Wild Country Rush

Got this as soon as I tried the shower gel from the same collection, it felt really good from the first use and I went blindly and grab the cologne. Yes, it's not that complicated and for the price, it is actually pretty good and it also close to the body. It's better than you'd think, I was surprised in a good way, there is some quality to it and it's also fresh and boozy and even sweet in some proportion. It is rather original and I wear it at least once a week when I feel that I really don't need to be very serious about everything, when I want something pleasing that makes me feel even better for cheap ;)

Fragrantica has a completely different notes list from some other sites. Here it is bergamot, cardamom and whiskey, but elsewhere it is black pepper, lavender and cedar. I second Fragrantica this round. The scent is sweeeeeeeet. Exactly like bay berry preserve with tons of sugar. EXACTLY. But I like this gourmand, as a bedtime scent. Horrible projection as usual, but mediocre longevity. Definitely unisex (I actually believe it leans more to feminine). Bay berry preserve! Got this after the wild country (2004) ran out. (Ordered a new bottle but received a 2-handed one. F*ck. That's a another story anyway)

My boyfriend said this smells like ice tea mixed with whiskey. I'm confused. Blind bought this because I used the two previous versions ( original brown colored and the blue one think it was was called freedom or something). At first spray it smells like alcohol and not a fragrance. But after 2-3 minutes it has a spicy classic masculine blend with a little sweetness. But zero sugar. Spiced sweetness. As it dries more and more sweetness decreases and it smells similar to the original version of itself. But after hours it is more dry, sweetness is almost completely gone and more masculine, dry, woody, spicy accord that very generic and usual. Performs very different on clothes vs the skin. On clothes it smells a bit more bitter and woody. Sweetness shows itself more on the skin. I use it with the Avon soft vanilla body spray that has vanilla and sandalwood in it which is a bit more sugary, candle-like smell. Together they smell better a sweet, toned, spicy unisex smell.
