Scent Mix Fizzy Green Tea

I think this is a great value for the price. This perfume reminds me of Lancôme’s Aroma Tonic that I used to wear in the 90’s and I discovered it when searching for a replacement for Aroma Tonic. It’s a very invigorating and energizing lime/citrus scent with the perfect touch of apricot-y osmanthus blossoms, ginger, and green tea. Fizzy Green Tea feels like a crisp, refreshing cocktail with fresh lime on a hot summer day. I love the smell of real tea olive blossoms and the osmanthus note in this cheapie/freshie perfume smells very close to the real thing.

This is actually a pleasant surprise from Avon - I've been testing scents from them recently, but neither the line-up, nor their longevity and character ever impressed me. This, however, is top-notch, especially now that it's 30 plus degrees here. I'm not really a 'summer-scent-type' so I barely own any typical citrusy scents, this one came to me through a friend who does distribution for Avon, and I paid some 4 euros.. Best 4 euros spent this year! It kind of reminds me of Jasmin Perle De Thé from Fragonard, although here green tea is not paired with jasmin, but somehow I get the same impression. Very refreshing, pretty and on me 4 hours plus! Like!

I received this by mistake (wrong order). I don't like citrus perfumes, so I will give it to my mom (who loves citrus). Of course, I tried it out of curiosity, and I have to say, it's quite pleasant and durable for a cheap EDT. Fresh, juicy lemon with a hint of ginger and some fruity sweetness in the background. Very much like a summer cocktail. More complex than what it seems in the beginning. Stays on skin and hair for about 3-4 hours, even more on clothes and fabrics, and develops over time. Delicate sillage. If you like citrus scents, totally worth giving it a try.

Smells very, very close to Nishane Wulong Cha for fraction of the price. Longevity isn’t as good but since I overspray (5-10 sprays) Wulong Cha anyways, this Fizzy Green Tea is much more pocketbook friendly that smells close enough and I can resume my overspraying without filing bankruptcy.
