Soft Musk Delice Fleur de Chocolate

A few years ago Avon's Lily Soft Musk was my introduction to the Avon Soft Musk collection and I fell deeply in love! I'm a feminine girl. Love pastel colours and handsome men. I like all things girly! A romantic at heart! This range has had my heart ever since! The model on the advertorial appeared so virginal. Innocent.Whimsy even. Totally my vibe. And did I say chocolate is a girls best friend?! When I saw this in a catalogue recently- I HAD to have it!! I ordered blindly as there was no tester for it in the book. It arrived this morning. I left my breakfast and rushed down to meet the Avon lady's hooting down at the gate. I could not wait. I paid and said thank you. Obviously this was advertised completely differently. A brunette this time. Moody makeup. She gave off baddie vibes. It's night time on the pictures. I was intrigued. I opened the box carefully because yes I keep those! (that's what I store them in when seasons change). I LOVE IT!! My immediate thought was: my boyfriend is going to EAT ME UP when he smells this on me !!😊😍 It is absolute sex in a bottle. This is one you keep in your lingerie drawer😌 with all your satiny, lacy, saucy nothings! It doesn't last too long (no pun intended 😁). It's a moment's indulgence type of fragrance.Definitely one you want to designate for intimate time with your love. I'm not converted. Like I said, it's a devilishly delicious, once in a while kind of treat!! Oh yum!🍫🍪☕💝

This is just as beautiful as promised by the previous reviews. This is bittersweet chocolate heaven. First real chocolate scent in my collection and the first scent I tried after a cold, it's so so cozy and comforting. I don't really notice Mandarin Orange, but I'm quite happy about that, just calming musk and deliciousness. It might not be a super sophisticated or complex perfume, but I have so much fun with this. It's just a little chocolate factory dream. I had home warming chocolate candles like this and always wondered why there is no wearable version of them. Now I have one in the best way possible and will probably eat less chocolate because of it, since it feels like I just had all Christmas candy in one sitting. ;) Avon did really good here (only have one or two other scents from them, so I can't compare much). In love. <3 Please don't discontinue ever.

I simply love this fragrance. It was huge surprise for me! I am not such a big fan of chocolate notes, but this is one exception. It is a sweet fruity fragrance, chocolaty-berry-ish with a vanilla topping. I reach for it very often because it is not over powering and it has a comforting, warm drydown. A delightful sexy fragrance but safe in the same time. Good longevity and performance for the price, I paid 5 euros for it, which is an absolute bargain!

mmmmm yes to chocolate and gourmand perfumes! it is the younger version of Avon's Attraction Game , this one is straight cocoa, chocolate and vanilla!!! unfortunately the lasting power is weak but i will use this before going to bed ,so my man can smell me and eat me like a bar of chocolate 😋🍫 this perfume is perfect for colder days, it can become sickening when worn in hot summer days .

After all the glowing reviews I had to get this one, after all I love gourmand scents, the ones you want to eat your hand because it smells so delicious - well, I`m happy I got this one. I have several Montale chocholate perfumes but I have to say this this smells better than Montale Chocholate greedy.Just so warm, cosy and envelopping. Delicate and mild.

This is such a beautiful chocolate fragrance! I think it's my favourite chocolate scent! So warm and cosy!

So my experience with this scent didn't match up to the many reviews I've read prior to buying it - however, it turned out to be a good thing. I went for a blind buy expecting a confectionary gourmand composition, but also adding in the factor that my skin is capable of transforming even the sweetest gourmands into dry, mature, almost woodsy versions of their original notes. This worked so well with this that it exceeded my expectations. I'm curious whether it's my skin contributing to it or if that note is genuinely missing, but I wonder where is the musk in the pyramid. I definitely sense it - it forms a solid base along with the vanilla, the epitome of softness. It's the kind that smells like clean skin. All the other notes don't exactly stand out to me - the way I experienced it is that it's a very monotonous scent. Musk, vanilla, powder, a moderate dusting of cocoa and a light floral note at the very end. I definitely don't smell any caramel or citrus. It feels like getting out of the shower in an expensive minimalist hotel suite and getting into a queen-sized bed with fluffed up pillows fresh out of the wash, while a cup of hot cocoa is waiting for you on the counter, and you sip on it while doing your makeup using your compact powder case as a mirror. For the small price you pay for it - if we're to count out the modest longevity and sillage - it does actually smell kind of expensive. Very feminine, very soft and warming, great both for everyday use and going out. I can see it better working for colder seasons, but I think I'm going to start wearing it now - maybe on rainy days or breezy evenings. I really do like it that much.

