Perceive Dew

Perfect fresh and cooling scent. It is SO clean and crystal clear. It really lasts very long for such a light and fresh scent. It actually lasts 10-12 hours. It reminds me of a cool frosty morning here in Scandinavia. The aquatic theme is not salty, but rather some fresh cold water from a spring or melting water from ice. The dry down has a light and dry woody note, while still smelling like water. Quite odd. Could easily be unisex as it is very close to Acqua de Gio for men (that I as a woman loves and uses as well). Considering the price it is a treasure.

I have been watching this for a while and now that I finally got it, I am in love with it! Fresh, dewy, just altogether lovely. If you are into scents like Giogio Armani Aqua di Gioia, or Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and its fresh flankers, you will like this one. A safe blind buy for those who like aquatic, fresh, clean, ozonic, dewy green scents. A perfect pair for spring and summer to the original Perceive, which is my favourite scent for winter.

One of the loveliest perfumes ever made, it just goes to show the cost of a perfume is no indicator of quality. Very fresh and clean without that strong citrus that some aquatics tend to have. It smells like a quiet sunny beach that has a field of freshly bloomed white flowers next to it. Very peaceful, very calm, beautiful.

I wanted this one for a very long time, when i finnaly got it, first reaction : I just love it! The fresh smell is bursting, also quite strong. It is for daytime wearing and always reminds me how much i love flowers. >.

One of my fouvorite Avon fragnance, Go for it! Really fresh, really clean, gives me feeling of cold morning in mountains or fresh salty sea water. Long lasting

This smells e x a c t l y like light blue's but sweeter and jucier, richer sister. Longlasting and very very well done. Love it!

Among top 3 of my favorite Avon perfumes, just behind LBD and Perceive Blue.

Perceive Dew is the second of four Avon scents I recently bought blind, basing my choices entirely on the notes listed in their brochure. (I do this once in a blue moon, usually around my birthday. When I was a child and we lived on the line of poverty, my mother would indulge herself twice a year by “splurging” on Passion Dance — it was her one excess, her one luxury, and it has left me with a lifelong fondness for the brand.) It is advertised as belonging to the “citrus-marine” group; lemon, melon, and freesia make up both its top and main notes. Key word, advertised. It still surprises me how musky this actually is. Might be entirely an issue of pH — but after the initial spray, it’s all I can smell, musk on a warm bed of diffuse florals. I still cannot decide whether that makes it unpleasant. It’s certainly interesting. It’s also categorically not a marine scent, though I suppose it would play well enough on a windy beach somewhere. Lasts little, but that’s par the course. Doesn’t radiate.

A very youthful scent. Refreshing, in a calm way. Summer and late spring, sweet and crisp at the same time! Light (body-sprayish), but also with a character. I got to know about this perfume when I met an insanely beautiful girl during my trip to a foreign country, and she was wearing this. It smelled so good - not expensive, but light, happy and simply nice. I bought this fragnance for myself when I came back home, and was also receiving some compliments when wearing it. Edit: I am commenting on the perfume in the old design bottle (not sure if it was reformulated or not). I am getting melon, freesia, honeysuckle notes.

Just received it today: it is all you need when 40 degrees in the summer hits you like a punch in the eye. It s like a marine cloud around you, very aquatic but when I smell it up close I find a little mellon and some flowers(not freesia specific, but flowers). Quite uplifting and a jam for that price. You can wear it at a "cleaner" job like a nurse, or doctor because it's not in your face, at the gym because it's citrusy, for a walk, at a shopping....it is versatile for sure and I think a person who wants that type of clean-pure smell might enjoy it.

A romantic and delicate fragrance with a soft projection. Floral and aquatic, crisp, and subtly sweet with touches of freesia. The flacon is as captivating as the fragrance itself, evoking crystal-clear purity and freshness. It reminds me of the fresh, airy perfumes characteristic of the late 90s and the beginning of the 21st century. Longevity is moderate, and the fragrance quickly settles into a skin scent. It is an ideal choice for a gentle spring or summer morning, or as a comforting fragrance to wear to bed.

This is wonderful for summer- sun, joy, freedom, fresh sea wind... I love Chanel Chance eau fraiche , but it's very expensive for every day wear, so I wear this- they smell alike. Of course, we can't compare the sillage and lasting power, but the scent is similar. Chance for evening and special moments, Perceive Dew- for every day. And yes- it has nothing to do with original Perceive.

This was a blind buy for me since I like fresh scents and I knew what to expect really, and this didn't seem like a complicated fragrance either! Im not disappointed at all, it smells so nice oh my days it has this flower note among all the dewy melon and aquatic notes which pulls it together SO well, im in love

The melon notes in this almost put me off, but the strong citrussy lemon notes almost make up for it. The Marine notes are there too, making this a lovely fresh option for hot weather. It's really crisp and fresh. Not bad at all! Good for office wear in the summer. Very inoffensive.

