Azzaro Chrome Intense

i really wanted azzaro chrome and i ended up buying this as it was readily available in my zone. i thought it would be very strong and long lasting, its exactly opposite, opening is beautiful soapy fresh, floral and clean laundry, but within ten minutes the top is gone and its very close to the skin.others can smell it on you but you cant, for the price point, id say its not bad, i have much better acquatics, but i love this bright darkish blue juice, the bottle and metallic stem.the cap is the cheapest of all my bottles. i dont hate it, i like it but dont LOVE it. its a day to day summer freshie, good for gym and sports or outdoor activities, if you can reapply, you can make yourself smell great whole day. definitely a day time scent. if you are traveling to a humid country or there is spring also , this should be alright.no guilt over spraying :)

I own this fragrance since it's release. In fact, I had it even before trying the original chrome and I have to say that I love it and I prefer it over azzaro chrome. It's more balanced and has more character. I remember the first time I tried this scent I closed my eyes and imagined myself in front of the mediterranean shores, Santorini beaches to be exact. It has that intoxicating and passionate summer vibe, maybe due to the combination of ginger and marine notes mixed with citruses? Idk. But all I can say about this fragrance it's vacation in a bottle to me. Longevity is about 4 to 5 hours with moderate scent bubble and I got tons of compliment. Always try before you by thou.

This is transparent and creamy and gives you a light and tingly vibe. I love chrome and I think this flanker is fantastic. Still has the chrome DNA with a really nice updated vibe. Yeah its synthetic as all hell, but it is done great. I would wear this all the way through fall honestly, although its definitely a warm weather fragrance. I think it would just work better in cooler weather and then the OG chrome is fresher and lighter for extreme heat. I love it

It's affordable for everyone, fresh but still masculine, it's long lasting. A good everyday summer perfume. I would also say be careful with how much you spray....less is more with this one.

I always thought Azzaro Chrome smelled very nice and pleasant despite it being quite synthetic.. This Chrome Intense is exactly what the name says it is! This fragrance is Chrome amped up to the maximum! I sprayed some on a tester strip and this is just my first impression.. Chrome Intense opens up super fresh and ozonic with a noticeable citrus and ginger.. Right away this fragrance is noticeable as "Chrome".. Once the citrus fades a bit the strong floral notes come to the forefront.. Chrome Intense stays very fresh all the way from the opening to the fresh clean musk in the drydown.. The signature metallic vibe from the original is still there.. This fragrance smells a whole lot like Chrome just much more potent and a bit deeper.. If you like Chrome but wish it had stronger performance than this is for you! Yes this scent is synthetic but I think it is a well done intense flanker of the original Chrome.. I am sure it will be a love or hate fragrance just as the original Chrome is but I suggest you give it a try..

Chrome Intense strongly follows the original Chrome DNA. It has that synthetic ozonic/minerality, but that part is much less in comparison to the OG. For this reason people who were sensitive/allergic to the OG may find Chrome Intense wearable. The most noticeable difference from the OG is that right away you get more Blue fragrance. I smelled blue “aquatic” (ocean/water) in combination with blue “clubhouse” (shower gel/deodorant). You trade that extra blue for much of the light airy quality of the OG. Also, the woody aspect of Chrome Intense seems downplayed and you don’t get the nice woody dry down of the OG. Chrome Intense seems to have a bit of warm and very slightly creamy blue dry down. Chrome Intense is a solid choice if you want a more blue, less synthetic, and a less complex and somewhat more linear version of the Chrome fragrance.

This scent is wondeful. For those who have smelt Creed's Tabarome, the opening of this fragrance smells similar to that Creed. Perhaps it might be from the ginger and bergamot which give it that similar vibe. This one performs very well on the skin. I sprayed this yesterday evening, and I was able to detect on my skin still when I woke up this morning. I'd say more than moderate/moderate performance with this one. I lived off a sample of this scent for about a year, and while I like it, my personal opinion is that I would not consider buying this. It's a scent you could live without owning, but for those looking for a fresh scent, or perhaps only wear a fresh-type of scent, then you would like this. Quite linear once the top notes settle. Otherwise, a great release!

I've tested this just yesterday and thought is was not to bad. It feels les synthetic then the original. Very minty en bergamot, thought I smelled some faint violet in the back. What I find strange is the list of notes??? I had a sample of this given to mee just some weeks ago! The sample card clearly states: SICILIAN BERGAMOT, CARDAMON, ICED MINT, HAITIAN VETIVER! I do smell these things, not the notes listed above! Has this bin reformulated or is this a different fragrance? I'm confused People dissing on it because it smell's synthetic I think is a bit funny, for a frangrence that is made whit aldehydes en other stuff. Ofcourse it is synthetic :D And it doesn't pretend to be otherwise :D

On the initial spray, I thought it was just going to be super similar to the original. That would be okay, as the original is a favorite of mine, but I was hoping for more.... The dry down gave it to me. I don't know what note(s) it is, but it almost reminds me of the spicy anise from Azzaro Pour Homme (another great men's fragrance that has stood the test of time). It's really beautiful. Masculine, clean, and fresh. Like the rest of the Chrome line, if you live in an area that gets really hot, you can't go wrong with this.

