Kilo

I'm an 80s baby. In the 90's, I was living in England and after showering from playing sports, if someone had a can of this, we'd pester them to pass it around because we wanted to smell good to the girls after rugby and football. Some of us would hide their Kilo spray and only share it with our close friends. We'd take turns in buying a new one so it was fair. Later I moved back to the States. Eventually here, Lynx was branded as Axe and the same phenomenon occurred during my middle school and high school. I had brought back a few cans (or had some sent to me) initially until it became available here. Kilo though discontinued, is one of the most iconic scents of many lives in school. It only got a bad reputation because of being overused (and the advertising). Still, if you were the only or one of few wearing it, you'd be noticed...in a good way...by women. I almost want to buy some just to have it as a backup incase I find a fragrance that works well with it today. I'd probably prefer the body wash if I do decide to do that though. It's much more easier to just lather and rinse as a last thing before getting out of the shower than using as a deodorant. Plus you can control using it better that way.

I mean, as many before this have said, Axe is generally trash. Well, you like what you like, and I'm sorry but I loved this, and it was the only Axe scent that I loved and regularly bought. Kilo IMO just had more quality than all of the other Ace garbage. Now I haven't bought it or even smelled it in at least 15 years, but I live in Australia now and I don't think it would be available because I would buy this just to have it if I could. How much does this shit cost nowadays? Pocket change probably. I was talking to my partner about Lynx which I guess is the Aussie equivalent of Axe, and was trying for the life of me to remember which Axe was the only one I liked so I jumped on the google-machine and Voila, Kilo. Apparently "Africa" from Lynx is very similar, so I'll have to check it out when I see it.

A lot of Axe scents are not good, and obnoxious, especially if oversprayed...BUT this one smells great and I've NEVER worn it without getting a compliment! It really is a beautiful scent. I'm not sure it's a basil note...it's more like mint...the overall scent of this deo/spray reminds me of the smell of when I've burned Palo Santo (minus the dill smells) wood in my home: a minty, smooth woody scent. I haven't bought or worn it in a long time, but writing this review is making me thinking I might keep some handy for variety. Nowadays I'm obsessed with middle eastern scents.

When Axe was first introduced in America in the early 2000's, my mother bought me a can of this just to try, and it has remained one of my favorite fragrances ever since. It's on my short-list of favorite fragrances; fresh, slightly spicy, warm, and masculine, without being overly obnoxious. I was really sad to see Axe's products being subject to overuse by teens, because now I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit wearing this in public. :-(

This is nostalgia forever. My first axe scent while my older brothers was essense, I only chose this because of the green color logo. 4th or 5th grade made my long time best friend say I smelled amazing. Then became a girlfriend for many years later. 10/10. I don't care what anyone says, this is a scent I appreciate very much and adore from initial spray to the drydown.

Loved this frag when I was younger before I got into cologne. Unfortunately it's discontinued but I did find a replacement. Once it dries down, Spicebomb Night Vision EDP is extremely close to kilo which is why it's my signature scent now. NV is a little more grown up but still has that youthfulness of kilo that I enjoyed in my teen years.

Fresh, clean, powdery, very very nice scent, not nearly as piercing and intrusive as most axe scents.

This is good. Actually good. Does the mere mention of - "Axe body spray" automatically translate into - "fumigation from adolescent oversprayers"? 100%. Does that negate the potential merits of Axe sprays? Well...it shouldn't. As a reviewer of all things fragrant, it's not fair of me to neglect Axe things I've smelled, and I've smelled this one a lot. So...that that being said, this is actually quite soft once it dries (the opening of all of these are horrid). It ABSOLUTELY DOES bear a resemblance to Eros. And I actually enjoy Eros on myself, which means... Oh God. I'd probably wear Kilo 😂 It's fresh. It's minty. It's plushy vanillic lavender and clean musk. Slightly unisex, still somewhat masculine, but about 60% to the male side of the bell curve. It's the kind of guy fragrance you can easily bum sprays of (wear whatever you like, to be fair, lots of female stuff smells fantastic on men). This is nice, my husband has had it and I always have considered it quite soft. It's not too sweet, but it's a little sugared.

As much as I hate Axe body spray along with many many others cause all I think of when I hear the name or smell it ( mostly the Phoenix one) it's instantly takes me back to my high school locker room where it always reeked of Axe everyday no matter what. That being said Kilo was always my favorite back in the day cause it really does smell amazing. I wish there was a real mens cologne that smelled like this cause I'd definitely buy it. I always had this and the deodorant and just loved it everytime I used it. Doesn't last long at all ( hence the major overspraying back in the day) it does Bring back memories but I still hate Axe.

When I used to buy axe, or any variety of body spray, this was my favourite. It even garnered compliments. Funny enough I still have a completely unused can in my shaving cabinet. This was a sweet woody kind of fragrance, not a far cry from some clubbing style fragrances of today. It’s interesting to think back on the five year run or so in the late 90’s when body spray was the fragrance alternative of choice. Lots of variety, pretty solid performance, and in recall thinking I smelt pretty good. Another thing I recall was that the body spray was sticky, probably contributing to the strength. Definitely a different time.

I got this for a gift way back in 2006 before I was "in" to fragrances. I used to call it "Honey Boy" cuz it reminded me of a dark, earthy honey. It was a sweet, pungent honey vibe. My ex complimented this one and so did my step-dad.

Axe Kilo smells very similar to Versace Eros. I can't believe I'm the only one who noticed this. Can someone please do a comparison? Anyway, it smells very good, and you can still pick it up at Walmart.

This is the only Axe scent that I have come across so far that I actually enjoy. It has a vanilla-lime kind of vibe... pretty refreshing. Not horrible.

S-Exquisite scent, very green and fresh just like my hand after photosynthesis. Smells like the mold that has been growing in my adopted son's room (trust me I did not take this child as hostage). Very recomendiddy

First time I had to ask another dude what cologne he had on. It smelled familiar, and expensive. They hit the jackpot with this one. My wife is ready to denounce new scents on the grounds that I have too many, regardless of how she really feels. (She said The One smelled bad when i first bought it. But compliments it every time i have worn it since. She ceded on this one. Said it smells pretty good despite being angry I bought it.

I went through countless numbers of bottles of this stuff in High School. It was long lasting and always got me,compliments from students and teachers alike. I recently saw it at Wal-Mart and sprayed a little for old time's sake. Still amazing! I almost had to purchase a bottle.

Just used this smells nice reminds me of thierry mugler pure havanne definitely doesnt smell like the notes posted i get a honey tobacco not as complex as the pure havanne but definitely a nice light soft honey tobacco really digging it not offensive like most axe spray

The best Axe! lol I loved this growing up and it proved my affinity for lavender/vanillic-type scents that I still love to this day. Sweet and fresh with that strong soothing and welcoming lavender, great for teens.

I used to wear the deodorant stick (antiperspirant) I loved it. It went well with most of the perfumes I wore. But it no longer exists, which is a bummer.

So upsetting that this fragrance was discontinued. it was the best axe scent in my opinion i used to wear it every day back in middle school lol!

Smells fantastic, I love the vanilla. I was shocked when I saw that CVS had it in-stock, since it seems to be the rarest of all the Axe's.

This smells amazing. I would wear this daily as casual. I wish I could find this fragrance in a eau de toilet..
