The correct notes for this are as follows: Top- Incense, Cinnamon Middle- Orris Base- Myrrh, Oudh, Vanilla, Amber, Musk The bottle has also changed to red and gold. You'll see that wherever it is sold. It is described as being for women but by the notes alone this is unisex. Straight down the line, imo. After wearing it that was confirmed. Some women will find it masculine leaning or masculine but I don't think any man will find it feminine leaning. I still think it's unisex. If you like sweet scents or fruity florals I can see how it reads or would smell masculine but I love spice and incense also and won't wear masculine leaning scents because my skin will amplify the masculine aspect. I got this Nov. 16th. Spraying it fresh off arrival the opening smelled like gasoline. I could then pick up the cinnamon and all the base notes. Over the next two weeks I sprayed this here and there. That gasoline opening is really a high pitched myrrh. To my nose and on my skin the myrrh is LOUD. The cinnamon is hyping it up. I don't get any incense or orris. Then it dives into the base notes with the myrrh receding and the oud amber and musk coming forward. The oud is clean. In the dry down it smells like an oud and myrrh musk. It's sensual. I searched and searched to see if it was duping anything. I found nothing. I'm kind of excited about that. I buy dupes but I'm picky. I also enjoy finding an original scent. At a certain point I was reminded of Nightfall Patchouli but take the patchouli out and replace it with oud. That may have been my nose playing tricks on me. Note, I'm not saying it smells exactly like that. I was reminded of it. If anyone with more fragrance knowledge knows if this is duping anything let me know. As for performance I got 8 hours out the box with moderate sillage. I bought 2 bottles blind and this turned into a win for me. I was worried in the beginning, lol. It'll be a long time before I run out but I will repurchase. Sidenote: After two weeks this perfume has gotten better but I don't believe in buying a perfume in hopes that it will get better over time. All perfumes age and change after spraying. If I don't like what I'm smelling after letting the scent fully dry down it's not good enough, point blank. Even after the wonky gasoline opening on my first wear the middle and dry down saved it from being given away. And I did repeat wearings to understand what I was smelling. People have bottles they won't touch for months but nothing in life is for certain. Every perfume, for the most part, will get better with age. You deserve to enjoy good things now. 12/20/25 It's taking everything in me not to buy a third bottle. A month has passed and it smells so freaking good! I'm getting more sweetness from the vanilla and amber but it's not too much. Still unisex. Unexpected increase of adoration for this scent. I feel like I'm keeping a secret because not a lot of people will see this review. This is a special one to me.