I wish I believed the reviewer who said this smells like Boum Candyland. The comparison is spot-on! I was craving for a mouthwatering chocolate scent and I really wanted this cheapie to be it, but it's not. It smells like chocolate/cocoa upon the first sprays and for the next 20 minutes or so, but then the drydown (which happens rather quickly) is waaay too caramelish for what I expected. And I really dig caramel scents, but I already have a ton of those and wasn't looking for one more. Still, I kept it and right now I have it stored 'cause I think should strictly belong to the autumn/winter rotation (just like its brother from the Boum family).

Thanks for adding this in the database! I bought mine immediately after it was launched, after testing it from the Avon catalog. It's dark chocolate - not milk chocolate - and it is very warm, sexy and cozy. No one can tell you that your perfume costs around 10 euros, based on the smell. (Only the price is cheap.) Soft Musk Delice is safe to wear in the office, and it's great by the fire place in wintertime. Longevity is great. Leaves a beautiful scent on the clothes as well.

Fleur de Chocolate is so delicious. It is not a cloying gourmand, it's so cozy and versatile. Ideal for layering if you want to add a hint of chocolate. It's not sugary or deep cacao, it's sophisticated and flowery, I can't get enough of it. Being an EDT, the longevity is what I expected. It is so intimate. I use this at home or whenever I want to get cozy. It just makes me feel so good!

Bought this for around six dollars. Hey, why not? I’ve been looking for chocolate perfumes. At first I didn’t like it because it was quite tart in the opening which I don’t like. But when it settles it smells like milk chocolate and a little vanilla. Worth trying out for that price! I wish the bottle was prettier though

Bought it because of the chocolate gourmand smell that I initially got while I was testing out some of their perfumes. Unfortunately, the chocolate smell goes away after a maximum of 30 minutes. It doesn't last long, it's not very strong.

This does definitely have cocoa and some slight chocolate undertones. However, it is very faint and overpowered by some synthetic notes mingled with the musk. To be perfectly honest, I don't dislike this scent. I think it is ok for the price and from Avon. It is musky and somewhat smoky woody to me. However, someone close to me told me it smelt exactly like Fledge furniture polish and I can smell the resemblance here. Whilst I do enjoy the smell of furniture polish; I'm not sure if that is the kind of scent I'd like to go for and be remembered by. I'm considering using mine too freshen up my bed sheets etc.

I'm another one of those reviewers who not perceive chocolate coming from this scent at all. It instantly reminded me of BOUM Candy Land. I used to have it and forced to finish it up. The performance is not good, just okay. Now, Candy Land is a dupe for VR's Bonbon, so I guess Avon's Fleur de Chocolat qualifies as a dupe too. BUT, if you really want an alternative to Bonbon, forget all of these scents and just try&buy the DIVAIN clone.

it doesn’t smell as heavy as the chocolate note might make you expect but it’s also far from being a basic floral. it's not overly heavy so it’s wearable year round, though i think it suits cooler weather better. good for the price

I bought it as I was looking for a nice chocolate scent. Unfortunately, it's not what one might have expected. It smells rather soapy and powdery. Definitely not gourmand. Feminine in a way I really dislike. I almost couldn't smell any chocolate here, if it was there, then it was unbelievably faint on my skin. It was extremely inexpensive.

what did I expect from modern Avon? not a rich gourmand at all. Alcohol and then light cheap mostly vanilla with a little cocoa and some orchid or freesia, a bit peppery even; light and barely there, an alcohol floral bomb and a total disappointment

Terrible. Generic. Cheap smelling. Fortunately it fades away quickly so... plus it's Cheap

I'm confused. Not a slice or sliver of citrus or chocolate to be found. Not gourmand at any stage. On my skin this is sadly just sugar, baby powder, and musk. Unrefined and unchanging. P.S. And how is "musk" not even listed in the notes? Can we vote to add it?

Lightly dusted milk choclate truffles! That what I get. Projection is poor but if you over spray on skin it does mix you will get wafts of powdery choclate throughout the day. I was smelling an empty bottle of prada candy this evening, which I adore and it dawned on me that these are not dupes by any means but the powdery note has a familiarity. The prada candy powder note is by far superior, its airy, its dense, its sweet, yet light and has and ability to make you feel uber feminine and light, but there is a powdery quality here too, mixed with a milky chocolate and much less sweetness. This sticks to clothes fantastically and can turn into an almost incense like scent by the end of the day. I over sprayed a coat and could smell something beautiful in my room at the end of the day. I had no idea what it could be. I kept thinking I don't remember spraying Jo malone velvet and Rose oud... What is that scent?! It was this. Jo malone velvet and rose oud has a praline note I believe, so I can only deduce, the powdery choclate truffle became a spicy praline over the course of the day. I'm going to bulk buy as a body spray and try the other soft musks, as this was my first foray and I'm totally intrigued by this £5 line now! Please don't all rush at once, so I get my order in! Just my perceptions by the way, you may get something slightly different as is always the case.

