Surreal Ocean

It was made for Brazil, but probably is being sold on hotter countries, since it is definitely a summer scent. Surreal Ocean is a deceivingly subtle scent, it is not a bombshell but is felt in a 3 ft area, as a cool summer breeze. On me it lasts for 10 hours in the height of summer (100F and over) without making anyone sick and even reducing a bit the heat oppression.It is nothing like VS scents, it is not overly sugary or cloying, a perfume (one of the few) wearable in intense summer , like Eau des Minimes and Light Blue . It also is nothing like Rock on me, it smells of the ocean its salty waters and sand, a very light gardenia giving some sweetness that make me think of suntan lotion (very different but in the same vibe of Bronze Goddess). A masterpiece.

First blast is PURE mandarin juice. Fruity, zesty, bright. After the first couple of minutes, you can get the apple. Sweet, juicy apple. The coral reef note is basically a 'calone', 'ozonic' note. I notice that most oceanic or aquatic scent has that Cool Water spirit, and that one is not different, but THANK GOOD, is does not have that sweetness. Is aquatic-fruity. The Gardenia is basically nonexistent on this one. Could be easily a Victoria Secret's Body Spray or a Jennifer Lopez beach themed scent. I hoped for more of a surreal aura, but what i got was a usual sporty fragrance, designed for women. Not bad (great, actually), but nothing new. Safe for gifts.

I Cannot review this one properly as I do not own it but pease, if anyone does know where to get it I would be grateful as I love Surreal and Surreal Garden.
