Wild Country

My bedtime fragrance lol. This perfume is labled as "for women", and indeed it is (plus I'm male). The scents are so thick that I can barely discern the listed notes. I first bought it for the "wild flowers" notes that I thought might be elegantly thin, and it slapped my face with its overwhelmingly thick florals. Wild flowers huh? Probably tons of flowers compressed together. The initial phase resembles floral wine, and the base notes are powdery and much milder. That said, I like this potent bedtime fragrance still since it brilliantly fulfilled its duty. By the way, it's not an ideal scent for men to wear. ----- update: more likely than not it's discontinued as I can't find a single bottle of this wild country series online. update 2: after oxidation (or maceration as some may prefer), this scent has really mellowed. Upon application I can discern tea (more a notion) and vetiver beside flowers. It's fresher and more country-like.

The two main things that stood out to me the moment I smelled it was it doesn't smell like the edc version of wild country or their deodorants atleast in the initial spray and its also kinda reminding me of Ysl Y edp for some reason. When I first sprayed it, I got the Y edp scent profile without the sharp green apple. After awhile it does show the edc wild country smell that I remember but its only up close. I guess to my nose, in the air, this is a more ambery less sharp Y edp. Not really a bad thing cause that smells pretty good as well. Performance wise, the edc has it beat on projection but this lasts slightly longer than the edc for sure. Overall, not a bad scent for the price. Simple and useful for most occasions.

I blind bought this because the lack of reviews had me intrigued. This is a pleasant little scent. I get a lot of the tea and citrus notes, with a dash of cardamom. Amber is definitely present as well, bringing it all together. I have a large collection so will be parting with this one, but it is nice if you like tea notes. Though it is not the most exciting, it seems refreshing for warmer months and it is worth checking out for a different take on tea.

Edit: Gucci Envy! That’s what this reminds me of! A generous member gifted me this scent and I must admit I’m happily surprised by this Avon fragrance! Very pleasant, easy to wear floral/citrus/tea. The wildflowers and lime are lead ingredients on me. Definitely something I’ll wear again and again. It reminds me of another scent I’ve loved, and will add later to this review if I can recall it.

When I first sprayed the perfume, I smelled a very high-quality and sharp scent, Then woody notes followed. The perfume is nice, but the sillage is not good. Also, the longevity wasn't as good as I expected.

Smells like red berries. Sweet and long lasting. I do not get any association with wild country or cowboys,but it smells nice. Good for the price.

I like this perfume because it has a unique scent. It lasts between 3-5 hours and is suitable for a daytime perfume. :)

One of the better fragrances from Avon. It's worth it for the price, has nice scent.

Sexy, Seductive and Relaxing scent!

at first when you get this perfume its going to smell very nice but over time its going to become really boring,the longevity is medium lasts about 5 6 hours on me the sillage is poor but i guess for like 10 dollars its not quite bad,its a good gift for a kid,its a pretty safe perfume but there are other better perfumes even in the same price range, But i still recomend it because its an aromatic perfume its a warm cozy perfume when you smell it you feel safe and comfortable I give this fragrance a 6.5/10 i recomend this for people who are on a tight budget and wants a warm aromatic perfume.

It smells like the bottle. Which I don't like. But some people might like it. It is a boozy fragrance that has a very weak amber. It is not like you can't smell amber it is just so weak in being an amber. It doesn't last longer than 1-1.5 hours and it literally has 0 projection even from the start. Opening fades away within 10 minutes. Gifted it to someone.

Avon's Wild country is(in)famous for its many fascinatingly offbeat novelty bottles, ...but I sample here from an original bottle-shaped bottle. More precisely, it's something like a captain's ship decanter with an embossed bullshead logo on the side. The original Avon Wild Country from the 1960s to the 70s (or 80s?), smells remarkably similar to Coty Musk for Men from the same era. If done today, one of them would probably be pointlessly branded a dupe. Both smell primarily of honeyed amber and nitromusk. Wild Country may be a tad more powdery. It's a remarkably pleasurable and soothing scent profile, ...and of a kind that is simply not being made today. Highly recommended. I'll post this on both of the current Wild Country pages, because this original formula seems to differ considerably from the listed notes given for either.

im 100% sure my teacher wears this and it's off putting but its a nice sweet scent in the mens version as well.

Luxurious scent for gentlemen. It smells unique and original. Day- time and Night- time.