This one was a blind buy for me, after browsing the UK website l got so excited to see this one as l love vanilla/chocolate/gourmand notes in perfumes. After initial burst of alcohol l started to get the nice, sweet dark chocolate scent wit a hint of berry note, so at the point l was really excited that l found a nice affordable chocolate perfume. Unfortunately 10 minutes later the scent of chocolate disappear and fade away, l am left with some sweet fruity scent that reminds me of so many other floral fruity. It last only an hour on my skin, but the best part for me last only a few seconds after spraying than l starts to disappear befor even fully develope. So l was testing it all day yesterday and l decided to keep it to wear at home, however for anyone who crave a chocolate scent l would suggest Al rehab choco musk that is also very cheap but you get so much more chocolate from it. I will also try to layer these two and see how it works.

Really gorgeous scent, the only way I can describe it is soft chocolate with a very soft hint of floral and musky delicate powder, there is something very unique and special about this little scent. I wasnt sure I would like it because I'm not a gourmand lover, I prefer florals, gourmands tend to make me feel a bit dirty and towards the end of the day the scent tends to turn a bit funky, this however is a very very soft chocolate, it's like a soft floral chocolate powder yet somehow it manages not to smell "foody". Overall a really really delicate feminine scent that is addictive, lasts a fair while too but it is subtle, it is a your skin but better type scent. Someone explained this scent as naughty, but I respectfully dont get that vibe atall, to me this is quite an innocent scent, however I could see men being drawn to this and finding it sexy because men tend to like lighter more natural fragrances on a woman, very lovely scent 💗

For the price point, it is a good subtle scent to wear to bed, it works wonders in intimate settings. If you wear this while going out, it dissipates so quickly from skin, but on fabric it leaves a nice intimate hue. A person hugging you will sense it and instantly feel comfortable. Getting to the sour point for most though, the musk here is a powdery vanilla that provides a nice sweet imitation. For me that was a good thing since most musks read animalic to my nose. I don't get the idea of V&R Bonbon with it, nor do I get a noticeable chocolate note despite the name. I try to enjoy it as is, since I used to love the Silky Soft Musk (that one was monstrously outperforming a lot of scents for a cheapie). It reminds me of the smell of their chocolate bath foam if it would have had a bit of cling to skin. My conclusion is that for a cheapie, it performs well, but let's not make it into what it's not.

This was a nice surprise! I don't tend to like chocolate fragrances, thats more my daughters thing. I expected to spray it once and then give it to my daughter. The first chocolate fragrance I had was Avons Extraordinary which was a chocolate/gourmand bomb. I hated it. I recently found my vanity case that I labelled perfumes of shame and there was Extraordinary. I tried it and ..it wasnt as bad as I first thought. Soft Musk Delice is far more wearable, its a light musk with floral notes and a dusting of cocoa powder with a vanilla base. Its well blended and lovely. Delice is the first chocolate fragrance I loved and I keep reaching for it more days than not. I've already repurchased as its so inexpensive.

This perfume is kinda tricky, in my opinion.When it first appeared, I bought it simply because I liked the Soft Musk series, not because of the supposed chocolate smell.Then, a few years later, I was longing for a chocolate perfume, and I bought it again.And while at first I could definitely smell chocolate, then it became...different.Sweet, but not gourmand sweet.I thought it was strange, considering chocolate is the middle note and vanilla the base note, yet this smelled like your typical "sweet flowery smell". I don't dislike it, considering I paid very little for it, but I expected some cozy, chocolatey or at least vanilla perfume, not something that smells like your typical sweet perfume

All reviews here sounded so promessing that I blindly ordered a bottle off ebay. I dont know what I expected but this one is totally not my cup of tea. Initial note, apart from strong alcohol smell are musky and sweet at once a little bit like body odour. Then I was sitting and sniffing my wrist. I had that impression I already knew this smell as Avon likes to change bottles and names, just to bring something old in a new package. And I know now - it is one of Sassy Swirl line. But dont know which one, I had them in my previous life. Dissapointed, expected sonething better. I cannot detect a tiny hint of chocolate.

Bought it for my wife. As others stated there's no mandarin orange in this. Also, I don't detect any chocolate note as the bottle suggests. This is vanilla for women only. Very feminine one-note fragrance. Longevity on my shirt is at least 12 hours. When I sprayed it with Lalique Pour Homme EDP as it has iris, I though chocolate note will pair nicely and that's how I realised Fleur De Chocolate has no chocolate or cacao note in it. But it goes strong on and on while Lalique leaves the show after a few hours and all I get is sweet vanilla of Avon.
