Imari Fantasy

Smells like salty, caramelized hazelnut with a beautiful contrast of jasmine and cashmere. Very nutty. It's niiiiiice! I second the suggestion of blind buying Imari Fantasy. It's an excellent addition to a gourmand wardrobe, very addictive. I especially like the salted caramel note, it's fantastic! It's a must-have if you are into oriental gourmands. Imari line is amazing overall. My favorite has always been Elixir, but this one is at the same level. Fantasy is more wearable during the day. It's less fruity and more of a spicy-floral, very Arab-like. This fragrance and Far Away Rebel are being very popular gourmands now where I live because they were added to the catalog recently. I got both of them. They're very different, but If I had to choose only one, I'd go for Imari Fantasy. I'm glad I bought 2 bottles because I know I'll empty them fast. I'll rebuy it when that happens, of course! :)

I recently added this one to my collection and oh my god I love this! The smell is so so beautiful and on me this projects. On my skin this is Angel but with more sweetness, nuttiness and a little more playful? I literally snatched up a bottle for £4.59 for 50ml and it was worth every penny. It lasts for over 6 hours from one spray on me, I can say that for that money I am just about thrilled with this. Gorgeous gorgeous scent.

This is a winner from Avon for me - Gourmand lovers, please do blind buy it. I got it for £6 on offer. Caramel, vanilla and orange are what I get initially, praline comes through with hazelnut later. Its longevity is good, lasting around 8 hours on me. It's certainly sweet but it has some depth, probably from the patchouli (which I can't really detect). Sillage is good too. I'll buy it again.

One of the best perfumes from Avon. Just got it due to very good reviews. it was a blinbuy that i do not regret. it smells expensive. i just cannot put my finger on it... I think it has something in common with Amarige from Givenchy.

This smells like fruity caramel booze. It's nice - if a little generic - it's sweet, it's warm and almost 'balmy'. For these reasons it conjures images of Christmas, and I feel it is perfect for the winter in general (although it would equally suit Autumn, and may well work for a cool British summer). I am not sure why others are comparing this to La Vie est belle, because other than it being 'sweet' I smell nothing in common (I own both) however, I also own another frag that I find this perfume almost identical to,and that is Katy Perry's Killer Queen; so guys, if you like that one you will likely appreciate this fume. It is indeed a decent perfume (especially for the price) but I can't see myself buying a second bottle - firstly because my husband is not a fan, and secondly, because while I was wearing this my 16 year old son came in and asked why he could smell cider! 🤣 Lasting power is around 3-4 hours and projection is good.

I smelled this on the Avon brochure and fell in love! I just had to get it, even though I already own some slightly similar scents. After receiving my bottle I tried it on instantly. I have to say I was slightly disappointed. Now, the scent is lovely, sweet, soft, feminine, warm.. But my dry skin seems to drink this perfume instantly. I have to spray soo much of this on to get any "oomph". Sillage is very soft so it's definitely a skin scent, with my skin type at least. Anyway, I have been enjoying using this perfume this winter and Christmas. I think it suits the season nicely! My husband loves this on me, although he can only smell it in close contact. Such a pretty scent but with this sillage I doubt I will buy it again. But I will gladly use the rest of the bottle for cozy days at home or running some daytime errands!

very nice dupe for Flowerbomb with added nuttiness like in Just Cavalli Gold. doesn't last long and no sillage at all but for the price u cant expect Flowerbomb quality. the bottle looks cheap, especially since mine has an opaque orange plastic topper instead of the see-through like in this pic. very ugly. the dry down is aweful though. like a cheap aftershave. don't weaŕ it to a (longer) date. EDIT: interestingly, this smells different every day i apply...one day sickly sweet vanilla with caramell and nutts and no patchouli, similar to Juicy Gold Couture and the next day it behaves like a rather fresh patchouli bomb very similat to flowerbomb, with no caramell or nutts. strange.😲

I like this a lot. Mostly because it smells like JPG Scandal. Like it could definitely be a dupe for it. The only problem is that I already have like 5 unopened boxes of La Rive Eternal Kiss which smell exactly like Scandal as well🤣 so here's another Scandal dupe for my collection. It does have something else mixed in though, I think I smell a little bit of that Killer Queen/Flowerbomb type DNA in the dry down but the opening was all Scandal. Also reminds me of Luna from Nina Ricci. I like it, it's a nice hybrid. Fairly strong with good sillage and moderate longevity.

This is interesting, and good value for a cheapie (<£10 for 50 ml). Probably wouldn't repurchase, but I'll use it up - possibly layering with other fragrances. As other commenters have mentioned, it's noticeably 'nutty'. The chestnut and caramel are really prominent - it's a boozy, nutty gourmand scent, and it reminds me of chestnut vermicelli a lot. Chestnut vermicelli drowned in some boozy syrup! Silage and longevity are soft-to-moderate, and overall it's more feminine than not, but I could see a man pulling this off as well.

This seems to be the same fragrance as IMARI BOLD, which was released in Australia during 2017. The notes printed on the box include jasmine sambac, caramelized hazelnut and cashmere woods, which agree with the notes above. Another Avon perfume with two names is Little Black Dress, aka Chic in Black.

