Pur Blanca

Wore this in Jr. High and High School. My mom sold Avon when this came out It was the first time I had the "MUST HAVE FULL BOTTLE NOW" impulse with an Avon release. My mom is from Germany and most of my life my grandmother lived there. With all the travel back and forth, German culture and sensibilities helped shape a deep love of delicate, light, clean scents. 4711 was always in our home, but that was too adult and unisex for me. This is where Our Blanca came in for me: It has the fresh, not indolic or heavy, floral heart (since when did this ever have ylang ylang as a scent note? It's not in the original version.). And it's not the typical fruity-floral bombs that started coming into vogue then and have been reigning pretty supreme ever since - cough- BBW/VS- cough. Yes, it is delicate. No, it is not groundbreaking. But in a world where so many fragrances are screaming for attention, the gentlest voice can be the most noticeable. Pur Blanca stands out that way. It's a white floral without the usual white florals. It's aquatic, but without the shrieking citrus and obligatory vetiver/cedar base. Those who find it generic don't realize that Pur Blanca was one of the first perfumes in this niche aquatic category. Personally, I find her legendary that way. An unsung beauty, still winking at us from behind her demure veil. Overall, this is a zen, peaceful scent. It's what I had wanted Haiku to smell like. It always garnered compliments, from men and women alike. I wish it was higher quality and less synthetic, but it's Avon, not Kilian. A natural version of this would prove to be immensely profitable and popular. It's undergone at least one reformulation, coordinating with the packaging changes. The original is best, but hasn't aged well. Whatever is in this degrades a lot from heat and light and absolutely affects the scent - skewing oily rancid and plasticky, losing the delicate facets of the florals and giving the musk a rudely sharp facet. Sillage and longevity are excellent, especially on clothes. Use sparingly.

I wanted to get a decant of Guerlain Musc Outreblanc as I love that fragrance, but I have a lot of decants that I don't wear.. So I thought of doing something stupid and getting a full bottle. BUT, I had the inspiration to look on fragrantica and see that people were saying Pur Blanca smells like the Guerlain. I thought it would be a disappointment , but for under 10$ for 50ml I decided to take the gamble. The smell: Pur Blanca does not have the bright opening of the Guerlain - it replaces it with a slightly creamier version of its drydown. As for the drydown, it is almost a 1to1 with the Guerlain. Needless to say I am very happy about the purchase. The performance: This is where the Avon lacks big time. While Musc Outreblanc is almost a beast, Pur Blanca lasts a long time, but it is a skin scent from the moment you spray it on. BUT, comparing the fact that you can get 100ml of Pur Blanca for under 20$, while the Guerlain in over 300$, for me it is a win. I see this being sold as a women's fragrance. Since when smelling clean and classy has a gender? Traditionally it does have a feminine lean because of the white floral nature of it, but the bitter green and fresh aspect of the fragrance makes it one that anyone, any age can wear this. absolutely pure, feminine, clean and bright. after macerating the edt in a dark cool place for +4 weeks, the scent reaveals more of its romantic character, which i love. doesn't cause much annoyance when you spray, but god how i wish it was more long lasting, stays strong for 2h tops on a good day! very safe and comforting tho, gained a permanent place in my collection. ps: the lotion smells beautiful as well. Update; this EDT doesn't have any longevity power, but I've done the forbidden and sprayed this edt generously above my head and on my hair ends and MY GOD my hair smelled DIVINE for 3 days.. AVON take my money and make a hair mist edition out of this perfume! Update after 3 months maceration, the EDT loses most of its alcoholic note and only exudes its floral and warm soapy scent. Longevity gets much better and stays on clothes for almost a day.

Ah, the nostalgia! This was my first fragrance ever. My late aunt gave it to me one Christmas when I was still a little girl and it remained my signature scent until my late twenties. I still wear it (was it reformulated again? I still have my old bottles, including the pearlescent ball and green star and I think they changed heliotrope for ylang-ylang at one point...) and I don't plan to stop anytime soon. My fragrance collection grew during all those years but Pur Blanca has a stable place in my vanity table. It's very clean and likable, I truly haven't (personally) met anyone who would dislike it. Yes, it's a bit short lived but for the price, I don't mind to re-spray it several times a day if necessary. Fresia - peony - musk - heliotrope/ylang ylang since the 2000s... Very gentle, very nice everyday office scent.

I've never smelled Peony Soft Musk from Avon,but now they are bringing it back in a shape of a christmas star and reading the notes,I decided to take a chance and ordered it.I've just receive my bottle,put some on me and at first sniff I thought i liked it.After a few minutes I realised it smelled familiar.After a few more minutes-BINGO! It actually smelled like Pur Blanca.I was so glad to find this out,cause years ago,when I lived in Europe,Pur Blanca along with Dreamlife were my very favorite frags from Avon.The scent is very soft,clean white and soapy-white flowers,woman in pure white.I missed that scent so much,now that is available in USA I'll order more bottles.Thank you Avon!And I so much wish AVON also brings back Dreamlife.

