Chrome Eau de Parfum

I will agree. It does have a Bleu de Chanel vibe but like, 40% of it. Not even remotely enough to substitute it. Its more green Profondo. Instead of those mineral notes, add some pine. And the pine comes off as generic as fuck! Strong synthetic alcoholic pine. If you know that metalic synthetic opening of the original, you can have a better understanding. Once it settles down it mellows into a more pleasant pine with aquatic fresh fruity sweetness. It is okay, but way way under on the list of what you need to buy. There are dozens of fresh green slash blue showergel frags that are light years better. The best in line would be Extreme which is 95% Profondo just without mineral notes and more fruity but the similarities are spot on to the point that in the air, no one will know if you are wearing Profondo or Chrome Extreme. The only win Chrome Parfum takes is longevity. Easily 8+ hours. Do take into account that in heat, it gets sweeter and that synthetic vibe goes away fast so this might be good only for hot summer days but even for that, the Extreme beats it. Not a fan. Get Extreme or even Aqua which is super green and refreshing or one of the million other generic blue frags. People will love it on you as it is guys only and women cant pull it off.

I typically find blue scents to be nauseating, but I felt nothing of the sort when smelling this one. Having never smelled the OG Chrome, not sure how it compares, but this fragrance on its own is wonderful. The best way to describe the opening is "juicy". The mandarin in the opening has just the perfect amount of sweetness that comes off as fresh. After the mandarin fades, the pine note starts to take center, but it isn't too harsh and still somehow keeps the vibes of a blue scent. The lavender is very subtle but rounds out the perfume. I found that in humid environments, on my skin, the scent does fade a bit faster (in like 3-4 hours), but in drier places (and even on cooler days) it stays for a good 7-8 hours. While people do associate this profile with warmer weather, I actually found it really pleasant when the weather was in the 50-65 °F range, especially due to the pine/lavender notes; I've already been wearing this year-round. Perfect dumb reach for a day with friends or working in an office. The only complaint I have is that I wish it projected a bit longer in hotter weather, but it's a great scent. Especially for the price, I'd say this is a solid buy.

I picked this up recently for $25 (50 ml), and it is an absolute steal at this price point. I get good performance from the original, but I'm getting even better longevity (8+ hours) off of 4-5 sprays around my neck and chest. This doesn't project as much as the EDT, but it leaves a solid sillage trail when I wear it. I like the fresh clean style of the Chrome DNA, so I really enjoy the modern blue/pine elements surrounding the nods to the original concept. I think it's a great value If you can pick it up for 25-30 bucks like I did.

Just sprayed it at Macy's on my wrist. This is so good. Do not expect it to be revolutionary or mind blowing. It does smell like Profondo lights, maybe not a 100% Profondo lights but almost close. The beginning is Profondo but just a bit lighter (hah get it?) then afterwards it just turns a medium fresh. I love it, I will definitely be getting a bottle. You can't really go wrong with it unless maybe you find that Profondo is too harsh. When it hits resellers definitely it will be worth it. 8.5/ 10

This is such an underrated fragrance. If you like AdG Profondo, you will probably like this one too. Is fresh, sweet citrusy shower gel off the top & then woody clean lavander in the dry down. Got a lot of compliments from women wearing this one. Longevity on my skin is 7h with 1.5 - 2h of projection. Works in any situation. For 43€ this is perfect and insanely underrated. If this was in a YSL bottle it would've been hyped to the moon.

yes finally got this in my collection for a good price! this is a different take on the original chrome edt .this has like an icy touch of freshness green airy aromatic! not aquatic not marine. clean masculine yes! i would use this for everyday occasions with no problem on the performance, i did two sprays on my wrist and lasted 12 hours . its safe for a work environment. office casual settings. Note this is not ADG ! try first! .

This has to be, without question the best value for money-money can buy in regards to a modern fragrance today. The incredibly modern scent, beautiful bottle, excellent performance, high quality and blend is outrageous. It checks every box in spades. One of the very few fragrances I couldn't see myself without. Azzaro deserves much more respect and recognition for this release.

Oh men, i love this fragrance. Its fresh, citrus, very clean. It feels like sunny skies, white clothing, on beach with some shades. The performance my goodness, it projects for 5 hours plus and longevity is great. When it comes to performance, I must really compliment Azzaro in most of their fragrances. For a fresh, aquatic fragrance, Azzaro is spot on. I love this juice.

