Azzaro Aqua Verde

Stunning! The best from the Azzaro Aqua range, maybe the best from Azzaro house. The notes are so well blended and compliment each other perfectly. The touch of lavender with the galbanum sitting close by make this fragrance almost of niche quality. I might be wrong but I also smell a very faint pungent-like aroma like that of the bud of the marijuana plant. It makes the scent almost hypnotic and alluring. It maybe faint but it never dissipates; always sitting underneath the fresh green layers of vetiver and light cedar. Was this a note not mentioned, maybe? scent 8/10 longevity 7.5/10 sillage 5/10 (the only let down)

This is a very clean and decent fragrance. Not pricey at all, so a bang for the buck. It has a nice 1st whiff of greenery of all sorts, it even reminded a little bit the smell of cannabis to me, but mixed with other stuff. There is no perceived citrus on it, nevertheless it is pretty fresh. Not overpowering and not that long lasting, smells great for anytime of the day and with any weather. I will probably try the Aqua - blue bottle too.

I don't like Azzaro pour homme, but I love this one : green, aromatic and woody, fresh, clean and nice.Very different from the star fragrances of this brand. You can wear it when you want, where you want : a classic and all road perfume. well done. 8/10

Just got a new bottle after 10 years my last one ended. What a unique smell! Love it. It is so green fresh and smells a bit like cannabis. Delicious. Alternately you can get Montblanc Legend edt or edp which are very similar.

Don't go by the notes listed on this. I'm not getting any cedar or vetiver from this. What I DO get is violet leaf blending with a nice lavender for an aromatic with some subdued white florals, green apple, a bit of bergamot, and a light galbanum. The galbanum is not prominent, but it gives some depth and heft that separates this from so many blue-type freshies. There are some similarities to Fierce, but they are not identical in any way. I do not in any way get the comparison to Guerlain Eau Boisee, which has a mint, lime, vetiver and woods combined in a French style - but to each his/her own. This isn't groundbreaking, but it is a nice twist on a popular theme; and as most people have never even heard of it, you won't smell like the rest of the pack.

It smells very green and fresh, and not in the way you would normally expect from lavender or vetiver. It's very dry. It is mostly linear but lasts for at least 8 hours. The first half is an almost ozonic grass smell that projects pretty well. A few women couldn't place it and said it smelled like hairspray. Not the effect I was going for so maybe don't overspray this one. That killed my "office safe" interpretation of it. The drydown is a nice earthy smell, which is where the cedar and nutmeg show up. It's close to Fierce, which is going to be around longer than this stuff. People thought this was discontinued a year ago and the prices went up for a few months. As far as dry woody Azzaro's go I think Visit does it better.

Blind bought a 75ml of this stuff on clearance for $19.99 at Marshalls. Smells a whisper like Alfred Dunhill(Dunhill Man)...must be the vetiver and cedar notes they share. I don't love it because it fades very quickly, and overall doesn't seem to strive to be that exciting. Good for the office or summer probably Edit...just obtained Azzaro Sport and it's close to this, but with better longevity(they both have lavender) but Sport is a touch soapier.

Bought this after reading the reviews on this site, and damn happy that I did. Different elements of this make it work well in different weather. It's warm dry down is great for cooler weather, and it's rather green smell is perfect for spring. It reminds me SLIGHTLY of Davidoff Goodlife, which scores it even more points in my book.

just bought it for $10 (I'm a girl) and it smells identical to fierce by abercrombie but starts with a mire green vibe. lasts on skin for 6+ hrs but the projection is missing vs. fierce. TOTALLY WORTH IT! GET IT

Clean and very nice. A bit of a deja-vu, though. I could not have it on my skin because I was wearing something eles when I tried it, but I'll come back here to add to the review.

This fragrance is a very nice scent for the office to wear during the day. It is not overpowering or too strong. Very nice! This purchase was a pleasant surprise!

The recommendations are surprising, this is not much like Fierce or Cologne to me. It’s nice but I was expecting more green. I guess I looked at the bottle and imagined more spring. This is a fruity woody reminding me of a Dsquare Wood-variant. Like someone said, there’s a violet in this(!). I also smell this raspy/smokey aspect too. This is impossible for me to pinpoint what it is, but it’s a distorting ”note” that is in Paco Xs and Herrera for men too even though they don’t share any official notes. Give a veil of retro damp covering the ”clean” notes. It is not unpleasant but it does take the clean aspect down a notch. I guess the nutmeg brings a juicy sweetness into the mix, it can smell like fruit to me. For the price certainly worth a look. I will edit with final remarks after giving it some wear.

I'm assuming Azzaro discontinued this because of poor sales, which isn't surprising considering its generic name and poor marketing. It's too bad, because this fragrance is absolutely delightful. Fans of Azzaro Chrome and green scents will love this. It is basically Chrome with a lot of green notes added to it. It opens with citrus and a beautiful crisp, green grass note. That green note, which is probably from the galbanum, sets the tone for the rest of the fragrance's duration. It dries down to what smells just like Chrome, but the remnants and memory of the green notes remain throughout. Aqua Verde flew under everyone's radars when it was released, and is highly underrated.

I think this will come as a big surprise to most. Azzaro Verde is better than Gurlain L Homme Eau Boisse. This fragrance smells almost identical with three times the longevity and sillage,yes I know I said it but it is true. Azzaro can be found much cheaper of cource. Take the challenge as this fragrance for the money is stunning.PS I have the Gurlain with wooden top.Azzaro,just a classy,casual green vetiver that stays linear. LB

I just wore it once so I'm not getting into deeper details. However, after about one hour, I thought I was weaing Fierce.