As my first Avon scent, I did really good. It's a very well done fragrance. For a cologne, it lasts absurdly well. In terms of dimension, at first we get the full character of the perfume. Smells like thick powdery white flowers, and it settles as this gorgeous white musk. Again, not in a fresh out of the shower way, but in a cozy sweater way. Smells clean and fitting for colder days. I do catch a whiff of something makeupy, like a vintage lipstick, but it is still very good. I'll keep repurchasing this. There's also a marble/pearly quality to it I seem to really enjoy. The only time I caught this also was with Montblanc signature traditional.

I would say this is one of Avon's finest releases. There is nothing generic at all about this one. Up until now I never smelt anything quite like it. Too bad they discountinue this. Obviously they didn't know what's good even when it hits them in the face. Anyhow, I got a cool, breezy white floral scent, with a tinge of sweetness. Imagine lounging under the sunshade on a balcony overlooking an ocean, and gentle salty air blowing all over. That is how I feel when I wore this. Truly elegant and timeless. I wish they would release this again, together with Rare Gold. These 2 are my signature scents in collage! I really miss them so much...

I got this lovely gem from avon as a present from a friend,I gotta say I love it,I usually don ́t give credit for avon scents at all,I don ́t like cheap scents or copy ́s from the real scents !! And from the ones I know,it reminds me a lot my summer signature scent Omnia crystaline, probably because of the water lily.. it ́s very delicate, innocent,fresh,soapy,and has a huge sillage and longevity I mean,it lasts all day,and you don ́t have to spray like crazy.. 3sprays are enough.. I love it.. Thumbs up for this one :) :)

It's light, it's delicate and warm, refreshing and calming, elegant and playful, feminine but could also be masculine,somehow all at the same time! It is one of the rare smells that I could wear in every season and every time of day, normally as the weather changes my sensitivity to smell also changes. I don't own one right now but it's my next planned buy after I use up my current "all occassions" perfume. Of course this is my personal taste but all in all, it is a classic by Avon and I hope they never discontinue it!

Can you imagine some hidden meadow guarded by elves in the middle of the forest? For me that's it! Very clean, very pure and very fresh floral fragrance. Heaven on earth. I can smell every single note in it. Well blended freesia for a fresh start, then rich flower smell and for the end some soft wood and musk in combination with some magical flowers. Unfortunately does not last long and does not have great sillage but it was worth every cent. I will buy it again and again and again... That was love on first smell ♥️

Ohhh, it's such a shame it vanishes in a blink of an eye!! This maybe my favourite scent ever, but i don't find it serious enough to put it on any occasion other thant in office. And when i do, i always feel like i'm scent naked becouse it lasts so short. I can't feel it after an hour or even less. It is very tender, soft, powdery, feminine, "white", spacey, clean and neat...I think it's for almost everyone and everywhere...Well, at least it could and most certainly would be if it wasn't so quickly vanishing

at first when i sprayed it i thought it smelled like baby wipes but after some time it settles into a clean laundry, fresh, young scent. i used it in late autumn and early winter the most and its projection is what i expected from expensive perfumes, not from one of the cheapest from avon (i love avon tho). i recently bought it again (my 4th bottle) and it smells so comforting and i always receive compliments with it. i highly recommend this if you’re looking for a clean elegant scent on a budget!

Bought it first time when Avon brought it out again in 2024. (Namibia) Was a good price and wanted to resell it again, but decided to spray it on. Absolutely love it now, and my fiance loves it even more on me. Almost reminded me of Avon Treselle but more balanced. Pur blance is sort of unique as it has no annoying note to my nose and other people still smell it on me after I am used to the smell. Lasts about 1-2 hours. I feel both young and older people will enjoy as an everyday perfume.

I never knew about this scent before until I got it from office gift swap. I fall in love since that day! It is so fresh, feminine, floral & clean. Unfortunately it doesn't last long. It last about 2 hours or 3 hours top for moderate sillage. The rest of the time, it still there on your skin but only if you sniff it. Since it's very light scent, I found it its perfect to wear for Sunday breakfast date with my husband and sometimes after-shower-before-bed for a good night aromatherapy.

I'm currently in my clean soapy girl era and I saw an amazing deal on this perfume. I used a promo on the Avon website and got 2 bottles for an affordable price. I use it along with my Dove original shower cream and the Dove essential care body lotion. The combination is fresh and clean. Perfect for every season. The lasting power is not impressive but I apply it frequently and liberally to help it last long.

