For the Culture Azzaro Wanted by Night was received so very well by the community that one who hasn’t smelled the original would likely imagine the two to be vastly different — and they would be quite mistaken. Surely the original Azzaro Wanted is fresher, but the overall scent structure is actually very much intact. If you enjoyed the original, I can’t gather how you would not enjoy Wanted by Night, and vice versa. Alas, I digress. . . . Wanted by Night shares the same realm as the multitude of conventional date night fragrances, such as Dolce & Gabbana’s The One, and The One EDP, being both warm, sweet, spicy, and sitting relatively close to the skin after application — although, I’d be remiss if I didn’t applaud Wanted by Night for its superior performance as it pertains to longevity. Whereas with many of the typical “come hither” fragrances the product is rather fleeting, with Wanted by Night, the scent has the staying power to last you well into the next morning if the need arises. Wanted by Night is dominated by the orange at the top, along with the cinnamon, and everything else within the provided note breakdown seems to cling to the patchouli, and ISO E Super molecule in vestigial amounts, providing an apparent, though vague sweetness that lends itself less towards a ripe orange, and more towards what would be a spicy, sugary orange marmalade. Having said that, there’s something about the composition that prevents it from meandering aimlessly into the territory of gourmand, while imbuing the fragrance with an air of slight modernity, and class. Stated plainly: it smells as if you were daring enough, you could eat it, but it’s clear you should not. As I mentioned before, there is nothing to be desired in the performance category. You can expect at least eight hours, with strong projection for at least two hours. You’d do especially well not to immediately make your departure after application, though: the cinnamon in this fragrance is loud, and while it may very well cause the wearer to go anosmic quickly, others could easily be overwhelmed within the first thirty minutes. I mention this, because it is very likely that if you drive to your date, during your time in the closed vehicle, you could cause an encounter where the fragrance could be cloying or offensive. Because I love you I will advise you to allow the fragrance to dry down before beginning your evening. Fret not. The fragrance is somewhat linear, so that lucky someone will not miss much. In the end, Wanted by Night is quite lovely. By no stretch of the imagination is it a paradigm shattering masterpiece, but it is undoubtedly a great staple in any enthusiast’s collection — capable of being worn any evening not exceeding 80° Fahrenheit. This... is an exceptional fragrance. Azzaro's Wanted by Night marked my first bottle of cologne as a young adult after graduating from scents like Polo Double Black. It also marked the beginning of my love for fragrance. This cologne is a perfect signature scent for the right wearer -- I ran through the entire bottle until there was not a drop left. I wore it daily for years. It opens with crisp and warming citrus and cinnamon, reminiscent of a masculine embodiment of MarketSpice tea. It dries down to a beautiful and rich woody smell that is perfectly sweet and spicy, dark and light, heavy and lifting... truly a demonstration of mastering real balance in a fragrance. I got compliments on it on a handful of occasions. It is sultry and bold, yet agreeable and inoffensive to anyone. It projects just enough. People say it is a winter scent, which is true -- I also feel that it works in any weather without becoming cloying or too heavy. I am very sensitive to sweet smells in the heat, and never had a single complaint with this one. This fragrance is unique and special, as not many people wear it -- it is not very mainstream. I miss having it and will likely end up buying a second bottle someday.

Wanted by Night is a gorgeous fragrance. The combination of warm spices and vanilla with undertones of fruit and a hint of citrus all combine beautifully together. It makes for a very pleasant extremely easy wearing fragrance that while it isn’t the most complex or original, is amazing. It is in that perfect area of simple but interesting, easy wearing but not plain or boreing. Performance wise Wanted by Night unfortunately suffers a little on the longevity side of things. I got 5 hours of wear time on my skin and about 6 on my clothes. A solid 5/10 here. Projection wise Wanted by Night was quite amazing for the first 2 hours, raising nicely off my skin and projecting just outside my arms length. Unfortunately after the first 2 hours projection absolutely tanked, dropping to a very close skin scent. A 7/10 here. Overall I really enjoyed Wanted by Night, it’s a very pleasent take on the sweet spice and vanilla side of the fragrance world. The fruit notes with the hint of citrus are a lovely addition to this type of fragrance. It’s a solid 7/10 for me. It’s an easy wearing less complex sweet spicy fragrance that feels like an easy daily grab.

