Our Story For Him

Bought this at a bargain price not expecting too much. A perfect spring/summer fragrance that is good for work and evenings out. lasts 3 to 4 hours and smells more expensive than it is without being harsh or common. After smelling a lot of the new medium priced releases recently I feel that this compares favourably for the 30 plus age group. To my nose it goes through 2 phases. Firstly fresh and then aromatic without anything offensive or sweet/sickly. Very masculine and well constructed modern fragrance and one you could just spray and wear without a second thought. . If you didn't know the brand you would never classify as Avon. P.S had excellent comments from work colleague today who haven't said a word when I have worn a far more expensive offering. By the way the bottle is not a copy of Chanel no 5. it is plain and masculine/ no nonsense with a good sprayer. my rating quality 8 out of 10 lasting power 7 out of 10 So far I would buy again. Also a very sensible size of bottle, 75mls

To the ones who sneer at the bottle, proclaiming it a copy of Chanel 5: 1. The topper is completely different 2. This is a perfect square. Chanel 5 isn't. 3. The bottom is incurved. 4. Our Story has a version 'For Her', which is fully round. For Him / square ; For Her / round. Got it? And, last but not least, these people trying to sound clever seem not even to have SMELLED it ! It's a very fine cologne in which the sharp, grassy notes of vetyver are nicely balanced by the mandarin (and a hint of lavender, though Avon doesn't state this).

This flask looks like Chanel no. 5's bottle. I hope Chanel takes any legal action...
