Mesmerize Mystique Amber

The scent is beautiful once the initial alcohol blast dissipates but you seriously have to smother yourself in it for it to be remotely significant in how strong it is. Such a shame because the notes and the warmth is exactly what I look for in a perfume. But the complete lack of any throw is a huge disappointment 😥

I love the clean, light, powdery peachiness of this fragrance. This scent is lovely on its own, but it is also good for layering with heavier vanilla florals to bring lightness to them, or to add a feminine lift to a spicier oriental. Shower fresh yet cosy.

Peachy powdery amber. The peach is really really nice in this, like creamy spicy, I can't get enough of it. For an Avon perfume, this is impressive.

I have several samples and decants that I haven't really taken time to explore much and this Mesmerize Mystique Amber was one of them. A great perfume pal sent me these several months back. She got them from the UK since these weren't offered here in the US. This is a very nice perfume. I have the old original Mesmerize for women and I really like the men's Mesmerize Black version. I wore this with some nice sandalwood based body lotion today and it was really pretty. MMA does not remind me of the original Mesmerize but does remind me quite a bit of Prima Noir which I own and love wearing. These types are perfect fragrances for days like today when we have cooler temps and cloudy skies here in southern CA. I will have to try this again but for now I would say Prima Noir is so similar that I wouldn't go out of my way to get MMA as well. I'm really glad I got a chance to try this though!

I like it, but to tell the truth it smells like a shampoo with peach accent:) black version is much better, still smells like a shampoo:) still i like it from time to time to mix with others