I smelt the original Chrome and didn't like it - too metallic and ozonic. For me, it smelt like detergent mixed with metal shavings. Chrome Intense is different - the ozonic note is very prominent in my bottle but is then joined by sharp citrus in the opening. Projection is great within the first two hours. Dries down to pleasant bitter-sweet aromatic woody smell with that ozonic feature still hanging around. I really like this one in warm weather. Good summer fragrance with decent performance.

I tried this just yesterday. I have a 1.5mL sample and it is definitely different. Now, I haven't smelt the original but I do like this scent. While wearing it on my neck, I got an icy feel from it. Maybe that is the iced mint which I find pleasant. Longevity seemed to last all day. Not something I'd buy a full bottle of, but I always appreciate samples to wear and try out.

here is little to say about the magnificent Chrome. Fragrance low cost among the most popular. Beautiful and superior quality in this intense version. Fragrance that keeps the DNA of the original almost unchanged. Freshness at the top! After all, Chrome has made the story of Azzaro!

Hmmm.. The bottle reminds me a bit of last year's Chrome United, but this sounds interesting.. I have worn Chrome in the past and enjoyed it.. Hopefully the Intense will be a nice addition to the line..

Wow blind bought this on clearance & really digging it in the heat. I liked the original chrome before it was reformulated & really don't like the new formulation other than longevity. This juice I really like. Like if og chrome & current cool water had a baby... Opens big loud and fake and floral slightly sweet creamy citrussy. After the olfactory battle that is the opening settles down, intense turns light blue in feel. Like a day at the boardwalk or near the seashore but not at all tropical/fruity. Maybe a bit soapy with the flowers. Casual but mature. Leans masculine but has a bit of a floral note to soften things. Full dry down is woody spicy dry Amber and goes a bit green. This is a great scent aside from a bit of the synthetic opening. Doesn't smell like cheap juice after the first 10-20min. Smells very clean & women like it. Performs very well, given I wear it on the hottest days and nights. Projects like a monster for the first 90min. Keeps projecting another 90 min cooking off my skin. Even in the heat I get decent Woody wafts 5-6 hours later. Bottle blasts a tough spray which helps performance. Scent 8/10 less chrome more class Performance 8/10 killer freshie Value 7/10 $10/oz but can be had for less

It’s cheap...I own it...I’ll throw it on once in awhile in Spring and Summer. Due to its lack of longevity and sitting close to the skin within an hour, I can not really recommend anyone buy this (unless you are like me and can’t resist any inexpensive fragrance). Smells pleasant enough on application, but the performance is miserable. If this is the “Intense” version, I would hate to see what the regular Chrome brings to the table. If you dig the opening and first hour or two, go ahead...if you like your fragrances to perform and project...pass.

Pencil shavings a bit metallic and really green

This fragrance I did not like at all. It’s smells very cheap. But i would not say that it smells terrible as I did with le beau male. Chrome intense right off the bat that harsh note some refer to it as .. is actually ginger is very pronounced in the top notes. I find this very very soapy with bright notes in it that I also think don’t mix well And actually reminds me of kind of very generic bar of hotel soap ... and not like a luxury bar of soap that some pradas invoke. I am not a fan of this fragrance. To me it’s just not a enjoyable smell that I would go out of my way to smell like. Azzaro Chrome pure on the other hand I absolutely love. It’s also slightly soapy... but it’s also a peppery watery aquatic. I highly recommend trying Chrome pure.

I write my reviews for my own future reference. The opening was a bit perplexing. The blend of what smelled like bergamot and citrus with some spicy herbs threw me off. While it still was fresh and showery, it's spicy and herbal elements felt a little like an identity chrisis. In other words there is something about the mix I didn't like. During the dry down there's a moment of clear alcoholic bass, but then return to a darker woodsy version of its opening. I kept smelling my arm trying to figure out the notes, where I can distinctly smell a bergamot citrus spicy herbal and Woody nuts, but again the blend was not for me pleasant. I'll still interested in the other versions of Chrome pass on this and it's regular counterpart.

Synthetic bomb as most of the Azzaros. You wont find it annoying if you're OK with generic shampoo, hair spray or detergents, oh and car freshers! Chrome intense is similar but only cost more! Good for you Azzaro, my top 1 house which I'll never trust and revisit! Undefeatable!

Awful, synthetic piece of crap. is very much like Lacoste Essential; that same soapy, grassy, plastic aroma that i hate. Not much more to say about this. 50/100 RIYL: Lacoste Essential.

The only difference from Azzaro Chrome seems to be longevity, so if that’s the case — why even consider the basic version at all?

Aquatic Opening..when it comes to Mid..it literally smells like Metallic coins.. Most Regretted purchase i have ever made..

The scent is awful. The topnotes particularly. It seems like a window cleaner. The original is much better!!