If you’re considering getting the Parfum version, skip it and get this Chrome Eau de Parfum instead. The EDP is sweet, fresh, bright and invigorating with moderate longevity, the Parfum is dry, sour and dirty, with terrible bitter notes. The EDP is just a beautifully crafted scent that’s an easy daily wear freshie, perfect for the warmer months and work or school.

Absolutely love this one. I picked it up at Macys months back and this is my Swiss Army Knife fragrance. It's perfect for a daily driver and would probably be office safe for many. I'd not consider wearing this to the gym as it's a bit strong for that (in my opinion) but this is way up there on my favorites list.

Love it. Top 3 in the line. I rank it right there in between Aqua and Extreme. Opens up very nice and has some depth. Very citrusy. The note breakdown provided is not very accurate this has more notes then 3. I am very pleased with this release. Azzarro has been hitting these last few releases out of the park!

Reminds me a lot of Chrome intense. Chrome intense has zero performance this has good performance. For me it’s a bit of a let down. I had better hopes for it. I wanted something close to the original. I’ll keep it around for it’s performance for a while. Still, a solid heavy hitter

This smells like shower gel, but a really good shower gel, which I love! If you want to smell fresh and clean all day, get your nose on this. I think this is my favorite chrome, chrome aqua is a close second.

Fantastic summer scent imo. Is it a room filling smell? No. Does it last long? No. Did Azzaro take the same ingredients every other fragrance house has used and balance them almost perfectly? Yes.

The shower gel freshness is so fucking good bro. I will buy this again when I run out, it's just so damn good. Makes me smell clean and fresh and it actually lasts a good while.

Bought a 100 mil bottle. Smells great. Similar to bleu de chanel parfum. Good staying power. I like it better than the original. Gonna be a good one for this coming spring

This is a basic spicy and aromatic fragrance, without too much complicacy.. it's clean and fresh and I personally really like the green notes I get there at the end.

This smells really good. I was surprised. Smells like something that could come from Abercrombie. Lasts a good while and has good performance

Opening: On the opening it is very citrusy, synthetic, and bright. The citrus lasts only a few seconds however. For the first 10 Minutes the scent is very bitter and harsh, but once it starts to dry, it gets much better. Most of the opening is just Bitter though. Drydown: It smells very creamy, soapy, slightly aquatic, and tiny bit spicy. It is a very simple scent and the florals and bright opening that are smelled on the tester strip are lost on skin. The mandarin orange sweetness from chrome extreme is also found here. Update: When indoors where it’s cool, the scent gets much spicier, Looks like it shines indoors. I would wear a suit and eat nice dinner wearing this. Performance: Projection is low, but when outside shirtless in the sun, performance gets much better. Approx 1ft scent bubble w good silage if outdoors. Longevity is 7-8hrs.. Personal Notes: It is a masculine scent, but not macho man masculine. It smells like a 30 year old dad in a golf polo and khakis. It’s not a bad scent, but I wouldn’t pay more than $30 for this. The best occasion for this scent is sitting in the yard, eating lunch on a outdoor, or eating a fancy dinner indoors. It is not aquatic enough to be worn at the beach or extreme heat situations. Chrome EDP makes an awesome first scent because it is so versatile, just don’t expect to get blown away. Azzaro Chrome Eau de Parfum (EDP) is a citrus, floral and woody fragrance. It has a fresh and fruity opening, with mandarin citrus. As the minutes go by, the aroma of lavender increases, giving it a very floral and aromatic characteristic, as well as some amber sweetness. In the drying phase a woody base of pine can be perceived, but it never loses the amber fruity presence. Chrome EDP is a masculine and very attractive fragrance, easy to use and suitable for different scenarios, casual situations, office work, outings with friends, etc., and due to its fresh characteristics, it is a good option for spring, summer and spring days. fall. As for its longevity, with me it remained between 7 and 8 hours, projecting well for the first hour and a half, then its intensity decreases but it leaves a slight aromatic trace. Comparing it with the original Eau de Toilette(EDT) version, it has some similarities, but it has more differences. For example, both are fresh aquatic-style fragrances, but with different nuances, while the EDT is citrusy, metallic and musky, the EDP is citrusy, floral, woody and sweeter. This new version of Chrome is a good addition, as it modernizes the classic version, bringing it closer to current versions of blue fragrances. Special mention has the color of the bottle with a navy blue color that is degrading, which looks very pretty live.

