So Very Sofia by Sofia Vergara

Beautiful perfume! This fragrance is by Sofia Vergara, and is just about to make the Avon book here in the USA. It is not a complicated scent but is is lovely. I do not think I would call it bold though as it is not over-powering at all. The patchouli is not overly stated either and I do like that. It adds a bit of lush to the scent without screaming at you. I can hardly wait to wear this one to bed and see how it holds up in the morning. If the complete dry down does not turn into something awful, then this could become another one of my Avon faves. So far over the last year, maybe a bit longer the only really great Avon scent to me has been Passion, so I am really hoping for another really great Avon scent. This one has an air of class to it that I have been missing in most all of Avon's new perfumes. A+ for now!

I saw this a few years ago on a Avon ad but never got it since I wasn’t a frequent Avon buyer. I own a lot of Sofia Vergara perfumes and love them all so I recently decided to get this off eBay and for steal of $9.99! If you’re familiar with Avon perfumes then you know some of them are really good! As a buyer of Avon perfumes in 90s and early 2000’s myself they have some hidden gems and this is one of them!! So Very Sofia is so good!!! The notes of passion fruit,orchid and patchouli blend so perfectly together without being overbearing. I also pick up a slight note of a musky vanilla!! Longevity and sillage are both moderate on me and I’d get this again!! **I don’t pick up Lancôme La vie est belle vibes from this....imo this is more fruity.

I have Sofia's first two perfumes and I absolutely love them, so I was expecting to love this one as well. I just received it from my Avon lady yesterday (along with a full size shower gel and body lotion) and wore it today. I love it! It's a very simple perfume, but it smells amazing. It's so feminine and sexy, I can see lots of people loving this. Longevity is not the best, I get about 4 hours before it becomes a skin scent. But I don't mind reapplying because it's just so beautiful. The patchouli in this is so nice. I'm really happy I bought it.

Very mainstream Avon and Oriflame patchouli perfume...but I really like it. Didn't expect too much when I blind bought it and in my opinion it would be a non offensive office scent all year around. The bottle and the scent are pretty nostalgic to me, giving me vibes of early 2000s when my mom used to wear many of these fragrances. Off course I need to overspray in order to smell it, but it's OK as long as I got it for 20 nzd even after it was discontinued ;)

A gorgeous, sweet, fruity fragrance with a tropical feel. The passion fruit note is delicate and not cheap smelling. The orchid note is heavenly and the patchouli is deep and smooth but not overpowering- I would call it more of a musk/patchouli with vanilla. It’s perfectly balanced and very likeable. I really love the dry down as it settles- it’s beautiful - I only wish it had more longevity and projection- it seems to fade just after a couple of hours.

I found this for pretty cheap, so I thought why not? It’s not bad at all! I usually steer clear of the patchouli note, but I can’t even detect it in this. I took another reviewers advice and layered it with my Adam Levine for women and it’s just wonderful! I am not a fan of that perfume on its own, but if you layer them, it just works beautifully!

This is, in my opinion, very very good considering the price. I expected it to be a harsh, chemical and alcohol-ish scent, because it was extremely cheap (I paid $84 mexican pesos, around $4 USD, for the 50ml/1.7oz bottle). Such a bargain!! I threw it in my cart to reach the minimum amount to get the free shipping in an amazon order. It was such a pleasant surprise! It smells earthy, flowery and sweet. When it dries down it gets sweeter and slightly powdery. I think it's a very feminine and alluring scent and I enjoy it very much in any weather. The only downside is that it lasts only a few hours (two and a half max, even on cloths) and it only projects the first hour, remaining like a skin scent the rest of its time. But, for that price, I can't complain and I can re-apply it as often as needed, with no regrets.

