Peony Rosé

If you love peony in a fragrance than this is perfect for you! It’s right in the name lol which is what made me want to try it. Got it in a swap and omg this is the perfect peony fragrance because it has this airy, aquatic type vibe that makes it so it’s slightly more versatile than some peony scents! Love this!!!

I (blind) bought this recently, after my friend raved about Avon fragrances, and so decided to spray myself with it last night before bed. I was awfully surprised, based on the reviews of low longevity, when the first thing I realised upon waking was that I could still smell the perfume on the back of my hand!! It's a pleasant fruity floral: nothing revolutionary, or worth writing home about, but a good easy reach for errands or around the house or relaxing. It's much sweeter than I had expected (red currant usually being more tart than sweet), and I totally agree with the picture @Fragaria paints. I don't think this is a fragrance that I would wear it to work. Personally, I think it's worth the price that I paid, but I would hesitate to pay more than about $20 for it, because there are just so many other scents out there that excite me more.

This is uncomplicated and delightful. It's exactly what I want when I make an ice cold pitcher of pink lemonade, slip on a cotton sundress, and in my bare feet, head for the porch swing with a good book. The only thing more welcoming than a breeze, is this perfume floating on it. I can already hear Ella and Louis singing Summertime...I'm there!

I received a sample of this from my Avon rep. Peony Rose is tooth-achingly sweet at first, but becomes more sheer, fresh, and rosy. Pretty and feminine. A good spring-time fragrance.

One of the most boring in the Flourish line. I’d much prefer the other floral scents by Avon. It doesn’t even last long on the skin at all. 4/10.

A glass of fruit juice in the garden in summer. Basic but very wearable. Projection weakens quickly.

Oddly enough I don't pick up musk at all with this scent. It is actually quite powdery on me. Not a soft powder either but like you just walked into a powder cloud. The floral scent is there but sadly the powder outweighs the floral. I had such high hopes for this scent too since I really like both peony and rose. UPDATE: This is a fragrance that you can OVERSPRAY which is what I did. One spray on the arm, as opposed to multiple ones on the same arm, is all you need. The fragrance is then NOT overly powdery. Rather a soft floral scent. I am glad I tried it again. Am I in love with this? No, I will reach for it from time to time, but it is not a total write off that I originally thought.

I am so disappointed with this release. I was looking forward to a fresh, sparkling scent, even a bit greeny- aquatic with the dewy note. But this isn't that. It's floral candy, but not in a good way to my nose. This fragrance reminds me of those lollipops you get from a bank or doctor's office but it was retrieved a week later from a purse that smells of generic pink floral perfume. It kind of has a dated quality to it and does not mesh well with me. Shame because the image of the pink-purple flowers on the bottle are so pretty.

I received this as a sample and when I tried it, it seamed very familiar... This reminds me of Bath and Body Works Sun Ripened Raspberries body splash, which was all the rage when I was in middle school in the late 90's. I HATED it. All the girls wore it but it was just too sickly sweet for me (I preferred Sunsweet Kiwi at the time). This smells almost exactly like how I remember Sun Ripened Raspberries smelling. So if you were a huge fan of that fragrance then boy have we got a winner for you. I'll have to pass.

Sadly, this was a blind buy because I love peony and rose fragrances. Unfortunately, this is a an all too generic, candy-sweet floral musk fragrance. There's nothing special about it and it's like too many other fruity florals on the market today. In fact, it doesn't have rose listed as one of its notes and I don't get any rose in it, so I'm not sure why it's called Peony "Rose." I can only surmise that because of the accent mark over the "e" in "Rose" they mean pink instead of an actual rose. If that's the case, then many people are going to be misled into thinking this is a peony-rose fragrance, as I thought. I can't see myself wearing it very often ~ if at all. I'll probably give it away to someone. However, the positive in this experience is I've learned not to blind buy perfumes.

04/25/2020: The first few seconds is a sharp blast of floral-candy sweet notes. Waiting a few minutes, it settles into a clean, creamy, powdery floral. I abhor musk notes so I can pick it up here, but it’s in the background and is definitely on the lighter, fresher side of the musk spectrum, so for me it is tolerable. Final impression - shampoo/shower gel notes makes it a safe pick if you need something your boss, customers, and coworkers would find unobtrusive. Silage is about 3 ft or so; longevity on me - especially since I purposely spritz it in my long hair and on my clothes - is about 5 hrs. I needed a work/crowd-safe frag, so for me this is a thumbs up. Well done, Avon. THANK YOU 🌸🌹🌼🌷

If you’re just getting into perfumes and starting a collection this is a great one to start with. It is a bit generic but it does the job. This is something that I would keep in my purse just in case if I wear fragrance that doesn’t last long I need to freshen up with something that I know will please. It’s very floral however I don’t see why the name roses in it. It’s not in the notes and to be honest it doesn’t smell like it gives off the essence of rose. However, that’s the least of my concern. I really do love this fragrance. Something light and fresh that you can wear within hot weather!! Great little perfume buy!

This is a very generic smelling fruity floral perfume that you've probably smelled a million times before. Nothing unique here and also has a similar scent profile to a typical bath and bodyworks spray. This is not unpleasant just nothing that you could pick out of a crowd either. The price is similar to those of body sprays too, so with that in mind I'd say this is perfectly fine. Suitable for any age including younger people, as long as they like some florals in their fragrances. I rate this "OK".

The top is almost too sweet for me--like a floral candy. Now it's better, becoming a soft, lightly sweet floral-shampoo scent. Light and easy. Good for casual days and the office. Nothing to write home about, though.

This doesn't smell like a quality perfume to my nose. There's something sour and off about it. I was hoping it would be a dupe for Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, but sadly it is not.
