fragrance. :)

From the very first wear, Imari Corset had me completely hooked. It's a soft, sweet, ultra-feminine fragrance that feels effortlessly pretty without becoming cloying. On my skin, it has a warm, creamy sweetness with a romantic, slightly flirtatious character that makes it incredibly easy to reach for.

A tasty, gourmand and dark fragrance. As opposed to many fragrances, you can easily follow the change of the notes over time. Fruity opening gets warmer with liquour and red flowers. Eventually, it becomes creamy and dark. Considering the price, it is a gem.

I don't find it a dupe of La Nuit Tresor.On my skin it is a boozy raspberry liqueur, dark and seductive, a really amazing cheapie. Performance is not that good but for the price ... 5 hours longevity and 2 h sillage.

To me the strongest notes of raspberry and praline in Imari Corset are very reminiscent to chocolate covered strawberries. These long scent notes accompanied by creamy liquor [smells like Baileys to me :)] and powdered florals - I get the peony and rose, maybe magnolia? I don't pick up on any major changes between the heart and base of the perfume, except some musk as the fragrance begins to dry down into a creamy mix of cocoa butter & sandalwood. The nutty fruit & liquor blend is stronger in comparison to the wooody musk blend, so the fragrance seems quite linear to me. The only thing close to a downside for me is the longevity; it wears about 5/6 hours on me, which is average for Avon and is still fairly decent for a low-end edt, but I still found it a teensy bit disappointing after my extremely positive reactions to the Far Away flankers. It hasn't put me off recommending Imari Corset since the price is so good, but is does lessen my enjoyment of it a teensy bit. I've been searching for a replacement for a discontinued Victoria's Secret perfume [Scandalous] that I used to enjoy, and Imari Corset sounded similar enough to possibly satisfy my longing, so as it's very affordable I decided to pick up a bottle and see what I think... and it turns out that I definitely think that Imari Corset does live up to the inspiration of Scandalous [increasing pulse and heart rate as a date-night heats up]. Scandalous was one of my favourite cold-weather perfumes as its warming & cozy, and is a cuddly 'come closer' scent. Imari Corset has the same feel and is fast becoming a new favourite fragrance for me now that it's getting cooler and darker earlier.

I was put off by some of the reviews, but the notes resonated with me, and I owned the Imari Corset scented lotion, which I really liked. In the middle of me debating whether to buy it, it came up in the brochure for 6 euros, so I bit the bullet. It does open with a strong alcoholic burst, but it settles down very quickly. The raspberry is there, but it doesn't smell juicy to me, it's actually rather powdery and tart. The cocoa is fairly obvious, even more than in Boss The Scent For Her, which I got for the cocoa and was disappointed when it was barely there. There is zero rose in this however. The combo of lotion + perfume makes the fragrance last for hours and hours, but the perfume itself settles into a skin scent in about 3 or 4. Don't expect a juicy fruity gourmand fragrance if you wanna get this. It smells dark and boozy and a little sexy, in an understated way. If you can get the perfume and lotion for a combo, I highly recommend getting both, it really pays off to wear them together. I also really like the lotion on its own.

I got a mini version of this and I am really hyped! Very creamy and sweet, but not too pastry-like and cloying, very seductive and intriguing, a bit dark but not too sharp, very feminine and well-rounded. Great for colder weather and evening wear, not an office perfume. I can totally imagine myself wearing that with some of my long black velvet dresses (my style is a mix of goth, extreme metal, dark fantasy, etc). I wish it lasted longer but it's still a great find for the price. When used together with the perfumed body lotions, most Avon perfumes work better and last longer, besides the lotions are quite nice on their own, so I'd recommend getting them together as a set, if possible. Definitely on my list for next purchases from Avon.

This is an absolute duplicate of Lancōme's La Nuit Tresor (which is like a deeper, darker La Vie est Belle), but Avon's version is more dilute - that's no bad thing, as trust me, La Nuit Tresor packs a very powerful punch! I really like this (but still have some La Nuit Tresor too!). Rich, dark, with cocoa, liqueur, honey and dark red fruits that dry down into a warm, comforting scent. Quite addictive! I've bought it on offer with two toiletry items - excellent value! Glad I took the plunge and bought it. *Additional note: after about 4 hours, it settles down as candy floss on the skin.

