Cap d’Antibes

These notes should have been more exciting for me, but are not. Perhaps better results will show in the heat. This is not particularly pretty in the cold. Reads very unisex to my nose (from my skin). I love fig notes and was interested in the eucalyptus. This is mostly citrus and saltiness on me. Very clean smelling and a little spiky (like sea spray). Smells invigorating but I don't want it. UPDATE: I get compliments every time I test this on me. Stays on my clothes all day. It's fresh. It's inoffensive. All those notes are a perfect blending of what feels like being freshly showered by a pristine beach. I'm not excited by this, but I find myself taking it in throughout the day. It's put together but a bit serious. Try if: You're a sophisticated mermaid. Or if you really enjoy salty, sea-worthy scents that don't smell like SPF and tropical drinks. I don't particularly like salty scents or scents that remind me of skin, but I think this is one I'm keeping for now. ***OFFICIALLY LIKE, and now in my "Summer Heat" shelf here. It's perfect for high heat! Aromatic and airy. Opens up from serious to a little more carefree...serious, on a vacation! Radiates an amazing marine-fig. So excited there's a dry, green, slightly floral, fig tree present now. Still very unisex and invigorating for anyone who likes earthy and fresh scents that sits a bit close to the skin, but wears well all day. Fairly linear. Wonderful!

I picked up a twist-up set of this and Chateau Vizcaya for a song at Nordstrom Rack recently. They were blind buys - I'd never even heard of either. This is more fresh. Vizcaya is tropical. Cap D'Antibes is fresh citrus with white flowers and light woods. So far I don't get any fig. I definitely see this as a spring/summer perfume. It's now full winter so it's probably not the best time to test it. I'll try again as it gets warmer and update if I have some more concrete feelings. I think this will be an easy reach. It would be good in close quarters when you don't want to offend. If you're looking for beast mode, massive projection - this is not that. It's more quiet and refined. The twist-up styling is terrific for just throwing in your bag and taking along when you need a quick refresh. Fun fact - I either have a travel size or make a decant of all of my fragrances so I'm always happy to buy one in a format that allows me to skip that extra step.

I received a sample . At first i preferred the one in the pink bottle. I wore to work and I noticed that I continued to smell it throughout the day. I’m new to fragrance so I can’t describe like most of you but I will say that I enjoyed the fragrance throughout the day. I’m not one who likes overpowering perfume. More than a skin scent but not loud.
