This fragrance is for those who appreciate intense, smoky oud and rose fragrances, particularly fans of Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade. Upon first application, I immediately recognized it as a interpretation of that celebrated scent profile, but not a clone. Bedouin by Azha offers a beautiful and sophisticated twist with a sweeter, more boozy opening that accentuates the raspberry note. Its composition also evokes the character of Dior's Oud Ispahan. The scent is a powerful and complex blend of oud, rose, smoke, sweet resins, and a very prominent leather note. The leather is a central element of this fragrance, and an affinity for this particular accord is essential for its enjoyment. The perfume is ambery, opulent, and unequivocally unisex. This is not a versatile fragrance. Its heavy, rich, and dominating nature makes it unsuitable for those seeking a light, casual perfume. It is instead designed for a confident, mysterious, and unapologetic individual. The oud possesses a slightly animalic and dank quality, which I personally find appealing, but this characteristic confirms that it is not a recommended blind buy. Its performance is truly impressive. It boasts massive projection and leaves a substantial sillage. The scent endures for days on clothing and easily lasts an entire day on the skin. I will be wearing this on cold winter nights, applying it with a very light hand to prevent it from overwhelming those around me.

I was looking for a leather scent, and this randomly popped up and sounded perfect. It’s not as sweet and rosy as I wanted it to be, it’s leather, rum, and dates to my nose, but it’s not screechy like most ME perfumes and the rum note settles down a lot after just a few minutes. I also bought Baklava and Arabian Tea House at the same time and I truly loved all three. This may be my new favorite cheapie house.