I managed to get a tester that is around the 2019-2021 batches I presume, since the bottle has some rust on the metal parts, the juice remains untouched. This fragrance is absolutely stunning, I immediately got reminded of Spice bomb, what you get with this is a sweet, warm, leathery, and tobacco amber fragrance. The opening is bubblegummy sweet, with some type of minty accord that stays throughout all of the mid, which is where this fragrance shines. The mid is this absolutely beautiful blend of amber, spices and tobacco, the leather on this is suedey and smooth, nothing crazy, but all around this is so well blended for such a cheap fragrance. Women love this btw, this is not going to get you crazy compliments but it will get you people trying to get closer since it is such an alluring scent. In terms of performance, I disagree with the others, this performs like crazy on me. I get 8-10hrs with strong projection for like 2-3hrs, and it never really dies down to skin scent until the very end of the fragrance. I am unaware if this has been reformulated or discontinued.

I love the Most Wanted Parfum, and wanted to give this a test. I'll be honest, on the first test strip from my local shop, I really didn't like it. I found it a bit too harsh. After a couple of weeks of seeing all the great reviews of it, I gave it another chance, both on a strip and on my skin. Again, at first I wasn't a fan, yet found myself being pulled back to it to smell again and again throughout the afternoon. By the evening, I had started to really enjoy the scent and found it quite intriguing. Got myself a bottle and now I love it. I still find that it opens a bit harsh, but after about 10-15 minutes, that harshness fades away to reveal a beautifully complex, deep, and mature masculine dry down. Once the smooth woodyness comes through, with that hint of smoke from the tobacco and an occasional kick of citrus, it becomes almost addictive, and a fragrance I have really started to appreciate. Was definitely a grower for me, and I would encourage anyone who isn't sure about it to give it another couple of tests and let it mature a bit.

Spicy woody amber with a tobacco vanilla twist. It's such a typical designer scent not the most original but that cinnamon is just so attractive it's got those infamous woody ambers too but all mashed up together the whole thing works. Sometimes you get a simple but sure fire thing for that is attractive and will do the job and do it well. For me just imagine you've rubbed some cinnamon oil on your neck and your out and about maybe you work at bakery and your clothes faintly smell of baked goods. This will surely pleases many, many people. Think of getting this the same way a basic white t-shirt can be versatile dressed up or down or off up to you really. Does lean a little younger so if you're 50+ might want to pick something a little more age appropriate. To be honest I've gone through 70% of a 100ml of this and that's not easy when you have a collection to go through however given I'm almost 40 I will not be repurchasing time move on I guess.

The fragrance opens with a robust blend of cinnamon and orange, instantly reminding me of the cinnamon tea I enjoyed during the Christmas season in Mexico. After a few minutes, a sweet aroma emerges that feels slightly fruity along with incense thus retaining a dark intensity, making it a perfect cold-weather scent. At around the half-hour mark, the fragrance transitions into its drydown. The sweetness continues to shine, complemented by a woody vanilla note that adds depth. In terms of performance, I found that it projects reasonably well for the first two hours and stays on my skin for about seven hours. I have no complaints regarding its longevity or sillage; it's definitely a great choice for a date night, as it will last throughout the evening.

Now that this has been discontinued for some time, it can be found for the very attractive price of around $50 (100mL). This is, in my honest opinion, the best Azzaro fragrance out there. Blows TMW EDP and the Parfum variant out of the water, on all facets. Now, of course, scent is subjective, but this goddamn thing would not get off of my skin. It was still projecting the next day, projecting pure, spicy, cinammon sex. The only particular downside I've noticed in this, is how it smells on skin. I must admit, it smells rather unpleasant and offensive. However, it completely makes up for it in the air, there is truly nothing like it. The standout choice when it comes to modern designers. Shame they discontinued it. Seriously considering a backup.

This is still my favorite of the line. A great performing, fruity, cinnamon heavy scent, with a good hint of tobacco. Do not judge it by its name, as the aromatic lavender gives it this nice, yet subdued, fougère vibe that adds to its versatility and makes it a great signature scent for the cooler months. You can definitely rock this anywhere, day or night, as long as you're not in a hot environment. It smells sweet (not of the bubblegummy type like some of the other flankers), clean and inviting. I'd even say this is more versatile than the Parfum version, which feels a bit less unique and more "night out". This one just has a bit more character, an almost niche quality to it that never endangers any of its appeal. Great stuff. 8.75/10

This's unique and very good smelling, I've The Most Wanted EDP Intense and this one (Wanted By Night) both are my favorite from all fragrances that I've. Believe me this scent is sexy, actually both this one and TMW EDP, However both are different. Wanted By Night it's fresh, spice and fruity, while TMW EDP is sweet, amber and spice (toffee like so yummy and sexy). I usually using both in all year around, it doesn't matter if it winter or summer time. Like I said Wanted By Night it has freshness and TMW EDP it's sweet but light and not overwhelming at all, it has kind of brightness as well. Overall: 8.7/10 (if the performance is better this would be 10/10). I don't know, Why many hate this?!!

