This creates a fascinating tension: it's as if a lively, sweet fruity-floral composition is encased within a powerful, enveloping embrace of rich wood, leather and amber. While this gives the perfume a strong character, it does tend to diminish the playful brightness of the fruit and floral elements, shifting the overall impression. This powerful base steers Al Maha towards being more of an evening fragrance, perhaps best suited for a mature wearer.