It's very tasty scent! Firstly, I can smell the oriental spices, although they are not listed here.Liqueur notes are also very perceptible. It really reminds me of La Nuit Tresor. But Imari Corset has its own benefits. It's a sweet, but a little bit bitter fragrance, bitter due to cacao. Longevity and sillage is moderate, but it's a pleasure to reapply this scent. It smells amazingly exactly at the beginning - tender, tasty and feminine. Good job of Avon. I like the entire line of Imari fragrances, including this cacao perfectly balanced Corset.

i love the bottle design, it’s so cute that was honestly part of the reason i bought it... but i’m glad i did because it’s actually an attractive scent. you can feel the rose and it has these sensual notes. i wouldn’t say it’s that “dark” but i still think it’s beautiful. it’s definitely feminine and versatile even though i think it works for any time i can imagine wearing it in the evening with a cute outfit the longevity isn’t bad either, it doesn’t last forever but you can still kinda notice it even the next day

If you expecting a dark, sweet fragrance, you will be very dissapointed. Cacao? Liquor? Like where? Okay, we are talking about Avon, the price is about 5-7euro, but pleeeaaase if the main accords of fragrance are cacao/like or something like that, make an frag more sweet. This is absolutely not sweet, no cacao, no liquor, nothing sweet at all. I can smell only fresh /spicy-like raspberry, something what i cannot identify and then its turned to generic, plasticky base. Its not that bad but you will be not surprised.

A prominent fragrance in my autumnal rotation, this scent is moody, deep, and mysterious. If this scent has a month, it's October. Its bold and sensual floral notes are intriguing, ideal for evoking a captivating aura on an autumn evening. The addition of that boozy note enhances the floral composition, creating a unique concoction.

Imari Corset is a lovely floral, berry, gourmand scent, in that order. The longevity is weak but at that price, I don't mind reapplying it when needed. It would make a nice date perfume but I can see myself wearing it to work on a cold day too since it doesn't project much/at all.

A sweet, fruity opening with an underlying boozy note. Extremely ethereal—while it lingers longer on fabric, the projection is minimal. It fades into a feminine, boudoir-like, sweet, slightly powdery, and calm base.

At the moment to me this smells just like patchouli and fruit. There is no kick or boozyness you would get from rum and no bitter powdery sweetness of cacao. In the dry down the leather and sandalwood become prominent and it smells a bit nicer. Hope it matures with time, will try it again in fall. As now it smells outdated to me, not bad but I cannot get over the patchouli likeness as I was expecting something completely different from the notes listed. Try before buying! Update (after about 3 months): the opening still smells like patchouli and fruit but not for as long as before, in about 5min it starts to smell more like coco which I like. But another downside I wanted to mention is that the packaging seems to have changed as mine if different from the picture in Fragrantica - it looks and feels quite cheep, something that would cost under 10 or even 5 Eur as the cap is a plastic where you can see parts where the molding was cut off and the label is simple. I have other Avon fragrances and I have to say they design and used materials are better. I think the fragrance deserves a more beautiful and better designed bottle. I might give the fragrance another try in a few months as I like that it is changing and smells more like coco which is what I wanted. I hope the rum note will show up as well.

Honestly for the price this perfume is a steal, the quality is way better than what you'd expext. The sillage is really strong and it lasts for a couple of hours. It is mostly a berry scent with florals that had some melted butter slapped on it. The cocoa is also there somewhere but it's not that noticeable for me. There's definitely a gourmandy feel to this but you get the tiniest traces of leather after a few hours. I personally don't hate the smell of this fragrance but it's just so loud and cloying that I can't use it, I gave it to my grandma who loves scents like this. I wish there was more leather in this as well but it already has a potential of a night time or date night scent if you don't mind super sweet scents.

Si buscas un dupe de La Niut Tresor por su oscura dulzura, no es la opción. Le falta precisamente eso, la dulzura del berries y vainilla oscura que tiene durante toda la vida de la aplicación. Pero si te gusta en esencia La Nuit, pero no disfrutas demasiado de las notas dulces, este es para ti, al igual que Luna de Natura (es más un dupe de este último). Resalta la grosella, la frambuesa es su versión ácida, el cacao, la nota alicorada, se asoma una suave rosa detrás. Solo después de una hora resalta levemente algo dulce, muy agradable, pero muy lejos de la dulzura de La Nuit. Espero te sirva mi experiencia.

To me this is Dazzle by Paris Hilton if you added a ton of Rose and something like Pink Pepper to it... it's spicy but more in the burns-your-nose kind of way which is what I get with pepper. I know Pink Pepper isn't listed but I'm getting it for some reason. I hate this kind of spice. I'm genuinely struggling to identify the fruits individually in this, it's just an overload of random fermented fruits or spiced fruits or something. I LOVED this when I smelled it in the brochure so I'm really not sure how this happened. I still like the scent somewhat but I don't like the spiciness of it, it ruins the fruits for me. Liquor or boozy notes usually go really well with a fruit - especially Raspberry - but I think the problem for me is that it's multiple fruits and the blackcurrant actually weighs this concoction down. Strip away the spiciness, I'd like it. Strip away the majority of the Rose alongside it and I'd actually love this. I love Rose but this is not the kind of blend where I'd like my Rose to be personally.

Oh Lord... I liked it... Until I didn’t. My initial impressions were good, I liked the cocoa-boozy part. Maybe I oversprayed it, because the fruity part quickly became nauseating. The body balm from that line smells more like cocoa and less like black currant, and I liked it more. But after that experience I grew an aversion to it. It may not be a bad scent overall, but definitely doesn’t work for me.