Took me a while to realize that they changed the bottle, I really like the old bottle design, I don't know why they changed it other than to match the other wanted line up, anyways I finally got a bottle for my birthday, and let me say, it's till one of my favorite fragrances in my collection, one thing I will say is the cumin note is a bit repulsive for a moment, which when I tried it in the mall, I didn't get any cumin, just a more delicious fruitiness, thought that bottle didn't have as much longevity, my bottle last 12+, it also has a more delicious and prominent vanilla, a hint more of tobacco, other than that, I will be expecting my bottle to get better over time

I’ve had Wanted by Night for a while now, my bottle’s almost done, but honestly, it still hits every time I wear it. It’s warm, spicy, a bit sweet, and just super magnetic. Perfect for evenings out or cooler weather. What I love about it is how it blends that cinnamon x tobacco vibe with a fruity twist, it’s smooth, a bit mysterious, and always gets noticed (in a good way). It’s the kind of scent that makes you feel put-together without trying too hard. Even with a growing collection, this one still gets regular use. It just works. Confident, masculine, and a little bit bold. It never disappoints.

This fragrance smells sort of like a more citrus & cinnamon take on apple pie, not super gourmand though. The opening is a bit synthetic/harsh, but after 20-45 minutes it becomes better. A few more hours in it gets less sweet and more sophisticated, sort of like a fruity & woody tasting cigarette, in a good way. It’s a perfect date night fall fragrance, it also works in the winter too, but I think the cinnamon makes it more fall leaning Final rating: 9.7/10, an Apple note would make it perfect Side note: may require a few months for the opening to get less harsh at first

(this review is about the old bottle) this is absolutely gorgeous and its a shame its so rare to come by dont let the long list of ingredients fool you. its ridiculously linear, simple and synthetic in spite of that, its unbelievably sexy its so manly, so seductive, fruity but dark nothing in my collection gives me more confidence when wearing it than this does the best thing azzaro ever made, none of the other flankers or the original give off this energy in the slightest this shouldve been a release on its own and im sad its disappearing slowly

Fragrance Journal Entry #77 Quick disclaimer my review is for the version BEFORE reformulation (gunmetal grey top). This is hands down the best wanted flanker and smells incredibly unique comparred to the others. Opens up with a bubblegummy cinnamon deliciousness and dries down with smooth vanilla and woods. Apparently they completely changed the scent profile after reformulation which is a shame. If you can get the older one it's incredible stuff and the ladies love it. Top 10 fall frag for about 7 years now. Rating: 8.9/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES

Best fragrance in the wanted line in terms of making women’s heads turn. And gaining positive attention Smells as if Invictus got a Profumo version like how Acqua di gio did. This is the “Invictus Profumo” This is ALL YEAR ROUND!! Screw the fall time winter time only BS. Wear this in the summer I get crazy compliments off it. However I would try to only wear this in the evening as it doesn’t ring to me as an office/morning type of scent. This is 1000% the “Real bad boy” kinda scent I’m just here for fun so earn my memory type of smell.

Why haven't I tried this sooner, my local Macy's finally put it on display, when I thought it was discontinued, this fragrance opens up with a fruity, cinnamon combo that is to die for, way better than I expected, and it stays like that on my skin, you do get some tobacco and a little cumin which for some reason I really like, unlike spice bomb extreme which sadly has too much cumin on my skin, sprinkles of cumin, touches of vanilla towards the dry down, and 6hrs of longevity with moderate projection, stunning fragrance from Azzaro.

Simplemente un complemento perfecto para alguien que busca oler varonil sin dejar denso el aire, limpio con personalidad.