It reminds me of my great-grandmother. I always felt this fragrance in her house and garden. I miss her very much. :( This scent is like a flower garden or meadow with some aquatic accords (melon and water) and lemon. Very fresh, ideal for spring.

It's crisp, salty, citrusy, perfect for hot summer and beach days. Although the lemon in the opening is a bit too harsh for my liking. This scent is definitely nothing out of the ordinary. Just a nice, fresh, everyday summer perfume.

It's a perfect spring perfume, slightly aquatic floral/herbal with a delicate wisteria note, a cheap replacement for Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege. Nothing like Light Blue! :)

After getting pregnant I hated all my perfumes because they were too sweet or too heavy. This one is exactly what I need right now - fresh, watery and a bit fruity.

When i smelled it on the catalogue it smelled like bvlgari omnia crystaline ,maco polo woman and light blue. I bought it and on me it smells like acqua di gioa

Not my style but for some reason I like it. It smells like when you open your window after heavy rain and the sun comes up. That's what it reminds me of .....

I had it, and liked it very much. It ́s like fresh spring awakening, like a light breeze from the ocean. This fragrance always puts a smile on my face .

Barely any depth to this... smells similar to other cheap aquatic scents. Waste of money.

Typical citrusy gym scent I have not much else to say. I use it when I go running, then wash it off and use somthing else. For this purpuse Perceive Dew serves me well. Would not buy it again though.

Hmm... I seem to be the first to write a negative review. I'd like to specify that I'm talking about the new bottle (without swirls and with different font). I don't know if the scent has been changed but it doesn't smell like sea air nor like a meadow... It is very artificial and short lasting. The crystal-like bottle is much more beautiful than the fragrance.

Smells like air freshener. I ended up using it for the toilet. Costs about the same so it's no loss. Affordable fragrances can be superb but this was a no for me. Screechy and nauseating.

Dish soapy on me. So, it's fresh, I guess? And clean? I was expecting something better.

First of all, if you didn't like the original Perceive you can still give this one a try because it's nothing like the original one. Perceive Dew is a fresh fragrance. It's most suitable for spring but also for summer. The freshness is not light but rather strong. It's not the intimate light scent that could easily be unnoticed. Perceive Dew starts with a blast of pure lemon but soon the other notes come in. I can mostly smell melon, freesia and honeysuckle. And amber is the nice end to this scent. It's not overwhelmed with musk but this is where it gets delicate and slight. I like both Perceive and Perceive Dew. They're kind a like opposites, Perceive Dew being for daytime and Perceive being for nighttime wearing.

This is the first Avon perfume I actually think is worth buying. I used to find all Avon perfumes smelling alike after 2-3 hrs. Some smelled rather odd on me. But NOT this one. It is fresh, long lasting and ideal for office wear. An excellent purchase for its money. Sweet, but not candy, fresh but not airy, summery but not suntan, it will take one or two spritzes to last all day. Nothing special, but so cool. Don't you just love it when you buy something really cheap and it turns out an indispensible part of your everyday life?

The original Perceive is much better. I don't have it on hand to compare, so I can only speak about Dew. It's too fruity to be an aquatic, but too watered down to be fruity. It's like the perfume equivalent of drinking LaCroix when you were craving real fruit juice. I'm not sure what to make of the marine/fruity combo. I'll have to smell other takes on it but as for Dew, this one is just okay.

It's too sweet for an aquatic as someone said. I was looking for something similar to Polo Sport Women, it shares some notes, but alas. Lost cause. It's not bad at all, if you're looking for a sweet fruity aquatic type fragrance but it's not my cup of tea. I like dry wine and unsweetened tea, very dark chocolate, etc, no tolerance for sugar, maybe it translates to perfume preferences.

Wasn't sure about this one on first wearing, it seemed a bit sharp for my personal tastes. However, by the next day, I came around to it much more. It is fresh and yet strong, without being too strident. I get a powerful floral, melon and sea note aura. A day time reviving type of fragrance, rather than one for an evening date.

Just got this today and OMG ... it's very beautiful First of all it's not related to the original Percieve in any way - this one starts of a little bit (loud) and a little (lemonsh)- then the dry down is more sea-water like mixed up with nice florals overall it's a nice,refreshing summer scent that could work for both genders

I didn't manage to find something with sea water notes and bought this. All I wanted was some sea water with melon and citrus. So I got it, for a very nice price, by the way. For summer it's the best.

I need to know where ya'll are getting this! I am seeing it everyone on here in your profiles but I can't find it anywhere in the US to buy!!

Really pretty bottle and lovely refreshing scent. Kind of similar to light blue or green tea by Ea.