So Very Sofia is deliciously sweet more than floral on my skin. I blind bought this one based on my affection for two others from her, Sofia and Love and it's what I would expect based on those, sweet and smells like it costs more than it does. I did get it for $7 at a warehouse sale but still, it has the scent of a more expensive fragrance. It settles into a skin scent pretty quickly even with over spraying so it may not be for a night out or when you really want to notice it, but great for day wear and when I still want the sweetness without it getting overwhelming for those around me. The dry down has a powdery aspect that reminds me of Avon scents. Any patchouli is soft and I don't associate it with anything too tropical. It's very likeable and something anyone could wear and enjoy.

A slightly sweet, Fruity, patchouli fragrance. It doesn't last too long on skin, but it supprisngly lasts well on clothing. On skin, I get about 3 hours, on clothing, I can get whiffs at least all day. Projection is SLIGHTLY above average. Even though it's not listed, it smells like it has berries, or some blackcurrant, or something extra. Maybe even a touch of vanilla too. It doesn't change much in scent profile after application. Season to wear this? Spring, summer and fall is absolutely ideal for this. I personally don't get the comparisons between this and La Vie Est Belle. Maybe it's the way that the patchouli is used here, as well as that blackcurrant aspect in La vie Est belle that comes across as similar. Other than that, they really aren't in the same scent family.

Just got a sample from the Avon Lady. This smells suspiciously like Coco Mademoiselle mixed with La Vie Est Belle, but with a slightly sweet tropical twist. Too bad it doesn't have the silage of Coco M though, or the longevity of La Vie Est Belle. It's very delightful to my nose though. It has just the right amount of patchouli, not overly fruit at all, but it's missing some depth. It stays the same from initial application to the dry down. All in all it's very nice, but fleeting. They should have named it So Very Sofia Dream, because you wake up from it pretty fast and try as you may to recall it, the scent is gone.

This is sooo cute and feminine! I happened to receive a sample from my mom's neighbor (Avon lady ;D) and tried some from the vial today. It's a front of passion fruit and orchid, the patchouli rounds it out in the background. I dont believe cheap-y scents have much of a drydown.... at least not in the more complex side. Its a pleasant spring or fall type scent that works day or night(I prefer night for this) and actually reminds me of Victoria's Secret Bombshell- fresh from the bottle. I would say this is the better passion fruit, lasting longer and more earthy.

I just recently found this fragrance at my local Beall's. It was on clearance for 6.99 so I had to pick it up. I love the bright passionfruit opening, which dissipates pretty quick. The fragrance then turns into a light fruity floral scent, drying down to a creamy vanilla to my nose... I agree with a previous reviewer that it does really give off a cashmere-y vibe. If you don't like patchouli, you may not enjoy this. The other downside is the performance, as others mentioned... but at this price, I can just spray to my heart's content! 😊

@Foureleven stop trolling...ppl who give these fake reviews to badmouth a perfume, but don't actually participate here..so irritating....🙄 ANYWAY, while this perfume isn't groundbreaking, it's nice and pleasant especially for the price. At least it's not a fruity candy dish like some celebrity perfumes. My husband likes this, of all things...so, I wear it sometimes. Perfect for office or school. It's a very nice perfume. It's one that most people won't mind smelling on you. And everyone can afford it.

This is a nice scent, but in my opinion is more unisex than feminine, at least with my skin chemistry it smelled fairly masculine, but I gave it to my brother and he likes it a LOT. There are more notes than are listed here. In addition to passionfruit, orchid, patchouli, I think there is also rose, vanilla, and some kinds of spices. I'm not an expert though, so I'm not sure.

Sweet, warm and a little powdery. It's fine, nothing special. It would probably be better layered with something else. I think there are notes missing because I pick up on orange blossom but it's not listed here. Another site lists the notes as: Top - maracuja passion, bergamot, apricot Heart - Flor de Mayo orchid, orris, orange blossom Base - patchouli, vanilla, vetiver

Very pretty/feminine smelling. Great in the fall or winter evening out perfume. Smells like a beautiful elegant woman. There is something classic smelling about this scent. It is very save. Men and children will like it. It is a pretty sent that lasts a good amount of time if sprayed on clothing. Does not last long on skin 8/10.

