Axis Diamond Lovely

Another successful blind buy for me! It was difficult to find any reviews on this one so I'm going to add mine to help those of you who thinks about buying Diamond... Diamond Lovely is... well, lovely. It's not another Viva La Juicy dupe, don't be fooled by the notes. For the first few minutes it's spicy and herbal (!), there's a note that I can't name but smells a tad medicinal- in a sweet, syrupy way. And then: peaches and plum accompanied by some flowers, but it's mainly sweet fruits perhaps on the edge of being overripe. I can hardly detect patchouli in base notes, on my skin it's mainly amber and herbal vanilla. Lasts for +/- 7h so not too bad.

Diamond Lovely first goes on smelling exceptionally like Si Lolita, minus the peppery hit. Such a pure delight to find as that's one of my faves! No licorice in this like in many of the Lolita perfumes but then, I can't recall if Si Lolita had a licorice note or not. After a while it transforms subtly into a smell much akin to Chanel Allure and I think maybe that's down to the peach, orange blossom and vanilla but with some extra spice thrown in. The sillage is pretty heavy, although the longevity is average, about four hours. I found a 100ml bottle for £7.99 at 'The Perfume Shop' and couldn't be more delighted with it being a blind buy! I must note how absolutely gorgeously glam and not in the slightest bit tacky the bottle is.....it looks expensive and I highly recommend the sexy juice inside!

Cute bottle with interesting notes. Think it will be a perfect spring perfume. Will buy it for sure.
