Prowl

This bottle just came across my desk and my first thought, Feu d'Issey! That's funny the last reviewer thought the same thing. The packaging is adorable, I'm not sure why they release things like Instinct and bypass a fragrance like Prowl. This is much more sophisticated and I agree way ahead of it's time.

I did not own this perfume, But I did see that Avon has a release soon in June that might be similar or a re release. Avon Odyssey Untamed- limited edition, US. Lemon, freesia, amber. I'm looking forward to trying this ! Love freesia

It's a strongly milky-peppery scent, the milk note is the "hot/nearly burnt milk" note and it's prominent (I don't get it why it's not listed). It's blended with black pepper and cardamon - may be overwhelming at first but it really does the job on late sunny and freezing afternoons/dusks. I bought it ca. 25 years ago with mixed feelings and used it only 9ccasionally - in really cold and sunny weather (way below zero) which is a rarity in Poland these days - that's why I still have some of it left. I wish they brought it back - it came way ahead of its time and therefore remained underrated.

One of the 'milky-spicy' scents from the late 90's era, probably slightly inspired by Feu d'Issey but much more pleasant and wearable. I still have half a decant and I occasionally use it on really frosty days, as the scent is so spicy, warm, sweet and intense. Why don't they re-release it? Prowl definitely came ahead of its time, as on the millenium breakthrough few of us were ready for this time of milky-gourmand scents.
