Local Nature Almond

Okay I actually really like this! It was a blind buy for me since I could get it cheap combined with an other perfume I was going for. This for me is perfectly between a tea-light/aquatic fresh/light floral scent. In the beginning you mostly get the pear, and during the dry down it stays nicely warm/milky/vanilla which I find very pleasant during the day. I can see this as a very non-invasive scent ranging from teenagers to office workers (who don't want to smell overbearing). On my skin it reminds me of coming out of the shower with the ever-so-lightest lingering showergel scent. All this being said, these are the facts on my skin: - It is very light, sits close to the skin and lasts around 3-4 hours. - I don't get the almond milk, but once the dry down of the vanilla hits me it does faintly remind me of a warm milk. - I am not the biggest fan of floral scents (especially rose! I dislike this) and this scent does not give me any traditional floral in that sense. To me it's mostly a fruity-pear-floral. - None of the notes smell synthetic to me which is AMAZING. I think you could wear this in any season as a day scent, and I think it's a very safe buy to try out.

The Jasmine one smells more like pear to me than this one. This still smells pear-y but there has to be some sandalwood in this or some other wood because it smells really woody on me while still being sweet so it's not too dry but yeah. There's no way there's no wood notes in Almond. This smells more woody than the other 2 that actually has some type of wood listed. Either way this is still a bit different from the Avon fragrance blueprint so I love that but I don't love love this one. I do really like it tho but not my fav from this line. This one is a youthful fruity scent but a bit less youthful than Jasmine but that might just be my nose, those 2 are ever so slightly similar to me.

To my nose it smells like Angel, it's very fruity, very young, little-to-no almond (at least not Dior almond). Yeah, Angel, that's it....

Honestly, it's what I expected. It's fresh. The opening reminds me of a green soap bar. Over time, slowly, subtly, vanilla appears. For me, unfortunately, almonds are not noticeable in any way and this note was the one that tempted me to make a blind purchase. It's not an entirely bad fragrance, although it doesn't last very long.

I don't like this fragrance and I ended up exchanging it for another one which I ended up loving. However, from another exchange I ended up getting Dore by Jacques Battini and it smells exactly like this one... What are the chances. Dore is supposed to be a dupe for Black Opium but it smells exactly like this one, so... I guess this one smells like Black Opium?