This is among my favorite scents. It presents as a leather fragrance at heart but a laid-back and very wearable one thanks to the sweet fruity notes and warm tobacco. It's hard for me to pick up very many particular notes because it's all very smooth and well-blended. The overall effect is a wonderful sort of old school masculine leather made very modern. This is a fabulous cool weather scent and a great date night choice. I get good but not massive longevity with nice projection for the first couple of hours. Love it.

Absolutely drop dead gorgeous tobacco fougere. It's so fresh tropical and spicy oriental at the same time. This is like if we take Invictus, infuse it with some booz and tobacco, sprinkle a little cinnamon and also throw some very ripe sweet lemon. I can't agree more with those who claim this the best flanker in the line. This is gold colored Invictus if that makes sense. Just have to dress up a bit in my opinion but doesn't matter. Also season doesn't matter but trigger does. Otherwise it's versatile.

I had others by Azarro and gave them all away. This is a great aromatic fragrance with lavender, some spiciness and some mild sweetness. I selected it over the others, because it had way more depth and complexity. Extremely well made for the price. Personally, I'm really not interested in much at this price range. Generally, I don't like that chemical smell I detect with ones under $80. Yes, it's obvious you're wearing a clone. I long await the day when the ethyl maltol bombs go away.

The way it opens with the Mandarin and Cinnamon, it fullfills my heart. Its really sweet, fruity, really sexy. Spicy after drydown, really strong cinnamon. Leather in the end. I just love the way its smells, its perfect for cold winter and nightime. Holds up well against the cold, and makes it warm. Lasts around 7 hours with moderate projection. I got a lot of compliments with this, women love it. Amazing for dating. Its masculine, good value, and lovely. I can recommend it!

Just would like to repeat what some others already did below - Michel Girard and Quentin Bisch...thanks for creating this masterpiece...! I have almost all of them and for me this is the BEST in the whole line and most unique of them all. the nearest that comes to this DNA is "Most Wanted" flanker (black bottle). Not suitable for office as its really strong and a bit polarising. I feel this is more appropriate for family and evening occasions. Beautiful though.

Masculine and sexy, kind of old school tobacco-cinnamon cologne with fruity & leathery notes, little bit of incense. Excellent performance and longevity. Worth noting I have Most Wanted Parfum and EDP too and this shares ZERO dna with those (at least to my nose) this is more classic macho much less gourmand - havent tried original Wanted but I assume this is closer to that, I dunno what that curly chick was on about but yeah.

I just worn this today and I realised how much oak moss is in there. I have a real oak moss absolute at home and I'm very familiar with the smell. Here is plenty of it in the dry down. Very bold decision from Azzaro. Very interesting fragrance with many facets. The fruit notes however come across a bit too sweet and in your face. This is something that I personally don't like. The rest is very well done.

I absolutely love this fragrance. My dad has always had this one on hand since I can remember, and now I see why. It's a very dark, deep, and seductive scent, perfect for date nights. Definitely a fall/winter scent, but could be worn at night during any season. (I feel like this is an underrated Azarro fragrance, or at least I never see anyone talking about it)

A great fragrance, it can be a little bit overwhelming so be conservative when spraying. As other reviewers have said, it is a little bit of everything, something with fruits, spices, wood, tobacco, leather... Skip it during the day and during hot days. But at night and on colder weather... my girlfriend can't get enough of it, and frankly, neither can I.

it breaks my heart to say that 'wanted by night' was discontinued sometime between late 2023 and early 2024. this scent is honestly addictive to smell. to my nose i dont really pick up any orange, its's more cinnamon heavy with an almost boozy quality to it. its so seductive, and if you can find a bottle for a good price, i would definitely recommend.

I bought this for my husband after smelling it on a sample and this is the sexiest cologne I've ever smelt. His skin pulls the sweet tobacco and spices out the strongest which is just absolutely lovely. I cannot stop smelling him. It's a long lasting perfume with a decent sillage. It smells sophisticated and different. Definitely a wonderful creation.

I like this stuff, but I would LOVE it if it didn't include cumin. Cumin almost always smells like underarm BO, but thankfully it fades quick. It's a similar issue with Spicebomb Extreme. Just unecessary addition of cumin that clashes with the rest of the notes, both this and SBE would be top tier winter scents for me if not for the cumin.

Wow, this one caught me by surprise. It was on sale for $50 at Macys so I figured it would be mid, but it’s amazing. It has this spicy, slightly soapy scent that is totally different from the other wanted flankers. Performance is really solid too. I’ve since bought a backup bottle because this needs to be a permanent part of my collection.

