So Lady like

This is a fragrance I have had for many years and I just re-found it amid my hundreds of bottles of perfume. I am so tickled that I rediscovered it's beauty. It is a very pleasing floral, not too harsh, or synthetic. It swirls around me like a beautiful butterfly fluttering around colorful flowers, all happy like and yet tender as if not to break the lovely petals. It is in fact, lady like in a lovely lace and satin sort of way. Too bad it is discontinued now and hard to find. I am so pleased that I have almost a full bottle and it still smells divine. I keep all of my perfumes in a cool, dark part of my vanity if the box is no longer with me, other wise I leave them in their boxes so the light does not degrade their luxury. ;-) This is one of Avon's rare beautiful scents.

I had this one for a while. While I get the flowers, which is always a lady like smell, the frag just have a medicinal smell that I can't stand. I have tried it in hot and colder weather with the same results. Just not for me. Gave it away.

This perfume is from 2001. It is a beautiful floral, and has held up over the last (almost) two decades. The description above is vague, so I am going to add some copy from when it was launched: "Create an aura of elegance with So Ladylike! The exquisite floral fragrance is composed of tuberose, tiger lily and creamy musk for the perpetual touch of luxury." In person, the bottle reminds me a bit of Benefit's Maybe Baby, although this Avon one was realeased 2 years prior to that. The box is absolutely adorable, and if you can snag the powder along with the EDP, I highly recommend it. While it's been long discontinued and becoming more difficult to find, you can still get a deal from online sources.

I bought this when it came out from an Avon lady I used to work with. It reminded me of the Fracas reissue that was released several years prior though far less potent. Charming box and bottle.

Absolutely lives up to it's name. I have two bottles stashed.
