Wait a second...What?! This thing is magnificent. I paid 10.20 Euros for this? Yes, I did. Beats 10x more expensive designer scents by a mile. An easy going, relaxed smokey vetiver with patchouli and other woods perfectly blended. Not loud, but calming. Who ever did this, did it perfect. This could be a secret weapon among the boring usual fragrances out there today. Brilliant.

I swear this smells like a darker PRADA Amber Pour Homme! I love it!

Premiere Luxe on Fragrantica and on the Avon website has a limited set of notes because they only mention patchouli, vetiver and guaiac wood, but I can also feel other notes there. The opening is "delicious", a lemon note meets patchouli and ginger. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it suggests something spicy and culinary, and as the first notes calm down a bit, light black pepper appears. The heart of the fragrance is vetiver and amber. For me, the amber in the middle of the fragrance is a bit surprising because it is strongly exposed here. I smell musk and guaiac wood in the base. At this stage, the fragrance dries gently and sweetly. Amber and musk last the longest, with a guaiac forest emerging from time to time, and this is what makes Luxe in the final phase remind me a bit of Armani Code, but with the first version from 2004. I don't know what the current releases smell like, I had them a few years ago and something seemed to have changed for the worse, but in Premiere Luxe you can hear the Armani Code from 15 years ago. In general, I have the impression that Premiere Luxe was inspired by amber from perfumes from the early 2000s. A dark, slightly smoky, slightly soapy, amber scent. Such a sweet, warm and spicy combination of amber with guaiac and musk. Projection is average, the scent makes itself felt from time to time, but durability is very good, even great, for a fragrance costing several dozen zlotys. I can feel it on me practically all day long. It's not as innovative as Avon's Tomorrow, but it's a really good fragrance in its price category. I would have forgotten that it also has a strong connection with Tom Ford's Noir. 7/10

Greetings, My mom has bought this fragrance for my dad. I could not help but to borrow it and analyze it a bit. For me it is a rather unique/interesting fragrance that smells of patchouli, green and even leather (for some reason) notes. It is very close to the skin, and does not shout. Very subtle, warm and I would say an evening-smell. I have some doubts regarding longevity/projection, since even though it is quite strong in the beginning it dries down very fast and sillage is somewhat lacking (not a huge problem, since it is quite intimate smell). It is also interesting to note, that even though it is very masculine in the beginning, after a few minutes it becomes a lot softer, and I could not shake a feeling that this could serve as a unisex fragrance for a strong woman. If applied sparingly that is. One way or another, this, like most of Avon fragrances lacks in Sillage, however even though I have some small doubts I want to and I will recommend it. Its a good evening fragrance, a bit sweet, a bit fresh, a bit masculine. This could be sold for a lot more money, if it had a famous designer name on it. In the future I would like to see Avon improving the potency of their parfumes, other than that it is still a gem. Go for it. 7/10 or even 8/10

It was given to me by a friend, because the first time he showed this to me I was stunned by how good it smelled. It reminded me of something, but I can't remember what. It has such a luxurious and enigmatic vibe. I can imagine a charming masculine man at a night out wearing this. The performance for such a cheap Avon fragrance is unexpectedly good! I sprayed myself 6 times and it lasted all night and even in the morning when I woke up it was still around. It's best for colder weather and of course at night or rainy days. The scent is a masterpiece however I did find that after a while it can get too much. It's not for everyone I should say. It's not a casual scent and definitely not a t-shirt and jeans type scent. The bottle looks luxurious, but it's a shame you can't see how much is in it, because it's not any transparent. This perfume is highly underrated. I agree with the reviewer below me if it was sold under a brand like Tom Ford it would be all over the place.

this is too heavy fragrance , I have bought it , at first I do smell something green cucumberry that I like , but then I dislike it as I don't like (musk and powder) to mix with green and earthy , the result is not good to my nose ,similar fragrance to it would be narciso rodrigues for him. Edit : But I love Narciso more than this.

I have it...and this one is a very pleasent oriental-spicy- vanilla fragrance.It is very similar to another Avon's perfume - Mesmerize..and in the same time, its remind me Obsession for men by Calvin Klein.I like to wear it now in winter in a cold and rainy days...it is very pleasent and comfortable.

It can be compared to better Avon fragrances from designer lines. Very intensive and elegant oriental fragrance with a lot of patchouli and vetiver, longesivity is modest.

Thank guaiac wood is this perfume similar to BVL Man in black.

First I got a sort of cucumber/violet leaf along with something leathery, and I was thinking "inspired by" Fahrenheit, but that lasted for only a minute or so, and then I was thinking of the first "masculine" by Narciso Rodriguez, though there's also sweetness here. The vetiver and guaiac wood are weak, and the patchouli isn't exactly a heavyweight either. There's no lavender/fougere element, nor harsh musk, nor "chemical nightmare" aspect to it. I'm thinking of it as a lighter and sweet NR, and it might be interesting to layer these two, with one spray of NR to a few or more of this one. It's certainly a niche-like offering, and well worth the $10 per 75 ml I paid, though if you already have a bunch of scents and don't like this idea, it may not be worthy buying, of course. UPDATE: More than an hour later and I'm thinking Armani Code for Men and NR, but probably a bit more AC than NR. This is not a layering combination I would have imagined but I do like it enough to feel that the purchase was well worth it. Projection doesn't seem strong but not outright terrible. UPDATE #2: Longevity was excellent and projection at least good, but it became more and more of a Code-like scent over time, though not exactly like Code. Perhaps it's even closer to a scent like Black Sun by Dali. Not bad but not really the kind of scent I prefer to wear the overwhelming majority of the time.

Quite sweet and long-lasting. I'm not sure how to describe it--possibly a masculine version of the entire Lancôme La Vie C'est Belle collection or Flowerbomb. Sweet candy-musk patchouli. A little heavy hitting. Axe/Lynx have just released a new line called "Signature Oud Wood Vanilla" which smells exactly like this, but subtler and less "thudding." This sort of thing coming out of Avon makes me wish they'd invest in improving the strength, longevity, and sillage of their men's classic "Black Suede," the endless flankers of which are all awful.

If this liquid was sold in Tom Ford bottles, it would cost fifteen times more and would be praised all over the world. But no, this is an Avon perfume so snobs cannot praise it. I have some very expensive perfumes, but when I come across a perfume that is not expensive but has qualities, I have no problem admitting it is excellent, and I immediately buy it. This is one of those cheaper gems. Amazing smell, amazing quality. Do not let snobs fool you. If you are into elegant and a little bit serious old-school type perfumes, buy it and enjoy.

ok first of all the bottle isn't that luxurious as i excpected ! -_- it's just nice nothin' else :/ and..the scent is so "strange" and too heavy as soon as u spray it,few sec.and u will smell it very..veryy masculine,so strong and heavy..maybe warm too,u can say sexy somehow but not the best sure..perfect 4 night,,,if u like the strong scents u should try this!

Just ordered it becuose I like how it smells , hope it will have atleast average projection becuose I'm disappointed with avon fags in that segment... sometimes longevity is ok but projection is always problem with their frags...
