Summer White Rio

Very nice, uncomplicated, juicy sunny summer fragrance. It's already rainy and windy in Finland, summer is gone.. why did I sniff this one! Smells so good and summery. The pine apple notes get a crispier tone from red berries, and everything is well balanced. This is not Escada summer edition, this is softer, like a sunrise in a warm place in summer, very bright, uplifting. Good value for money, if you're looking for a pleasant, tropical scent. Bottle is pretty and yellow the right colour for this perfume.

Rio does smell like Burberry Her, minus the strong musky base which I can't stand in Her. I was looking for a better and cheaper alternative, needless to say I found it! I love this scent, it is young but mature enough, overall a very comforting and berry-ish crowd pleaser.😍 The only downsides are longetivity and projection which are both weak, but you can overspray at this price. Also it is often on sale and you can buy it around 5$ so totally worth it.😊

This is fruitiness to the extreme. It is really similar to Cuba- Too sexy for you, especially in the drydown and on clothes, even though the only common note is jasmine. They also both have a stellar performance for their price range. On this one you can feel the pineapple for like an hour if applied directly on skin, setting a very tropical and beachy vibe. Then there's a sudden burst of fruity stuff, very rich and with a certain dose of artificial sweetness, but not necessarily bothersome. If applied on clothes, the tropical phase is considerably shortened and the fruity splash appears way sooner. Depending for what you're aiming, it can be a very pleasing scent. Definitely casual and unpretentious. Not limited for summer only, but easily adaptable to any season. Best suited for younger crowds, but if you're young at heart and below 50, you can definitely rock this.

It smells better in the bottle than on the skin. Not my vibes, I expected something different. Normally I love all fresh, juicy smells but this one is kinda irritating. I think it's because I smell more flowers than freshness.

At first it's good and then it creates a candy scent that I don't like. That's beginning to sound like a me problem at this point.