I like it, but it’s not a love. I love the original Sofia Vergara fragrance but this one falls just a tiny bit flat for me. I would say it’s a good scent for day to day in any season and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It’s very pretty. I can really pick up the patchouli in there but there just a little sexiness missing somehow that I’ve come to expect from anything with Sofia’s name attached to it! It would definitely be an office friendly fragrance and I would personally wear it for daytime in the fall and winter. It’s a like, for sure, but it’s not knocking my socks off. It’s a solid fragrance for the price though! It just came in so I’ll give it some time to mature and see how it matures.

Eh, not a big fan of this scent, its ok but something is totally missing in the composition. I think it needs some white flowers to round this scent out. I love Sofia she is so fun and adorable. It was inexpensive on ebay so I bought 1 fluid ounce. It starts out powdery syrupy booze? And passionfruit but not as juicy... the orchid is non-existent. Patchouli is a tad bit there. This scent ends up flat and dull in a half hour. it is also kind of sour and lacks depth. I will not repurchase it smells cheap on me and like many other celeb scents. The bottle is very pretty though and I love Sofia.I will wear it when it gets warmer out and see if it changes chemistry.

Another patchouli that just doest work on me, So Very Sofia is too medicinal on my skin. It smells like cherry cough syrup to be specific. If you find patchouli to be a difficult note on your skin like I do, try before you buy this one. I should have just returned it after one spray, but I decided to keep it and give it a chance with the body wash and lotion. After a few wearings, I'm giving up on it and passing it along to a friend. I'll update if it works on her. Edit: Strangely enough, I find the SVS body wash and lotion to work beautifully with my other sweet patch scents. The actual So Very Sofia juice so very doesn't work on me though.

My prediction is....this will be an Avon favorite for MANY! Gosh am I surprised. This is just so pretty!

I've had this perfume for about a year now, maybe a little longer and I'm just now noticing that the notes on here aren't complete. The actual notes per Avon are : Top - Marajuca Passionfruit, Sparkling Bergamot, Juicy Apricot Mid - Flor de Mayo Orchid, Rich Orris, Spirited Orange Blossom Base - Golden Patchouli, Creamy Vanilla, Textured Vetiver Originally I bought this without knowing the notes because I love Sofia & her fragrances plus this was so inexpensive I had to get it. At first I wasn't crazy about this bc the opening smelled like menthol to me. I tried it a few times & just put it in the back of my cabinet, forgetting about it for a few months. I cleaned that cabinet out a couple months ago and decided to try it again. I'm SO glad I let it sit! I can now smell the Passionfruit & light bergamot in the opening, after 20 mins or so orchid blooms into the mix and finally dries down to patch/vanilla slightly powdery but still has some orchid and faint fruitiness. I've seen reviews that this is most suited for fall but I've worn this almost everyday for a week in 80 to 90°F weather and loving it! Light, airy, fruity, creamy- it's everything I love in warm weather. I get about 5 or so hours on skin if I don't layer & this is so affordable I will gladly reapply every 5 hours if need be. I did see a reviewer here say to try layering with Adam Levine for her (another very affordable scent) & it truly is a magical pair! This past week I've also used ylang ylang perfume oil & layered SVS on top, same thing with orange essential oil and most recently Dalal by AL Rehab which has been my fave so far. If you are on the fence about keeping or tossing this, please let it sit for a couple months & try it again. I couldn't believe the difference!

So Very Sofia is very girly, pretty, sweet, tropical, and pleasing. The passion fruit is rich and noticeable, well blended with orchid and orange blossom. There's just enough orris to give this scent a smooth, slightly chic powdery feel. Vetiver is fleeting at best. Patchouli is not very noticeable. This patchouli is dry, airy, lightweight, not strong enough to help this perfume last. I do love this scent, but unfortunately, it has extremely poor lasting power, disappearing entirely within 30 minutes. Like another reviewer says, layering the matching products does not help it last. Originally, So Very Sofia perfume was listed for $36.00. Now, you can get the perfume, WITH matching bath gel and lotion including shipping for as low as $14.00 the set. WOW ! What a drop in price ! Sofia's other perfumes are strong, long lasting, beautiful. So Very Sofia is pretty, but a real disappointment because it doesn't last at all. What a shame !

