Little Black Dress Weekend

It’s a nice little fragrance. For the price you are paying, you can’t go wrong. I wear it to the cinemas and outdoor summer activities. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from women, a few from men. My coworker said it “smells like summer in a bottle”. And I guess she’s right. It’s very refreshing and not too sweet. Reminds me of summer time in Portugal or Italy. I can definitely smell citrus, orange blossom a nice lemon and a juicy orange in the fragrance.

Yet another fantastic Little black dress flanker from avon! I like the original but the trio of flankers - weekend, party and lace - are fabulous. Weekend is a light, bright citrus that isn't synthetic or cheap smelling. I wear this a lot in the hot weather

Am heartbroken to realise that Avon are discontinuing this beauty... I wish I'd known...I'd have stocked up!

The bitterness in these orange peel notes makes me think it could easily be unisex these days.

The orange notes made me intrigued to buy this perfume and I imagined it to be sweet and citrusy. Indeed, it is sweet but not too sweet to the point where it gets cloying. When I first sprayed it, I got that sweet mandarin and orange, but in the dry down, it becomes a citrus-musky fragrance. On my skin, it lasted a little bit more than an hour but on my clothes, it lasted the whole day. I've used up half a bottle of this and I decided that it's not for me. The dry down is very masculine, almost like men's cologne. I can see a guy wearing this. But I prefer feminine perfumes. 🤗