Surprised by this beaut, really not expensive at all! Delish gourmand that lasts really really long on meee. Sad that I don't have a bottle of my own

A sweet patchouli gourmand like there are thousands on the market. Juicy pear, vanilla, caramelized patch. A vague hint of florals and nuttiness. It's somewhere between LVEB and Flowerbomb, but not a dupe for either of them. The patchouli is similar to the one in Flowerbomb, but the fruitiness reminds me more of LVEB. I tested Imari Fantasy and LVEB side by side and that way I could really smell the difference in quality, the Lancôme is much more layered and the Avon has a somewhat hairspray-like undertone. Weirdly I didn't detect that when I smelled it on its own. This is allright but really nothing special. I wish it had more pronounced notes of hazelnut and nashi pear (which is listed on the official Avon site instead of regular pear). There are many other fragrances from this genre, even in the cheap price range, that I find to be better.

It smells good but it is waaaay too spicy for me. Not sure if that's spice that I'm smelling or probably the "balsamic" smell but it's too strong to ignore. In the Philippines, this is labeled and called as Imari Bold. Indeed a Bold take to the Imari line. Beautiful in the cold weather but definitely not for a humid climate. It can be headache inducing or maybe just not a fan of this DNA. It smells like Juicy Couture Gold but like on crack. The Jasmine Sambac made it worst.

This is called Imari Bold here in New Zealand. It is a super fruity-patchouli type scent with a strong praline note with a fizzy rose/bergamot type note. It's quite long lasting, not unpleasant at all just not the type of fragrance I like, it is too sweet-candy for my liking. If you like sweet toffee gourmand scents this could be for you, it is a bit like a watered down Coco Mademoiselle/Flowerbomb hybrid to my nose.

Not a fan it doesn't smell very nice almost dull and cheap I baught due to it being sprayed in the catalogue and it doesn't smell the same on me will probably be gifted to my mum it reminds me of a bottle from Poundland to be totally honest

Very disappointing! All I got was a vague fruity sweetness that evaporated in no time. As another person has already stated: do not blind buy. I'm a huge Avon fan but not of this. Was destined for the bin but I gave it away.

Smells dusty to my nose, like a powdery smell cant explain. Nearly full bottle if anyone wants it

I blind bought this because it had good rewievs. But it smells like black opium without coffee and i can't stand black opium. This smell is not special at all. I feel like a lot of middle aged woman smell like this in my country(Türkiye). It is not a bad thing that this type of smell is so popular but i dont like the smell really. It smells cheap. Plus it is very sharp.2/10

After applying, I got an almost juicy, luminous note that only lasted for 3 seconds before it settled into safe and bland orange blossom/bergamot territory which is warm but dry.It's not hazelnutty, vanilic or caramel-like at all. Upon sniffing my wrist I got some faint hints of ..mothballs/old clothes, which could be the jasmine sambac, according to the internet description of its smell. It lasts for two to three hours max (I'm generous here) and mostly stays close to the skin but this could vary according to skin type.I'm on the drier side. Imari fantasy and Incandessence Lumiere (both avon)seem to have the same predominant orange blossom note but the Lumiere is a lot more juicier and has better sillage. Conclusion: if you love straight orange blossom with hints of old clothing and you like reapplying, this is for you.

Bought this from the brochure. I've read the comments here and thought the praline and nuttiness can overcome the sweetness. Sadly, it reminds me too much of the sickly sweet mango puree. The kind that has stuck to your fingers during the whole day at elem school. This thing CAN LAST. Have I said there was no nuttiness in my observation? I couldn't smell anything beyond the mango puree smell. Am giving the bottle to my cousin since she's just told me she bought one. She's loving it and is halfway through her bottle. TO EACH HER OWN , I guess. And by the way, I'm kind of blaming those people who suggested blindbuying this. Imari Velvet and Seduction. Those you can blind buy. Not this.

In all fairness! This REALLY does smell like LVEB Intense, Flowerbomb, Killer Queen by Katy Perry et al. This is like the cheapest perfume I ever bought with that kind of scent! And this lasts too! Im really really impressed. This smells really yummy. Very sweet. But that's exactly why i love it. This might be my most favorite perfume now from the Avon line. Im currently wearing the scent right now. I can't help but sigh due to happiness brought to me by the delicious scent of this perfume!

This has to be one of the longest lasting fragrance I own. I spritz some on last night before bed and 11 hours later I can still smell that undeniable Imari DNA on my skin. I'm not well versed yet at picking out notes yet so I can't say much there. I do feel like this is very similar to Imari Elixir, just with less of the berries. That's actually a plus for me as I like Elixir but I'm finding the berry notes a bit too overwhelming for me. This is a great alternative for me.

This is one of my favorite in the Imari collection aside from Imari Elixir (its even more appealing to me)! I love its scent since my mother ordered this during its first release here in the Philippines. I'm looking forward on buying one for myself and it's not a problem since I'm a dealer. But I'll share Imari bold/fantasy with my mom for now :D

Well Here's ANOTHER One that Avon U.S. Doesn't have, even Though IMARI was First launched here in the Mid 80's and was a HUGE Hit...hhhmmmn I wonder When and IF we're gonna have it!

Well, with notes like hazelnut and caramel...I obviously have to get it.