I wonder if this is the same frag I got in the Philippines but released as "Pure Bianca" ... grown to love it because of all the fragrances I wore, drugstore or expensive, I can't believe I've gotten the most compliments for this! Of course, when asked (by men!) what I'm wearing, I'm too embarrassed to say. Yikes, my skin chemistry agrees with cheap perfume! :p

Pur Blanca is such a soft cozy scent. Floral, fresh, clean, simple, and soapy, it’s just perfect when you want to feel comfy and smell good but not overdone. Freesia haters may want to stay away - the freesia is pretty strong here. I don’t smell any mint. This is a spring scent for me and I’ve been reaching for it a lot lately.

Eternal classics IMO Much better than most of (if not all) so called "clean/laundry/crisp fresh" scents of present day TBH, even projection is great (compared to diluted water ya'll buying for hundreds bucks) Just imagine someone produces it in a new bottle under some niche brand - and - voila - WHAT A GREAT SCENT!!

I am in love with it. The most perfect clean scent that is so affordable. When I say I want a clean scent this is exactly what I mean. It just screams cleanliness. I don't see almonds in the notes but myself I can smell them strongly. For me, it's like someone made a clean laundry flavoured macaroon. Gorgeous.

I love this perfume so much. It might be nostalgia, but I've loved it since I was little and rummaging though the scented pages in the Avon catallogue. It's so flowery and clean, yet somehow soft and cozy. I find the smell so nice and unique that I could compare it to designer perfumes

Perfect scent for bed freshening, for after shower, for running arrendes and for day wear. Won't last long so you ́ll need to reapply and overspray (and the sprayer on this sucks) however I love the clean feel and lovely white flowers. Feminine and fresh, one of the best from Avon

I had one in high school and now i have the new version. It used to be creamier and lasted longer. It is almost identical to Musc Outreblanc. I tested both and of course Musc Outreblanc has more dept but if you don't want to spend €200-300 this is a good alternative.

This is a warm floral, not too sweet, just right. Comforting, a little flirty but not much. It has a very innocent vibe. There's nothing "dirty", burnt, incense-like, or earthy about it. Very safe for a young woman. This works much better on the skin than on clothes.

I blind bought this since people were saying it is similar to omnia crystalline from Bvlgari. Oh my god, this smells NOTHING like it. Too synthetic, too sharp, too cheap. I don't smell the "clean" in it at all. Will give it away.

I like this perfume.it's cheap n rare floral musky smell.from my experience it doesn't smell like mostly perfume. It has its own smell.nice unisex floral perfume. A must try one!! Hehe

I absolutely love it! I buy this edt whenever I find it on sale. it is very light, perfect or all time and all seasons if you like delicate and light smells.

this is a staple in my wardrobe. very safe scent. when i'm confused on what perfume to wear i use this. i think it can be used in any occasion.

This fragrance is simple but still very pretty, grown-up without being too young or too mature, very beachy, blossomy and clean.

I was looking for a clean, simple, laundry-type fragrance and since it's very affordable, I blind bought it. Usually I'm not lucky with fresh and clean scents as they tend to turn sharp on me, so I didn't have high hopes for this either. Fortunately, this is perfectly what I was looking for and it works with my chemistry beautifully. It's not groundbreaking, but a very nice, inoffensive scent to wear at home or when you'd like to smell clean. Definitely has that 'just came out of the shower' vibe. Sadly it doesn't last on skin (1-2 hours at most), but I can smell on my clothes even after 8 hours. My husband has a bad nose, he doesn't smell most scents, only those that are quite strong and either really good or really awful, therefore he rarely compliments my perfumes. This, however, made him sniff me and tell me I smell very nice - though I have many waaay more pricey and sophisticated scents. Definitely a strong like for me.

Bought it mainly for nostalgia. I used to wear this in high school, but I couldn't remember what it smelled like. Since I only wear clean perfumes, I thought, why not? This is floral, musky, soapy, creamy and powdery in the drydown. It definitely evokes some memories for me. And it was only 4 euros for 100 ml. The name Pur Blanca suits it very well—it's pure and it is white. I've read some reviews saying it smells like a body cream/lotion and i agree. That's the best part for me...it smells like a clean body lotion. People on here are calling it boring. I'd rather be boring than smell like the nausea-inducing sugarpocalypse everyone is into nowadays. Also, I agree with the person who commented that if this were a niche $150+ fragrance, it would be called incredible.

