Summer White

I bought this in a charity shop and given my previous experience of Avon scents (I bought a dozen different purse sprays to try!) I was expecting something a little synthetic, a little screechy, almost certain to set off my asthma. However I was so pleasantly surprised with this! It is light and pure freesia with a clean musk, slightly soapy drydown. It's beautiful. It's so hard to capture freesia in a scent, but Avon have done it here. It's not what I expected from the name - 'Summer' makes me think of sun cream and ice cream and fruity cocktails.... but the 'White' here must be the qualifier, representing linen, because it makes me think of the scent of fabric conditioner on bedsheets on the first warm May days. It reminds me a lot of Focus by the Body Shop 25 years ago!

This is one of my top go to scents for a warm day. This perfume is heavenly. I love it! I found it in my mom's collection and used some to check it out and fell in love, it had no labels left on it so I wasn't sure exactly what it was or where I could get it. I asked my mom about it and she said she couldn't remember and so I was super bummed, but that little sneak lied and mom had bought me my own. It is my second favorite scent from AVON ever. I love the jasmine scent. This perfume makes me think clean, pure, cool, and fresh. It is more a daytime scent I think. It also doesn't last hours so if you want to wear it all day you should probably keep it on hand for touch ups. But it lasts just long enough for me. It definitely has a permanent spot in my life.

I've bought quite a few of the bottles of Summer White and have recently bought more in preparation for Summer. It's one of the best clean smelling perfumes Avon have ever released. (I've recently bought Avon Pure, which is basically Pur Blanca watered down. Pure is definitely a "meh!" "is that it?" sort of smell). SW is easily interchangeable with The Body Shops White Musk Body Spray of which I'm into double figures of purchasing. Think of wearing a white cotton shirt, when a cool bit of it falls on hot skin. That's what SW smells like to me. It's a lovely summer refreshing spray that stays on clothes for hours. I've been buying SW online at Notino UK for around £3.49 for 50ml.

Sometimes, you just want to spray a fragrance which has no strong statement. This perfume is also unisex to me. It has no ability or intend to attract people around you. It soothes you with its aldehydic, aquatic notes. I am not able to feel the floral notes. I think anyone who is interested in clean notes, can give a chance to the Summer White.

I really like this Avon perfume surprisingly. I am not a perfume snob and I will try any perfume once from the least to the most expensive, but most of Avon's perfumes I do not care for. This one is actually very nice and refreshing, a very sheer musky type scent, perfect for spring/summer. I think it is discontinued....sadly.

This one came on to me like CK one, only cheaper. That does not take away from the light breezy scent perfect for summer just perfect. This was the only fragrance that reminded me of "Panache" a Launtheric (spell incorrectly of course) but that's why I bought it....has it been discontinued?

I totally love this perfume! one down side, it doesn't take on for so long.

It smells kind of nice (like D&G White Blue), but a little cheap and short-lasting. I got a bottle of this recently and I did a shameful thing.. mixed up with a remainder of my CK One, and added a bit of Sisley Eau de 2 and a dash of Ajmal Unveil. What I got, was a superb summer scent that comes in layers and is so far working as a perfect summer perfume. I guess it starts as a cologne and works down to a rich, sweet shawl by the end of the day.

One of the cheapest indeed. Mom gave it to me as a present years ago. If i must be honest, there is something about it that reminds me of the sea shore, the summer wind and everything related to sea. I dont know why all vote for flowers and stuff..There is hint of a citrus, but thats all... :)

This is super fresh and reminds me of clean line dried laundry in the summer. it also smells a bit like soft lemonade on ice, very pretty and light :) I like it a lot but it does not last very long and the sillage is very soft.

Very fresh...maybe a little loo fresh! I expected it was more soft and sweet...but it's not bad; it somehow makes me think about babies'products! So if you want to feel clean and cute, try it! :)

It opens with a blast of citruses, then it comes the musk and freesia. I didn't like at first, it was too chemical for me, but now it's really pleasing. I am glad I still have it.

It is one of the nicest presents I got, it seems my friend knows me really well. Clean, pure and refreshing, like a lake in the morning.

I loved this perfume when i was a teenager. It’s similar with Light Blue DG

safe to say it smells frutiger aero

This perfume is giving off 2000’s office vibes for me. It is not very distinct and blends into the background. Smells fresh and airy without giving off any specific notes. It also gives off frutiger aero vibes. If you want something calm and refreshing this might be the fragrance for you.

Fresh clean scent, but it doesn't do a lot. It does the opposite of packing a punch. I layer it with Do Not Disturb by Sol de Janeiro and it does a little bit of something for a little while.

After two Summer White scents I liked, this one was disappointing. Blast of alcohol, then soap.
