Mesmerize Red for Him

I found the notes listed on another site as - Top notes: mandarin, bergamot, juniper Heart notes: cardamom Base notes: wood chord And another says - "An enthralling sensual combination of vibrant juniper berry, aromatic basil and captive musk" Yet another - "Captivating mix of fresh juniper berry, mysterious spice accord, and a touch of sensual wood essence" So all we can say for sure is that it's got juniper in it. I got a 100ml bottle for a fiver without knowing any of that, and was pleasantly surprised. It opens pretty alcoholically and is then briefly underwhelming, but after that a lovely, almost creamy, lightly spiced orange-type-fruit with a touch of herbal woodiness comes through, and stays like that for the duration, which is moderate-to-good. I don't usually get along with citrus as it tends to be harsh, artificial, and sharp on me, but this was not like that. I got the impression it might be different in different weather though (testing in very wet winter). I'm a woman and think this is totally unisex, possibly even leaning feminine, but it would probably smell different with a man's skin chemistry, so idk. Edit: I have now tried Avon Mesmerize Black for Men, and although it is very similar I like this one way more. Black is too sweet and cloying for me, whereas the touch of citrus and herbs in this one cut through that and make it more complex and beautiful.
