Musk Areej

Honestly, one of my best blind buys ever. I bought it cheaply from Amazon last fall, just from reading the notes. I smelled it, liked it, and forgot all about it until now. I don't know if it needed those months to mature, but I just tried some on my arm this morning, and I can still smell it. It's such a sexy, intense, sweet yet deep and perfectly balanced fruity floral with a hint of musk. It makes me feel young. Perfect for summer nights.

I wondered whether as a raspberry musk this might be similar to Hypnotic Musk by M.Micallef but it's not at all. This is a very deep, dusky and juicy raspberry with a little bit of watery freshness from the lychee and peony. The rose doesn't stand out making this more of a rosy fruit fragrance than a fruity rose. It is similar to Angel Nova, but even more raspberry loaded, with a touch of Armafs Maleka in the background and topped with a scoop of dark raspberry mousse! The raspberries are dessert like and mouth-watering and the whole fragrance projects well and lasts for hours. A very good bargain and nice blind buy. Raspberry lovers take note! 🩷

Like Sammbac, I blind bought this after reading Markéta Rybínová's article about it. On the one hand, it was a slight disappointment when I realized the rose is really not very prominent in this perfume. On the other hand, I love this! A juicy raspberry musk with absolutely colossal perfurmance. Four sprays and it's enveloped me in a delightful, potent bubble that lasts around 6-8 hours. I've only owned it for a week and wonder if there will be any evolution of the scent after it matures a little. To be continued!

Sweet and powdery, like those powdery candies. It’s like a little raspberry rose heavily dusted with powdered sugar. It bears no resemblance to Rose Ameerat, which is sharp, tart, and a bit pungent.