After several Chrome superstars from recent years Ive had high anticipations from this release. It lists only 3 notes and funny enough thats all you get, bitter orange combined with pine is the core of this scent, start to finish, its very linear and very predictable, people compare it to blue and aquatic vibes but to me its more green and evergreen than anything else. Pine scent is very strong, sharp and dominates this profile. To me this feels like an unfinished project and lacks depth, creativity or any kind of unique touch. Its very basic and below average for something that is being released in 2022. Definitely belongs in the discounter bin at best, its not a bad cologne, just not memorable or retail worthy by far. Btw test it on your skin, on a tester stick it smells slightly better than what it is. If you want the best from Chrome line up get Chrome Aqua for super fresh tingling citrus burst (sporty vibes) or Extreme for sweet and comforting yet fresh with some depth and earthiness (compliment magnet). Both are great value and worth every penny even at higher price. Update: I wore this EDP a few more times, so disappointed, this is very bland uninspiring, boring and instantly forgettable cologne, its somewhat reminds me of what I have thought of original "Wanted". No blind buys please, absolutely not, save your money.

I have had Chrome on my sink counter since 1997. I was really sad when the original Chrome lost it's whole staying power; it would be GONE in about an hour. Totally GONE. So, I have been chasing a great Chrome fragrance ever since. It sounds bizarre, but I just feel better having that iconic flacon shape on my sink. I tried the "Pure" (almost powdery), the Aqua (smells like sea glass would, but it just didn't project enough), the Extreme (what a very cold ocean scent would be). I have been chasing that original Chrome magic ever since. I haven't found it. Comes now the Eau de Parfum (without the odd presentation -- Pure/Aqua/Extreme just weirdly had those words written toward the top of the bottle face). I'm liking it Chrome EdP. It definitely PROJECTS well. I wish it were more in-line with that musky aluminum/metallic/dare-I-say CHROME smell of the original. This is a very deep, rich, woody aquatic. I appreciate the pine note a lot. It's not quite "pine" in the Polo Green tradition, but it's a fresh, wet pine. I like it. I already feel better having another Chrome flacon on my sink area. I'll see how people respond.

Coming from a Chrome Extreme fanboy, it's not crazy special but it smells very high quality and well blended. Comparing it to the original chrome, this smells like a modern light blue fragrance with some slight green piney attributes. It is very fresh, extremely smooth, and very slightly sweet. The quality of the notes smells much better than the original chrome. The original Chrome smells like sour sunscreen in comparison to this, or possibly the tester bottle had expired. Either way this is a definite upgrade, if you are comparing directly to the original, and is likely worth $35-$45. Chrome Extreme is still the best scent in the line, although Chrome EDP smells better blended/expensive. Since this impression is based on a test strip, not sure on it's performance. Very safe, 8/10 scent. (it's literally a buy, and get a nice quality fragrance type of deal. No bad surprises)

This Chrome EDP flanker doesn't have much to do with the original -- there's definitely no "metallic" vibe, nor is it citric-based -- but it's nonetheless a very worthy addition to the line, and one that I was pleasantly surprised by. First of all, it's well-blended. It is without a doubt a woody, aromatic fragrance, and as one would hope with only three notes listed, all are easily detectable. There's a bit of a shaving cream vibe going on here (from the lavender, I'm sure) that gives the fragrance a bit of a classic feel, and I think that's why I enjoy it. I strongly disagree with comments calling it "generic." The performance is also on point with this. Both Chrome Aqua and Chrome Extreme had little lasting power on me, but not the case here. All in all, a quality flanker that would fit in just about any collection, and one that I'm strongly considering adding to mine.

This one seems to be polarizing, I find it extremely likable. Predominantly blue dna with a green influence, not the other way around. I don’t pick up on much of an aquatic facet, instead it becomes interesting with a bright element that lands somewhere between mineralic/salty/metallic. Any sweetness is very subdued. I find it a bit too heavy (not cloying but specifically heavy) for the particularly hot days of summer. Even so, that makes this a 90% year round scent because it has enough depth to perform in fall and winter (the pine makes it very appropriate around Christmas time). Apparently performance is a widely noted complaint for this one, fortunately I have not experienced this. In fact, this (on my skin chemistry) is a rather big performer. I wore this out of the shower before bed and woke up to a prominent scent bubble the next morning.