Creed Silver Mountin Water Clone all day, I’m surprised nobody’s really done a side by side. I did. Only difference is price and smw lasts longer and smells more natural.

Before putting all biases aside I have to tell you I think of Azzaro Chrome as a "Target Cologne" or "Walmart Cologne".... Now, not that I think it's a bad scent, it's just something I associate with those stores. Having that said, I will put my biases aside and say at first spray, this caught my attention. I didn't expect much seeing as the original Chrome was good, but gave me a weird metallic vibe. The first thing I noticed was how strong this juice is. Easily twice as strong as the original. This would be VERY easy to over-spray. The scent: Very similar to the original Chrome, but this is better overall. As I said before, the original gave me a weird metallic vibe...This one does not. Honestly, the best way I can put it is, just imagine the original Chrome doubled in strength and having the metallic note removed. Is it similar to the original? Yes. Is it different than the original? Yes. Is it synthetic? Yes. Does it smell good? Yes. Overall: 7/10 Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 9/10 ***I will eventually buy this. I will not pay full price ($87). I know for a fact this will be online in no time for under $50. Its just the way it goes.

I now realize the sharp metallic notes in the original Chrome are extremely turned up here, it takes everything from the original and gives it a lot of subtle power and projection. Much more so. First spray is a blast of fruit, I get the grapefruit and ginger immediately. Love the ozone in there. This gives it amazing projection and smells so clean, not too soapy. 15-20 minutes later it mellows a bit into a clean woodsy smell, with just the slightest tinge of metallic notes. It lasts all day long and sillage is awesome. 6 months in, I can say that I prefer this over original Chrome. In fact I burned through a 100ml bottle already. Thank goodness I found some 100ml testers on the cheap. Top five fragrance for me right now.

I write my reviews not for you to read. So please do not read. A reminder to myself, this is a scent to wear on a body. I must spray it on. I must aim the spray onto my chest area. One or two sprays. One in the summer, two in the winter. Please no reading this is for myself and only I. Remember this is an aquatic version of Chrome. It contains hedione a note that I personally like. Most are hedione deniers, not myself, they are not reading this. Very strong scent if you spray to your chest hairs. Lasts more than one day. Girls treat wearer like cotton candy.

I'm not sure ozonic notes smell like. it opens with bright citrus aquatic that last to dry down. Very linear on my skin. Smells like basic citrus cologne. Weak performance less 1 hrs projection, sits close to the my skin for 2-4hrs. Not bad, but with this price range there lot of fragrances that perform and project better for this type of summer scent.(price about $40-50 For 100ml in my country) Rating: 6.5/10(there some note that I don't like) try before buy!

This was an instant no for me, it has to be some off-putting linear floral note (Although I tried giving it a chance), however I do love the sharp and screechy notes in this one. (This coming from someone who loves Chrome United, Chrome Aqua, Chrome Sport, Chrome Azure). I have not tried the original, and if intense is any indication of Extreme, EDP & Parfum. I'll probably stay away from the rest of those flankers.

Instant nostalgia. Shame that it's discontinued. This is a more rounded version of the original Chrome. That freshness, has a cooling effect, projects really really well. If you're looking for an energizing nostalgic freshie with a metallic edge that you can casually grab on those warmer days, if found at a good price, go for it without a question. It's a banger.

While it's intense it's good. The problem is that the intensity is only there for the first 20-30 minutes, when all participants - the citrus, the spices, the sense of cleaning products (shampoo, window cleaner, toilet fresheners etc) - are pumping with life and vigor. Then it becomes a metallic woody scent, not unpleasant, but boring. **(***)

Chrome Intense is a pleasant warm weather daytime scent, very light and creamy with very harsh opening. After some time it becomes almost the same with one of my old Dzintars scents. I must smell them again to find which exactly. So this is not a new smell for me. I'll update with more info.

Azzaro chrome intense reminds me of a a cheap woody air freshener, similar to the smell during/after sharpening a pencil. Perfect as a room scent but not on a person. The original is 100x better, definitely try before you buy

I am using it, but nobody got surprised, I will use as a normal fragance, but What can I do? I am feel great with Chrome original, I will try Chrome United maybe I will get better results with it.

Azzaro products are really commendable look at the bottle.. it looks like a crome bolt is drilled inside the juice of bottle n the colour of the juice has intensified . waiting to rock this.

I love the limited editions, because i don't like the original, is too strong for me, i can imagine this, just one spray on my skin, and i will get a headache. But i will try it.

I have always said this is the only aquatic I would ever wear and best aquatic scent I’ve ever come across. Unfortunately has zero performance and it’s a shame.

This is the chrome I always wanted. The harsh metallic notes are taken out. It’s not as floral. It smells more masculine in the original chrome I like it a lot.

This thing smells as cheap as anything in the world. Don't ever blind buy it, try it at store and ONLY BUY IT if you really likes it to maximum

This was my first fragrance buy. The scent is very pleasing. The performance though is very poor. It only lasts about an hour.
