Lovender

126 This was a comforting bedtime and warm weather scent for me. It's tart, sweet, creamy, floral lavender, with a light powdery sandalwood base. The sweet creamy vanilla with the lavender and lemon almost creates a coconut note- a little tropical feel. I wish Ayala didn't leave the continent. It's very expensive ($120/15-ml) for what it is (simple but lovely) and I am going back and forth whether I want it, as it ships from Israel. I am looking for an alternative with this exact combination of notes with more projection and longevity. Then I'll decide if I want to purchase this again. 8/10-for scent, Overpriced. Would not repurchase.

Lovender's lavender is not the vibrant herbal lavender. It is the floral lavender that is often featured in masculine fragrances. This contrast makes for an interesting mix with the cuddly base of creamy vanilla, warm iris and soft sandalwood. It also has a very faint plastic-y note which I enjoy. Lovender is a very beautiful creation that I think lavender haters would enjoy too because there is much more to it than the lavender and the iris/vanilla/sandalwood are also dominant. I think this leans slightly unisex. A guy can pull this off and women will be drawn to it like moths to a flame! Like most of her scents, the projection is very weak. For the price, this is unfortunate. Yes, I know it is all natural but I have a lot of natural perfumes with amazing projection and longevity. Just saying.

Soft, warm and semi-sweet. The lavender is not strong on me and I was hoping for a little kick. Smells youthful. Would recommend on the basis you aren't hoping for something very lavender. Stand-out notes for me are orris root, sandalwood and vanilla.