Lovely fragrance! This can be worn in all seasons, even in cooler summer days/summer nights. The opening is amazing, there's a lot of sweet cinnamon-y citrus, while the dry down is much darker. The dry down is where the tobacco and the spices shine. Overall a very very good all rounder to have in your collection.

After the normal "Wanted" this is the best right next to it, although it feels more "Wintery" or just better for Night Time, it will be usable all-around if you're know to be smelled before seen, it's not bad if you don't let it dominate you, as any strong perfume, use it, and don't let the perfume "wear you" :)

I know it saids wanted by night but it can be used all day long projects great all year long ( except summer days ) that orange cinnamon top notes is just perfect, not so loud , and the dry down of woodsy amber vanilla is just perfect I rarely purchase designer brand but this one is one of my exceptions 8/10

בושם כל יכול ובין האהובים עליי, חד משמעית הבושם טבק הכי טוב שיש לי וזה עוד משונא טבק. ריח לכל יציאה בחורף לדעתי. בין עם זה אירועים מסיבות ואפילו במיטה. פירותי עם הטבק שזה הופך אותו למיוחד וטוב.וכמובן כמובן שהקינמון המדהים בו. בקיצור, בושם קינמון וטבק שלא מתוק ברמה שתריח כמו קקה, אלא כמו גבר חושלוקים. 10/10

Azzaros best frag of all time, by far. It is its own category, nothing smells even close to this profile which gives it unicity in spades. The musky cumin with deep spice makes it animalic naughty night time beast balanced with exotic fruity freshness that lifts the mood into pure ecstacy.

I bought it and it didn't let me down, it's a very underrated fragrance, it has a solid projection for its price, its not overwhelming in between strong and moderate but it does the job for me, has projection 3-4 hours and maybe few more on the skin, perfect for winter mornings/nights.

Huge underdog from azzaro, the perfect mix of fresh aromatic witch a beautiful sweet twist. You can pull this one even in the winter or summer night out, the sweetness will not be headache inducting. You have to gatekeep this one. I am definitely going to purchase another bottle again.

Huge fan and one of my few that I will get a backup bottle since it's discontinued. May get 2 back ups. Love this scent! It's not just manly, it's a Man's scent! I feel like John Wayne would have loved this. Look him up young folks. Must have this in my collection for all time.

Perfect signature scent. One of the best fragrances, no honestly the best fragrance I've ever smelt. Warm, cozy and spicy but well balanced with citrus that it doesn't make you get nausea by the spices and warmness. Simply perfect. But wouldn't go on everyone.

Hands down the best thing azzaro ever made. Masterpiece. Crazy unique. Ladies love it. Its dark. Its playful. Its masculine. Its badass. Its everything you could want in a man's fragrance. This will always get some use in the winter months. 12/10

Super good. Cinnamon, tobacco, incense, and the fruity note really makes this so unique. Not at all a gourmand or too heavy smelling, perfectly suitable for anytime except super hot weather. Very unique and addictive I recommend if you can find.

Date night/Winter night out, and don't want to smell like every other guy. Get this. Smells fantastic, Masculine and mature. A little goes a long way with this stuff. I don't know why it's slept on compared to the lineup, but glad it is.

Definitely made for a nice date night. The projection is great and easily the best azzaro fragrance in my personal collection. I would highly recommend buying two due to shortage/fragrance being retired and sold from third party sellers.

Wonderful blend of notes in this fragrance. I love the cinnamon and citrus combination. It is a pretty strong fragrance so you only need maybe 5 sprays. Lasts long as well and has a decent price tag. Snag it up from a discounter!

Incredible manly fragrance! to me this is more of a fruity spicy blue fragrance, the lavender give it a freshness while underneath has a bublegummy vibe, the fruity notes blended with the cinnamon and the very woody drydown!

The best warm perfume 2018 , it goes in the same direction of azzaro wanted + the one edp by dolce and gabana , but it has an excellent performance and it last 9 hrs + with 3 hours of projection , a blind buy for this winter

What can I say. At first I loved this but now I have come to admit that it's not that great. It fools you with a strong quality gorgeous opening but drys down to a weak performing cheap quality lame disappointment

I just got it today sprayed it twice on my hoodie before heading out. So far it has been amazing, the cinnamon, orange, and fruity notes stand out the most. Amazing scent for night time as the name suggests. 8/10