It’s a sweet boozy scent, nothing really special. It smells a bit harsh and too mature for me. As a woman in her 20’s this one feels too old fashioned. I can’t really pick up the notes but the booziness in this perfume is very prominent, which isn’t my taste. It lasts for about 4-5 hours. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a pass for me, already gave it away.

You can really smell the liquor and raspberry in this perfume, just like when you're in a garden of flowers drinking but you dropped the glass of liquor on your dress... because of the rose, it is an old lady's smell in my opinion. i can barely sense the coca, but it's definitely there

This is the second Avon I've bought & I'm honestly disappointed. Great price, but I don't like how this sits on my skin, neither I like the plastic cap... I will try to give it a try when it's cold & during night time... Its longevity is great tho.

If you're expecting something rich and decadent, don't bother. I blind bought it based on notes, as this is my favourite note combination EVER, and unfortunately, in this particular case, you get what you pay for. It starts off with a blast of alcohol and this odd, cheap-smelling concoction of nondescript sweetness, often found in inexpensive perfumes. This soon settles into a sweetness that's vaguely reminiscent of a raspberry - the plasticky artificial kind, like in bubblegum (though the scent itself isn't bubblegummy). If you were after a lush, ripe, rich raspberry soaked in good liquor, this isn't it. There is a sort of a boozy note in there, I think, and a rose that can only be described as 'just a rose'. The drydown is pretty nice though. I can definitely smell a dusty cocoa note that feels a little flat, enveloped in that odd vague sweetness. If you were hoping for a cheaper alternative of Panah's Pink Champagne Truffle/Marc de Champagne, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. This is just weak, watery, sweet and unremarkable. It definitely has that Avon DNA that's present in most of their perfumes. Longevity isn't great. It lacks depth. It lacks the richness you would hope for just by looking at the notes. I will probably wear it though, as it's not exactly a Bad scent. Just nothing to write home about.

I've been wearing this fragrance, body cream and deodorant each day for 3 days. Its definitely not like the others in the Imari line. The opening spray is sort of fizzy, I can't smell any raspberry to start with. I can almost smell lemon sherbet. After about an hour, I can smell a sweet raspberry, and dark chocolate. The "fizzy" note is still there. The drydown is a well blended dusty chocolate with a raspberry/rosy note. Its not a rich, dark fragrance with any great depth, but its different. I keep smelling my clothes as it does leave a lovely drydown. From morning to evening it is a skin scent. I've used half a bottle already and I've only had it 5 days. I've been spraying on top of the body cream, without which I reckon it would be very light just on bare skin. Considering the amount I've doused myself in, no one has complained!. Its a strange fragrance, but one I have reached for each day. I will probably buy it again as its so inexpensive.

I only wish this was more concentrated and long lasting. I love it! It is alcoholic, but in a nice way. I can feel the rose and the raspberry and cocoa too. But if Avon start to make their scents more concentrated and luxurious it will be very nice. I use TTA Celebration and it gives me a very premium feeling, ultra long lasting and sophisticated. It will be nice if most of their perfumes or at least the successfull ones to get good bottles too. This one smells good, but the bottle is super cheap and has average longevity. I musn't compain, I bought it for 2.5 euro. But I could pay more if the quality was better.

Very happy with my purchase! I didn't pay attention to this line before and I'm glad I tried it. The notes here are my all time favorite in a perfume. starts off like BBW into the night berries with booze then it transitions to lime candy- wet rose- jasmine combo then finally settles down to a dusty(fig like) sweet cocoa powder. sometimes I smell the rose but it's not strong. It reminds me of Ralph Lauren HOT a little bit like they are cousins. It's different for everyone, I'm glad this is how I smell it.

Tan frustrada! Me encantaría sentir todo lo que otras personas que reseñaron sienten con este perfume. En mi se siente intenso denso vintage, una fragancia afrutada de la época de mi abuela. No siento frambuesa, licor ni mucho menos cacao. Me frustra ya que no sólo me fije en las reseñas de fragantica sino que en YouTube muchos reseñadores la señalan como una joya gourmand. Voy a guardar este frasco quizá más adelante lo perdí a distinto

For sure a fragrance reminiscent of La Nuit Tresor, it's in that range of sultry boozy rose and cocoa. Dark, strong and seductive but the performance is not very great. I'm imagining an updated Angel by Mugler without the fruitchouli headache would smell similar to this. The leather is close to more of an oud note and it doesn't bother anyone.

Super sweet jammy rose with raspberry liqueur and cocoa oil. Warm and seductive. A big yes!💕 Not a classic banal avon scent. Comparing to its price sillage and longevity is good. If you like black opium and la nuit tresor kind of sweet night out scents you should definitely give a chance to this cheapie!🤭
