#93 of My Fragrance Journey - Aziri Paris Granita: A feeling, not a statement Honeydew, cut open at peak ripeness. That's it. That's the whole opening. I didn't expect to take it seriously. Granita felt like a concept you enjoy briefly and forget - something playful, maybe even a little naïve. A dessert, bottled. I picked it up expecting to put it down. Then it opened, and everything narrowed to that one note. Not the vague aquatic melon that floats through synthetic summer scents. This is specific. Wet, green, almost translucent. The sweetness is there, but it's airy - like juice evaporating in heat rather than sitting in it. It doesn't try to be complex. It just feels real. And that realism changes something about how you wear it. It sits close to the skin like the temperature itself. Warm air, bare arms, sunlight that stays longer than expected. There's a brightness that feels almost emotional - cheerful without being loud, relaxed without being lazy. You start associating it with a certain kind of day. The kind that doesn't rush you. That's where the granita idea starts making sense. Not as a literal dessert - as a sensation. Crushed ice is melting too quickly. Sweetness is diluted just enough to stay refreshing. A moment that exists to be enjoyed, not preserved. Something intentionally fleeting. And fleeting is the word. For the price, performance is restrained. It doesn't project loudly or hold the way you might expect from niche luxury. It lingers softly, then fades before you're ready. Some will find that disappointing. Others might read it as the whole point - a cool indulgence that was never meant to outlast the afternoon. The opening isn't entirely flawless either. There's a brief moment, just seconds, where the brightness tips into something slightly synthetic. A flash of that familiar air-freshener sharpness. It passes quickly - but it's there. And depending on your skin, the sweetness that follows can feel a touch too eager, too luminous before it settles. But it never becomes heavy. Despite everything fruit-forward about it, it stays light on its feet. No syrup, no density. Just clean, juicy clarity that keeps resetting your senses. I kept coming back to that melon note. How precise it is. How quietly addictive it becomes once you stop questioning it and just let it be what it is - one perfectly rendered moment of summer, held briefly against the skin. Some fragrances ask to be taken seriously. This one just asks if a single feeling, rendered honestly, is enough. Vibe: Honeydew and heat. A day with nowhere to be. Performance: Soft. Intimate. Gone before you're ready - which is either the flaw or the point. Fit: For someone who values precision over projection. Wear it close and don't overthink it. I've already posted my review down below, but I feel the need to post again about it again since I've now been wearing it for almost a month. It has fast became a staple in my collection. It's sweet, fruity and juicy, fun and energizing! The notes I pick up the most are; It 100% smells like a melon dessert, it's like a fruity gourmand to my nose. It could definitely be worn all year around in my opinion, but will for sure be incredible in the spring and summer, but I'll wear it all year round!! Unfortunately it's not that long lasting on my skin, but my bottle is brand new and the fragrance is pretty new so it might get better with time. However wince the scent itself is so delicious I'm gonna give it a pass lol! If you love scents like Narco Oasis, Happy Dust, HOS Hufflepuff, HOE Minnie Mouse, and those type of fruity scents, you need to try this one. I got my bottle like a month ago and I've already used it A LOT 🤭 I'm so happy to have this one in my collection! 😍tely it's not that long lasting on my skin, but my bottle is brand new and the fragrance is pretty new so it might get better with time. However since the scent itself is so delicious I'm gonna give it a pass lol, also it's still winter where I live so it probably will perform much better in the summertime 🌞 If you love scents like Narco Oasis, Happy Dust, HOS Hufflepuff, HOS Minnie Mouse, and those type of fruity candy like scents, you need to try this one. I also think it will layer beautifully with all my other summer fragrances. I'm so happy to have this one in my collection! 😍

Granita is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a fun, fresh, super realistic, honeydew melon scent with the perfect amount of sweetness. I do get some other fruits along with a little caramel, although the melon note is the star of the show. To me this is an ice cream knickerbocker glory with chunks of delicious, fresh honeydew melon with some caramel fudge chunks through it. I don’t get any coconut personally. I’m actually so obsessed with this scent, I instantly had to buy it. This is happiness in a bottle. It’s mood enhancing, energising, uplifting and relaxing. This will be amazing in the heat of summer, but I’d still wear this in spring and autumn. The longevity isn’t great. I do only get around 2 ish hours of wear before I need to top up, but I don’t care because I adore it. I feel it’s overpriced for this reason though, but it’s still one of the few perfumes in my collection I know I will repurchase again and again. I wasn’t keen on the brands other scent (Fragola) but can’t wait to see what they release in the future! 100% agree with the person below, this has fast become a no.1 favourite of mine too! 10/10! If you enjoy this, you should also check out "Scottatura” by Gleam. I nearly passed on Granita because I own Scottatura. They are both different scent profiles, but with very similar vibes. Scottatura is an aloe Vera scent and is just divine! It’s another top summer favourite for me.

Oooooh....yummy!! Fruity (especially that tantalizing melon note), and gourmand as well. There’s caramel and vanille as well as a hint of coconut on my skin... This is a tropical-ish scent but not sunscreen or tropical florals. This is more like a tropical sweet treat...at least, to my nose. Not a bomb of a perfume though. It’s pretty close to the skin and almost shy. Later on, this becomes more of a skin scent that reminds me of a scented eraser I once had when I was young. It’s blurry in my memories because I was a child a loooooong time ago, but this elusive scent is right here on my wrist 😆 and I am not saying this as a critic at all because I love it!! I’ll come back later to describe the dry down but as of right now, it’s a beautiful scent for fruity/gourmand lovers...
