Fragrance Review For Lavender By Avon Notes: Lavender "The delicate allure of lavender, enticingly romantic, delightfully fresh"..... This fragrance takes me back! I'm about 4 or 5 years of age, Ronald Reagan is President and my mother is a good friend and client of the local Avon lady. If my memory serves me well, this was probably the first Avon frag I remember smelling. My mother hoarded a lot of Avon perfumes. I rediscovered this beautiful floral scent via ebay where the vintage floral toilet water and soap set was up for sale. This was the exact set that my mother owned in the 80's. I love the actual aroma of lavender and I'm a fan of purple flowers so for me this is a must have, a fragrance of comfort and joy, of relaxing fresh spring time lavender. It's very cheap and very simple. It's a lavender soliflore. The toilet water is a splash bottle you have to just slash it onto your hands and apply it to where you want it on your skin; in my case the sides of my neck and just above my cleavage. There is something about this fragrance that does have a kind of maturity and older woman vibe but I'm not 18 years old anymore and though I'm not an old lady nor anyone's grandma or even anyone's mother, I enjoy floral fragrances and don't care for the labeling and categorizing others do regarding age. If you're a fan of lavender scents this is pure lavender. It's a sweet and perfumy aromatic fresh lavender. It's got poor longevity so I put it on just after a shower and right before bed. It's clearly a simple soliflore to keep at home and to wear as a domestic fragrance. I keep this one in one of my bathrooms at my townhouse. This is one of my many floral frags I keep only at home; another is Tea Rose by Perfumer Workshop and Rosewater by Crabtree & Evelyn. This is a fragrance to scent your pillows with, the air in your room or household, an enjoyable fresh scent of lavender. It's really quite beautiful, nostalgic and dreamy. Still selling on ebay! Short lived lavender. Similar to Demeter Lavender and possibly even weaker sillage and longevity. Not bad just not perfumy enough. More like air freshner. It's also really designed for scenting your pillows with. Spritz this stuff on your bed and go to sleep and dream of fields of lavender. Beautiful.

This wasn't the most natural lavender scent, however it was very nice, refreshing and... that's it:)
