Scent Trend

When I was a teeny-bopper, there was a local couple who sold Avon, and they would rent a booth at all the area flea markets and festivals to peddle their unsold stock. I'd choose a few things for myself each summer when they would come to the Fish Festival. (I live in a town that was formerly a fishing village.) Scent Trend is a blast-from-the-past cucumber and perfumey melon, just the thing I would have chosen from the tent. Makes me feel 13 again. Not as sweet as BBW Cucumber Melon, but still squarely in the family of Cheap 90's Melon Scents. Couldn't Avon come up with a better name than Scent Trend? Sounds like they forgot to name it after they formulated it. Speaking of formulation, I'm surprised to see this is signed by Steve DeMercado. He has some serious entries in his portfolio, including Fancy Nights, which I love. If you find this cheap and want some nostalgia, go for it! Otherwise, you've smelled this a million times and can probably skip it. I doubt I'll ever wear this, but it's fun to own. Maybe if I'm going to a 90's themed party!

don’t know how or why, but this smells exactly like my local antique mall. and that’s not a bad thing, i love this smell. maybe the scent has degraded or maybe it’s the woody notes idk. you can clearly smell the musk and sweet melon and papaya. the cucumber smell isnt as strong as i wanted it to be but it’s still there, just not front and center. over all this is one of my favorite fragrances i’ve ever smelled, simple yet beautiful. will definitely stock up on bottles as it’s been discontinued for sometime