I have a love-hate relationship with this perfume. Every time I tell myself that I shouldn't buy it again because I'd like to try new things, but then I always fall for it because in the end I find it suitable for every occasion. On me it's a perfect four-season perfume that goes well both day and night. I never go wrong with it. It's delicate and clean, floral and musky but with a certain sparkling and menthol that makes it different, very youthful. Unfortunately, like all Avon edts, it has a rather poor persistence on the skin. After an hour I don't smell it anymore, but when I remember to put on body cream it lasts even half a day. Sprayed on clothes, however, it is very persistent and can be perceived even the next day.

This is a lovely pretty scent I got for very cheap and was amazed by its pure clean beauty. It received some hatred on forums because of its simplicity but it doesn't deserve it. It is simple, done with grace. Its longevity is very poor so don't expect it to linger around for long. But I had the cologne version in a flask, no spray. The EDT of EDP may last longer. At the end I gave the remains, about half of it away for shoebox charity last Christmas, I hope that its light and bright scent makes a teenager happy. It is so nice and unoffensive, and I'm not... so even though I liked it and it can make a day brighter I realised I need more complexity and wouldn't use this scent enough. I hope the current owner does. :)

White t-shirt. I like it. That's basically all i feel with it. I don't love, i don't hate it. I just like it. Is not a fragrance to give you feelings. You just like it, or not. Is super simple. Extra casual. The fragrance you wear to walk around the house, maybe go out for a couple minutes. The fragrance you wear when you just wanna feel clean. Smell like soap. Like the feeling of a fresh shower. Fresh and wet. Peony, Freesia and Musk are the main combo. The white rose reminded me a little of Petales de Roses Blanches (although the second one is more like a real flower). Goes in a blink. Poor longevity. Skin scent.

PB is an Avon classic and for good reason. I find it a distinctive smell for a spring/ summer day. The fresh, crisp mint adds sharpness to the top. The white flowers are not your expected ones; no jasmine, orange blossom, tuberose or gardenia here. But rather white freesia, white peonies and white roses and lotuses. The base is still clean and somewhat powdery from the white musk and heliotrope. Lasts only 1-2 hours but I find it very uplifting on a white t-shirt and jeans for running some errands, or with a white cotton dress for a walk by the beach. Not groundbreaking but nevertheless Lovely.

I have it in the rolette concentrated form for the bag , and I should say I am very glad I got it in this form . It is the perfect "rolette" bag scent ..It's feminine , a bit creamy , clean and not offensive . Perfect to freshen a bit in Summer or Spring . It reminds me a lot of Little White Dress or Chic in White by Avon as well , but LWD isn't that linear and has much more interesting and a bit different note .I am happy with my purchase , it 's a basic scent with a good price . I may buy the full bottle of LWD but not this one .

Now I use from time to time, as my collection of water and perfume excessively grown Although it certainly buy again when the end. I like the water, but there are days when it seems childish to me, so to discos for teenagers, it is surprising, however, is that the Pur Blanca, like many men, it happens that my colleagues ask what's that smell, while on my expensive perfume is not pay attention. quite short lasting

Very soft and light fragrance, like a feather caressing your skin... Musk is very prominent with a hint of flowers. Inoffensive and very suitable for hot weather or allergic people or even children, spraying on linen and sheets... And I agree with Marwa (previous review) who finds it similar to Little White Dress, except that I was almost anosmic to the latter, while I can really smell and enjoy this one, and it's also very similar to Gap Close, in my opinion.

Looking at the notes, this was definitely for my liking. Then I saw comparison to Noa, which is quite similar. This scent opens with nuances of 90s feel, soft musk, floral/herbal zest and delicate powder. Very pleasant scent. Wearable on any occasion. It has slight similarity to SJP Lovely too. Definitely back in time, my childhood and youth scent that my older cousin used to wear and I would secretly spray on like no one could tell :) Another win from Avon!

I remember this perfume, from when I was a teenager and it's still available. It is warm and intense perfume, good If You like, that people around You can smell Your perfume to. I can't wear it every day, because its really strong and can get you sick, if owerspraying. But in reality your clothes will still smell nice about weak after, because its so intense. Evening and winter perfume, I think its too strong for daytime and summer hot.

I recently got this one and I have to tell you it's very similar to Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline but Pur Blanca is more floral and less sharp. Longevity and sillage...SUCKS!! But the smell is very delicate and clean. For the price, it's worth giving a shot. I think I'll be buying this one regularly because the scent itself makes me relaxed and motivated. I like to spray it around the house and on myself before doing my tasks.

PERFECT !! It's an amazing scent for Summer , especially if you're into light, watery scents. It's so fresh and it's long lasting on my skin. In my opinion, I find it perfect for a hot Summer day in the city, wearing cute white T-shirt & jeans :) I would pick something else for evenings ,vacations & special occasions.However, Pur Blanca is one of my fragrance essentials & one of my Avon's favourites as well :)