I just received this and so far I really like it. I see a lot of people comparing this to la vie est belle but to me Love smells more similar to that where as this fragrance smells like a toned down Flowerbomb in my opinion. Quit lovely and the dry down is more fruity floral than Flowerbomb. This does have a strong patchouli opening but I happen to like patchouli. I agree with all the positive reviews about this fragrance and I have myself second guessing my negative review of Love... Might go back to ross and snag it again if I can find. Go sofia! Excellent celebrity fragrances!!

I have this, and did a review on this perfume on Youtube a month, and a half ago. I have to tell you something though.....YES! She already has released another perfume with Parlux, called Tempting the 30ml is on Perfumania for $32 I think Tempting is her going in a different direction, and isn't another flanker, it's a new pillar perfume.

This does smell great but only for about 30 minutes. Even layered with the bath gel and lotion. I cant smell it and neither can my husband. I dont know if I got a bad bottle or what. I loved all of Sofias other perfumes and I was on a waiting list for this one. I just can not recommend this one simply because it won't last even an hour.

This is alright. A middle of the road fragrance. Not especially unique, nor is it a scrubber. It's quite creamy and woody, but light. I don't get heavy patchouli in this at all. This has a powdery undertone as well but it's soft. I'd say this is a more mature-smelling perfume that's ok to over-spray. Office-friendly for sure.

I Ioved it back when my mom had this, and I love it still. I just opened my brand new bottle after not owning one for many years, and I still love it. It’s simple,but great. I like to layer this one to make it into a bit more complex smell 😍 On my skin this smells sweet and fruity with fresh flowery notes. 🌺 🍈

Any Canadians looking for this should check out the omnipresent Canuck uber-$-discount store with the green and yellow sign. Bought it on a whim as I like patchouli and it's really very nice. Probably best suited to the fall as the juice isn't heavy and the patch may not be intense enough for our winters.

So Very Sofia has just the right amount of orchid and passion fruit,but is heavy on the patchouli. This is not fruity,this is patchouli-based. I snagged this off E-Bay for a much lower price than advertised. This is a good perfume for the price that I paid. I can imagine Sofia herself wearing this!

I did a blind buy from the Avon website,I really liked her first 2 scents, so I thought I would like this too. Boy was I wrong. didn't like it at all..I think it was both the passion fruit and patchouli that didn't blend well.As usual the scents I don't like, don't wash off that easy.

This smells better after letting it macerate for a few weeks. When I first got it, it was cloying and cheap smelling. Now it’s gotten way better and perfect for hot weather. It layers nicely with champagne toast from bath and body works.

I can't wait to try this wonder why she went through Avon this time. Because she won't be getting all of the profits of this perfume and a lot of other people probably won't know about it right away anyways shoot bottle

I bought this at my local Beall's and it was very nice. But I decided to try layering this on top of my Adam Levine perfume for women, and it's gorgeous. I love Sofia Vergara's perfumes. Very feminine and pretty.

I don't know what this smells like but it smells cheap. Like a cheap fruity lotion/sunscreen perfume. Not for anyone who wants to smell pleasant. Next stop my trashcan.

I don’t pick up any patchouli in this. It definitely reminds me of Chanel Mademoiselle without the patchouli. It’s very summery and girly smelling.

FYI: Anyone who loves This fragrance AVON is Discontinuing it and we Currently have it MAJORLY Reduced, STOCK Up While It's SUPER Affordable!!

Interesting fragrance; has an almost cashmere-y quality, which is strange because I can't find any cashmere in it.

Like most Sofias, nice but too sweet for me. I guess anything along the lines of La Vie Est Belle is off my list.

My daughter adores this perfume since the first day I spray it on .

Is this perfume being discontinued, because it is just georgeous.