UPDATE: I actually dislike this one quite a lot. I don't know if I got an off batch, but the performance on this one is so poor I just never want to wear it because what's the point? It is gone is less than an hour, and I've tested this. You could take a bath in it and it would be gone in an hour. Quite an achievement. Azarro is such an uneven house, I don't know what to make of it. I think this sauce is terrible. As far as the scent, you've smelled it a zillion times, this floral/aquatic/slightly woody thing. Generic as is can possibly be. Summer dumb reach. I get lots of Irish-spring-esque chemical soapiness along with a watery ozone and perhaps a touch of evergreen at the base. Boring with the worst performance imaginable. Don't spend your money on this when there's hundreds of others in this genre that perform.

This was actually my first fragrance, so it’ll always be special to me. It’s super beginner-friendly and one of those scents that’s easy to wear anywhere like gym, errands, casual outings, or just daily use. The fragrance starts off very strong with a sharp citrusy opening and projects quite a lot at first, but after around 30 minutes the projection becomes much softer and closer to the skin. As it settles, it turns into this really unique mediterranean-style scent that I had never smelled before. It smells fresh, airy, and clean with this relaxing coastal vibe that feels classy without trying too hard. Even after trying more fragrances, this is still one I genuinely enjoy reaching for often. And honestly, if you can find it at a discounted price, it’s completely worth picking up.

I was really hoping that a pine note will be dominant in this one (bought it blindly on a discount, judging by it's description) but no - it's just another blue aquatic fragrance. It seems that people are going by description when they label this as woody perfume - it's definitely NOT. It's aquatic and slightly lavender-ish scent. No pine or any other woody notes whatsoever. I mean it's nice, fresh and pleasant but there are hundreds of colognes/perfumes that smell pretty much like this. Really nothing special about it. It's definitely a safe blind buy though - it can be worn anywhere and in any season, day or night, as it's a discrete light skin scent, no matter how much you spray it on yourself it won't be overpowering so you won't suffocate people around yourself.

Update: after 2 years sitting on the shelf. I bought this when it just came out and I was not impressed by it by any means. In fact it was one of the most boring cheap smelling scents. Im not sure but after long maceration this smells a little bit better now, especially in the opening. Its stronger and more interesting smelling, I also do pick up hints of OG Chrome in the background and sweet tone reminds me of Chrome Extreme. Basically this is OG Chrome with modern blue twist, totally see how its compared to Profondo Lights and even BDC, still its nothing above mid tier and also lacks in performance but it has improved over time quite a bit. Chrome Extreme is still my favorite by a mile, must like sweet scents to enjoy it.

This one smells quite nice. It shares a little bit of the metallic fresh edge the OG Chrome has, but this one is a bit darker and thicker thanks to the addition of some more woody and aromatic notes. It's still a fresh enough scent to be great for warm weather but not quite as blue and aquatic as other Chrome flankers thanks to its greener edges. The performance here is average, with very little projection even in the early stages but fairly good longevity of 8ish hours as a skin scent. I have Chrome Legend too and prefer it, finding it to have a more unique scent and better projection. Still, this is a solid affordable summer scent.

Pleasant, light & safe fragrance. I'm a pretty big fan of this brand's fragrances but honestly a little underwhelmed with this one. I much prefer the earthiness and more unique vibe of the more recent 'Chrome Parfum' iteration. However of course it's all subjective and some will prefer the easy going nature of this EDP, it depends what you're after. Although things improve in the later dry-down (to my tastes), I still can't help feeling this one was a bit of a miss-step (after Aqua, Extreme (and before Parfum which fits in better with those) but perhaps it could be viewed as a positive for some noses.

This is pretty good for the Chrome line. It's what you would want the eau de parfum to smell like. To me this is a lot like Polo Deep Blue Parfum because it has a noticeable Green side. For me the longevity and performance is pretty average though. I wouldn't pay over $40 for this and plus it only has 3 notes. I think Aqua and Extreme are better than this along with the original Chrome. It's still good but not for full retail. I see some people liking this a lot but for me it's a little redundant. There are a lot of Blues out there!

