Patchouli Indulgence

As I was used to those "aunt from america 80-90" sweet, deep pefrumes before, this one has changed my senses:) At first it felt sharp "c'mon its not my smell" - but i gave it a chance - and after some time - i love it! ordered more of artistique to try:) i am hindu nagchampa (magnolia) inscence lover - i have ordered magnolia and gardener:) patchouli indulgence - this one suits me very well:) it is very subtle, still energetic, has good lasting. This one has very little to do with patchouli - still it is so beautiful:) next will be amber and iris:) i want all series on my shelf:)

Words can't even describe how beautiful this is...I thought it's a cheaper Coco Noir but no, the patchouli and the rose are dancing with each other at first, then the spices kick in, and suddenly I'm back at my childhood, sitting in my friend's old Mercedes that smelled just like this in the early 00's, everywhere I went I smelled this beautiful patchouli in the air, and we were really happy at that time...thank you Alexandra, thank you! (It's even smells a little bit more natural than other Avon stuff too if you don't know to pick it up or not)

OH GOD after spraying this on my wrist i was mesmerised. i just couldnt stop praising the scent! sweet and elegant, i absolutely love it! the lily of the valley , pink pepper and violet create a gourmand smell, sweet but a bit leathery, almost "dulce de leche" sweet. perfect for colder days of autumn. it is feminine and versatile. my mouth is watering when i smell it.

This is a very beautiful fragrance. Roses with delicious amber. It smells very very rich starting with 5 minutes after aplying. I love it❤️ La vie est belle lovers will like this too.

Crazy strange and almost incense and smoke like in the best possible way. I love love love it. Beware - this surely is not a blind buy type. You will either lover or hate it.

This range is probably one of Avon's best releases as I am quite impressed with how well-made this line seems to be compare to their other scents, which I am not the biggest fan of. I'm samping an original Avon sample. It is a nice little peppery-patchouli rose; quite pleasant and inoffensive. The amber gives warmth and a touch of sweetness to this. It lasts about 6h on my skin, however comes closer to skin after a couple of hours. The iris and musks are at the very base and I only smell them towards the end of the life of this scent - just add a little bit of earthy fluffiness in the drydown. The patch in here is pretty clean not too earthy/dirty, soil-like smelling, so it should be patch-friendly for patch-haters. If you are looking for something more daring with patchouli and rose, however, and cheap, go for Lalique's Perles de Lalique, which is a very interesting almost mentholated rose (a bit like the long discontinued Dior's Midnight Poison); if you have more money to spend, the famous Portrait of a Lady would be the best bet. Now that I think about it for a while, at the top of my head, this somewhat reminds me of Gris Dior, but I need to smell both at the same time to be able to confirm this. However, if you are new to it all and not ready for anything too daring/dirty/earthy, this really is a nice elegant little fragrance for everyday use, a pretty safe little stocking filler too.

Avon really surprised me with this line. With patchouli I have a with or without you-relationship, I think it is one of the ingredients that really requires mastery from the creator of the scent, it can so easily get unbalanced and annoying, not to speak about the low quality, artificial patchoulis to be found in many low-cost scents. Well, it is a pleasant surprise, although Avon, and accessible price, it still smells nice, not artificial, somewhat sharp and strong because of the pepper note, but feminine and classy and balanced because of the flowery heart. I even sense the bergamot, which gives it a certain lovely note of freshness. I think it is a lovely, wearable yet elegant scent, well done, Avon!

I love the entire Artistique collection, this one came to me as the last one and it is a pleasant surprise, as the name does not aotly the describe the scent I'm getting. On me there's no patchouli, or if it is there it's hidden or blended so well it doesn't bother me (I'm not a patchouli lover so to speak..) It dies remind me a bit of YSL Elle, or at least that was something that came to mind, yet this one doesn't last as long and lacks notes of Elle. However, I find it lovely and very much wearable. Such a pity it got discontinued..

Longevity is a bit disappointing, which I don't understand as the dominant notes are normally quite strong in other perfumes. It smells good though, cant name a specific perfume it reminds me of, but it is familiar. Start reminds me of DKNY stories edt I have, but the drydown is more sensual and rosy maybe a bit like stella mccartney.... I am happily using up the sample, but wont purchase a full bottle

Good, spicy, romantic rose and patchouli behind. For mature people, autumn/winter and evening. I like it, but it's not for every day. Very enjoyable perfume - if you wear it in the right case and right mood. For 20 eur it's a good purchace if you want to add something a little bit oriental (light version) in your collection.

I'm so sad that this has been discontinued, this whole line was so good, quality fragrances at a decent price. It has a somewhat niche quality to it, the patchouli is great, earthy and deep, the woody drydown is excellent. Performance was pretty decent. Come on Avon, bring these back.

