Velvet Imari

This is very soft--the definition of a "skin scent". That said, what I can smell (nose-to-wrist) is a pleasant sweet powder, almost like confectioner's sugar. It feels dry and clean and warm, and perfectly inoffensive (some would say boring). My bottle is the spooky opaque black alien-looking thing--totally at odds with the gentle scent inside!

I really like this; amber, rose, and musk are prominent with vanilla adding a hint of sweetness.

Ive got only middle note similar to lañcome tressor then its start spicy.. when it came to based note tottaly amber vanila spicy and cloying on my skin. Mine batch 2010 made in philipine base on avon Asia mostly production from Thailand and philipine. Unless old batch OG far away, far away gold' Rare gold and TTA range all made in poland. Avon malaysia very limited covered for perfume range.

I didn't think it was possible for me to not love an Imari scent. Seduction is my favorite perfume, and Blossom, Mystique and the original are all wonderful. I was excited to find this on ebay, but when I received it and sprayed it on my wrist, the musk was overwhelming and the perfume itself was underwhelming at best.

Velvet Imari is nothing like the original Imari, which I love. It smell like a typical old-lady perfume mixed with candies. The amber is too much to handle and I could not detect any rose or citrus.

i was able to purchased this one yesterdaqy and im quite impress and what the heck am i thinking not to avail this a long time ago? this is a great edc with medium sillage and longevity but who cares? some of my expensive perfumes fail to even last for 30 minutes. this smells like my mother's facial cream when i was i child in the 90's but in a very good way that im addicted to smell everynow and then. if modern fruity-floral fragrances are executed in a very ladylike way like imari velvet... huh...

I still have it, because I have used just a little bit. I loved it, though have not used it for many years. My bottle is like the original Imari, but black, 35ml cologne. I do not like the original, this one is very pleasant spicy oriental.

This one was medium lasting.Ambery,floral,very nice scent.Nothing like the new ones,that are terrible.I liked it more than the original Imari.Would still purchase if available.Loved it.

Up date the Imari Satin was even better than this one but still in the same range.Amber,Flowers,oriental.