A fairly basic, mildly aquatic woodsy scent that is great for spring and summer as a fresh, clean scent with a mild dose of woody musk and pine. It sticks around for quite a while, without being too overbearing. Decent projection as well. Great scent for the daytime--outdoors for a hike, or in a business casual work setting. The opening can be mildly off-putting sometimes (other times it is great, depending on the day), though after 15 minutes the harshness goes away completely.

Spicy, woody, masculine and aromatic. This one can be worn year round. I really like that it has a slight piney edge to it. Love the scent but am disappointed with the longevity, so this gets a "like" from me. I like the Parfum version as well and get better longevity with that one. I'm a big fan of blues and fresh, versatile fragrances like this one. In spite of its lackluster performance on my skin, I can see myself getting another when I run out due to its scent and price.

Opening has a pleasant floral scent, which then dries down into an uncanny resemblance of ADG Profondo Lights. However it smells less synthetic on my skin, which I actually like better than Profondo Lights. That's surprising because I haven't encountered anything by Giorgio Armani that wasn't a banger. I agree with other reviewers that it isn't exactly unique but it's perfect for my desire to find a replacement for the now discontinued ADG:PL.

Fresh woody aromatic. Aquatic matrix with an herbal, almost soapy, lavender peeking through and a tinge of green pine all over a light woody base. Surprisingly seems to get darker and richer as it dries down. Moderately soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 10-12hr.

Citrusy pine with slight marine and Lavender touches. After Aqua this is the best one, and I would choose it over the original. Will be a great value once it hits discounters. Projected well for almost 2 hours on my skin and lasted for about 7.

I wasn't sure about this frag at first but after wearing it for a day I actually like it alot. It would be a great fragrance if it only lasted longer than 30 min!

Smells great but is very generic. This has lost its soul... doesn’t smell like chrome at all.

I like it. Modern masculine scent. Very much a woody scent. I get tone of the pine note.

#760 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I think this fragrance is okay, but I also think most of the other blue freshies people listed in the "reminds me of" section are okay, except the Kenneth Cole Mankind which is utterly worthless. This EDP at least has better potency than say Tommy Bahama "Maritime Deep Blue" or the Nauticas. But to my nose the Chrome Parfum and EDP are almost indistinguishable and I've come to think of Chrome as something for a high school athlete's gym bag. Azzaro as a rule, whether the Chrome or Wanted lines, seems to create flankers with very little difference as a way to market additional bottles of what is essentially the same juice in the same glassware and boxes without the cost and effort to substantively change manufacturing and marketing. Make white caps instead of silver caps instead of black caps instead of blue caps. Make clear bottles instead of black bottles instead of silver bottles. It's basically the same schtick as Calvin Klein CK, and I'm very much past being suckered in like that. If you have one Chrome scent you pretty much have them all. This EDP is at least a better option for longevity and sillage than the scented water they sell as after-shave and EDTs, but still nothing for anyone to be excited about.

The EDP comes across a bit synthetic, and it is a well blended and a well rounded aquatic blue fragrance. There are a lot of interesting notes that elevate this above a standard blue scent: calming lavender, energetic citrus, a bit of forest green, and something musky and slightly woody. Ultimately it is going to come down to your skin chemistry and personal preferences. I like many aspects of the EDP, but I did not buy a bottle because it has a slight funky/powdery blue smell (more noticeable on skin). The synthetic aspect is a bit much and it doesn’t play off as well as the EDT. If I could reformulate this I would want something with more focus on the ocean aquatic note. This has the ocean aquatic note, but it gets too caught up in too much lavender and a funky blue. I like the DNA and parts of this, but it is just not dialed in enough for my preferences.

It's out here in Portugal. Nothing new or revolutionary, it's a nice smelling summer flanker which is a less fruitier version of Chrome Aqua, with a slight ressemblance to Acqua Di Gio too, i was waiting for something a bit more "daring"... At least the performance is ok. The notes list is definitely lacking a few elements too.

I tested it out today and it is very underwhelming. It smells nothing like the original, which I don't like and it's very close to the skin. Kind of boring and uninspired. Let's say it's ok.

This stuff is just fine. It's good for those times you don't want to bring out the big guns on a weekday afternoon and for the price I paid at Burlington Coat Factory, again it's fine.

I get a fresh, clean, modern day, spicy-woody scent. It's nice. At the same time, there's nothing here that's a stand out. Middle of the road; not showing off, not falling behind.