A fairly sweet ambery patchouli with definite floral hints. Longevity is pretty good on me at around six hours. It's no ground breaker but it is very much on trend right now as a warm hug-me patchouli. Good for day or night.

very nice smelling, rosy-patchouly-musky modern yet classic smell. but the lasting power unfortunately is ridiculous... which I am not used to with Avon

Based on the name I was expecting a fairly big dose of patchouli, but I have got a very peppery rose instead. Based on the reviews everywhere I was expecting to like it a lot, I thought it is a breakthrough in modern Avon's history, so went for this blind buy. It is okeish, but so nothing special. A bit disappointing, because I really hoped to find a thick, dense and sweet patch, the one that shines so bright in Lacroix's C'est la Fete Patchoili or in Fancy Nights. Nope. This baby is quite thin and transparent itself, but camouflaged by layers of pepper, has a little bit of everything and reminds me of too many watered down things at once, like Joop Wow! Rose Oud Yves Rocher, Velvet Rose Jo Malone etc etc etc. No lasting power as well. On the positive side - I like the shape of the bottle itself.

Ok niche avon, I see you. Feels more niche than usual avons and I'd love to try every avon out there because really i keep saying they are underrated. Affordable, high quality, often niche, never chemical. The only issue they often have is strength and longevity but at this price point what can I say, you have to be realistic about it. And sometimes it's not a bad thing, I rarely wear my bombs in public because they seem overpowering and dominating. These will never do that. Now onto the scent, don't expect a deep patch here, I would describe the rose as a much more green, fresh, almost vintage rose, patch heart and plenty of spices make this interesting, but not gothic or dark or resinous at all, still more on the light fresh side of rose. Now looking at the notes that lily of the valley might be contributing to the green and vintage aspect but it's not dated, just more of a rose garden kind of rose that they used to use in older perfumes, the ones that remind you of walking through an English garden in the countryside. Still I've smelled quite a few of this type of rose which were niche and quite expensive so I'm getting good associations. Not my personal style of rose, but I can definitely appreciate that it's a good quality perfume, especially at this price point. Not overpowering at all, just wafts nicely around you gently. Drydown smells sooo familiar I had to really search my brain to realize that it really reminds me of the drydown of SJP lovely. I actually really enjoy that one, I used up a whole bottle some years ago.

I think the name of this perfume is misleading,it is rather ambery rose than rosey patchouli. This is a warm rose scent spiced with some pepper and a little of patchouli,and this just nice but it is not satisfying at all for people who love the patchouli note with its earthy, dark and mysterious vibe.I am really disappointed with this one don't blind buy depending on its name.I am waiting for winter to test it again may be it would bloom in a different way. UPDATE: this is a winter fragrance for me ,patchouli is more detected and the woody accord is more obvious now , I really love it in colder weather and I love that it smells very different from typical avon fragrances it is really unique .I think it has some muscline vibe specially when dried down. It can also triger headache but I avoided that by spraying it on the back of my neck. I really enjoy wearing it

Hey wow! To me this is totally unexpected. I wouldn't have thought Avon smelling this for the world It smells rich, rosy and patchouli like a niche something! Surprisingly good on my skin, due to the warm weather it takes the turn of an Indian bazar on my wrist but this will be a stunner in winter! On me this has a oud like note and I love it in the night. Love the design as well, for the 10 euros I payed for it, I am more than surprised and satisfied as no one could guess my fragrance for less than 70-80 euros, if not, with little fantasy, some niche stuff! Well done Avon, something for us, little dark taste in perfumery as well from you. Appreciated here!

I never thought I'd be saying this about an Avon, but this is impressive! The bottle, the quality of the ingredients and the craftsmanship are all superb and at a more than reasonable price. I had a bunch of Avons' before but never really was into any of them, until this collection, very impressive and I hope they keep it up and expand it. To the smell, it is a Spicy Patchouli that brought to my mind Noir by Tom Ford, similar genre not smell, really good, the spiciness gives it an exotic edge and it is Unisex.

I ordered samples of all 3 fragrances from this line. I am testing Patchouli today. I have a dab on sample, not a spray. I aplied it on my wrist. I know it, I know it.... it is discontinued Iris by Yves Rocher! Not it is not that, but defo something I own. Yes, it is Iris but that one from Crabtree & Evelyn. On my skin they smell the same, the only note they share, is patchouli. Nice fragrance. Not a must have for me, but nice

A chic patchouli rose combination. I have definitely smelled something like this before, I think a perfume By Kilian! Yes an Avon that smells like niche expensive Kilian. I am pretty sure it is the discontinued Rose & Oud. The patchouli is traditional and earthy, rose is traditional bright crimson, there is some woody sweetness too. I am absolutely in love, want to buy 100 bottles!

That's a perfect match for me. Subtle, still very feminine and energetic. This can be used for any occasion, a party or in small appliance for an everyday scent. It has very good lasting and nice transition. It makes me relaxed;) strongly recommend;) yet, i think that it has nothing to do with patchouli;)

One word:weak.I had high expectations for these perfumes,but I was dissapointed.This smells interesting,but it's not persistent at all,and it also gives me a headache.I would not recommend it at all
