Perfect Nonsense Bamboozie Cocktail

Bamboozie Cocktail is a shower-fresh summer scent, opening with a watery sparkle of bergamot and lemon, as well as a boozy twist reminiscent of limoncello. Some of the greens begin to come out with the dry down, though my nose isn't refined enough to detect bamboo or sap, and even the tea seems too ethereal to truly make an impact here, though zesty juniper lends this perfume a masculine edge, a la Acqua di Parma's Mirto di Panarea (which BC shares a fair few notes with), along with a faintly sedgy undertone. BC is definitely a unisex scent, and one of the most refreshing fragrances I've sampled to date. The only downside is its longevity, which is very poor, lending it more of a body mist vibe without much of a base to carry it into EDP territory.

An exceptionally ethereal composition built on the subtle freshness of tea and citrus over a sweet backdrop. The sillage in the opening is noticeable up close, but the scent is very fleeting, fading quickly even as a skin scent. A good perfume for an instant mood boost, yoga practice, before sleep, or to refresh the mind and body during the day.

Beautiful, fresh, and calming tea vibes, reminds me of Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden but only to a degree though, it's not like this is an exact copy of GT. Definitely one of those basic and calming but not boring fragrances. Sort of a spiritual vibe.

I just love this scent profile. Citrus, bergamot, tea. I think it will be a great everyday summer scent. Now, one of the previous reviews mentioned furniture polish - I’m picking it up as well, but I don’t mind.

Bamboozie Cocktail opens with a fresh & sharp jolt of energy, thanks to a mild but distinct gin accord. I really wish it lasted longer, but it is soon taken over by bergamot, jasmine and a sweet lemon. I'd say that the star of bamboozle Cocktail is the white tea, because on me it is easier to seperate than the bamboo - don't get me wrong because the bamboo is definitely there, in fact when everything else has dried down, I can still pick on the occasional wafts of jasmine and the bamboo, so it is there and it is longwearing. As for the fancy lineup of fantasy scent notes? The quiet patchouli seems to be mixed with indistinct woods and something ambery. But the base stage is so close to the skin, that I can't separate anything or even take a confident guess at what it is. The longevity and projection is what I'd call "okay for the price", but it's certainly nothing great. It only wears for about 4/5 hours and it is quiet & becomes closer to the skin pretty quickly. I find this to be nice for the milder & warmer spring and summer weather during lazy days & for bed, layering with the other two Perfect Nonsense fragrances, and I'm looking forward to discovering layering combinations this autumn & winter. However I'm not confident about wearing this iin public - I asked my mother for her honest opinion the one time I did wear this out, and she compared it to me spraying furniture polish over myself. Needless to say that this is not something I'm going to repurchase
