Infinite Seduction for Him

I was given this fragrance by my grandmother for my birthday several years ago. At first, I didn't like it as much, it seemed too warm for me as I didn't wear many fragrances at the time and when/if I did, I preferred the fresher ones. I think I hadn't developed a good palette or sense of appreciation for all of the different notes in fragrances. Fast-forward a couple years and I have really grown to appreciate it. It's quickly become one of my favorites ... an Avon fragrance, a favorite - a little funny! Infinite Seduction is a very simple yet alluring fragrance. It starts out very nicely with cardamom and vanilla, reminiscent of the first few minutes of La Nuit de L'homme, and turns into a nice woody, sweet, floral scent after a few minutes. When you first spray it, give it two or three minutes before you smell it, or you may not like it. It's a strange one, it's very bitter for a minute or two but then develops that very nice cardamom and vanilla scent. As for longevity, I was very surprised as this is one of my longest lasting fragrances! It easily lasts 8-10 hours, if not longer. I can still smell it on my laundry two or three days after using it. It was quite surprising. Sillage is good as well but not as surprising as the longevity. It radiates a little more than arms length (3-4 feet) and remains like that for two-three hours before settling to about a foot's projection for another 3-4 hours before settling as a skin scent. Overall, I was very surprised and happy with this one. I'm glad I was given this one as it is one that I never would of purchased otherwise. I finally finished the 75mL bottle she gave me so I wanted to purchase another to have it but it was a little hard to find. I'm not sure if it was discontinued but it may have of been with how hard it is to find. I finally found it on ebay.ie, the Irish version, and was shipped out of France. The shipping was more than the fragrance but I wanted to get another bottle, if just one more. A sentimental thing, I suppose. If you can find it for a good price, I'd pick it up but I wouldn't go out of my way for it; the only reason I did is because of what it means to me. There are similar fragrances out there now that are much easier to come by and smell great. Hope this helped! It's my first review, by the way!

This is a Cardamom King! If you like Cardamon then get this you will love it. I find it a little too strong on first application but on dry down it does become very tamed. It has very good longevity and moderate projection which makes for a very nice warm winter and/or night scent. What you get for your money is certainly a tremendous bargain.

Great smell, but goes close to the skin within 2 hours. I use it after a late evening shower before bed. Worth it's small price 6/10

Infinite Seduction is an intriguing name for a fragrance, so I thought I’d give this a try just by the name alone. The scent is very powerful on first application but then settles down into a calming aroma which I first found quite pleasant. I get cardamom, vanilla and leather from this fragrance, vanilla I love, but there is something about the other two ingredients, (that I can detect) that I found quite off putting the more and more I wore this scent. I don’t know whether it’s the cardamom, leather or both, but I just get such a severe headache. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s a nice fragrance in general; it’s a shame I can’t wear this anymore. 5/10

A very, very nice scent for man. Had it been slghtly more powerful and persistant, I would have called it a masterpiece. The Woody notes have a distinctive 'creamy' quality that, together with the hints of vanilla, seem to make it more of a scent for the evening. As for the price, needless to say it's fairly attractive.
