Fleurs de Nuit

How is this fragrance so underrated? It seems like people generally prefer the original Badgley Mischka that has sweeter accords. I could tell that one wasn’t going to be my style judging from the notes but I LOVE Fleurs. It’s a perfect fit for the clean girl aesthetic and it’s one of those ‘non perfume’ perfumes. It is predominantly jasmine to my nose but I feel like it mingles well with the rest of the notes. I also love the comment below mine about soaking in a bathtub in a luxury resort in Greece. Yes! I can totally envision that with this scent. This captures the smell of a bubble bath after you have soaked in the sun on the beach all day. I really do detect all of the individual aspects that build a beach profile: the sun, the sand, and the suntan oil/lotion. The orange blossom and citrus project through bringing a clean, slight soapiness. The amber makes this a little sensual while a creamy sweetness peeking through differentiates this from being a standard clean or beachy fragrance. Essentially, it has a little bit of everything I enjoy and yet not anything excessively. I feel like it’s a good combination of Child, Glow, and Jessica McClintock. Those are three of my personal faves so it makes sense that I would gravitate towards this. I am surprised that Child especially is never compared to Fleurs. They have similar dominances of jasmine and magnolia and although they aren’t 1:1 dupes, I feel like they could be in the same fragrance family. Also like Child, this is an ethereal fragrance with impressive sillage and longevity. It’s not heavy but projects naturally on your skin to gently remind you of its intimate presence. Layering them together creates a beautiful, unique combination. You can get this very affordably and like others have mentioned, the bottle is beautiful. I am really happy with this!

Fleurs De Nuit is all about white flowers and then, even more flowers, Folks. No fruits. No woods. Just strong florals. Even though I am not a big fan of florals I can tell Fleurs De Nuit smells extremely elegant and would suit an extremely confident woman. It is bold, powerful, rich, classy, without any sweetness or fruity undertones. If I was asked what Fleurs De Nuit taste like, I would say bitter-sweet but highly addictive. It will not be my winter fragrance as I have impression I would freeze to death if I wore it on a chilly, snowy morning. Spring and cool summer nights would be best time to make friends with Fleurs De Nuit. Not for shy or faint hearted. The bottle, like all BM bottles, is lovely and classy. Lasting power and silage are to die for. Even though the olfactive group is not my favourite, my heart tells me I've found my number one for the next year spring. Therefore it scores 10/10. P.S. The fragrance name should really be Fleurs De Jour as it reminds me of jasmine and magnolia blossom on a spring sunny day :-)

This was one of those where I read the notes and said to myself "this sounds like a scent for me!" and got a bottle ... and am VERY pleased. I was so pleased I immediately went back to eBay and ordered ANOTHER bottle! It's just a lovely scent - the florals mix together to create such a lovely scent; it is somewhat difficult to describe by someone like me who doesn't have the education to distinguish notes, but I can definitely tell that this is a quality perfume. It goes on sweet and clean and dries down without becoming cloying, florals mixing and dancing throughout, like walking through a garden in bloom with the most delicious-smelling flowers to be found. I think it is one to be used any time, any place (personally - because I rarely do anything special to warrant "special" use stuff, so for me any time is the right time to use stuff I like!), but I can understand when people say it's for special nights, romantic use, etc., because it really is beautiful. Highly recommended to those who love florals!

I can't remember how I stumbled onto this, maybe because I had some Badgley Mischka items in my wardrobe and looked up to see whether this design duo had a perfume (or two) in their repertoire. I was immediately attracted to the classy/sexy bottle and the name (French for Night Flowers). Receiving a NWOB 4 oz bottle from Ebay, I immediately tried it and the initial spritzes bloomed into a spicy floral that was magic with my chemistry. It's not a "flower bomb" type of fragrance, nor a sweet floral; rather that the fragrance is tempered by other notes that make it sensual and complex. With a couple of brief spritzes, the dry down turns into more of a radiant skin scent within a couple of hours on me, but that's ok; I am working in a lot of group situations lately, and don't want to overwhelm. One of my male colleagues remarked recently that I smelled "intoxicating" which pleased me no end!

Gorgeous white floral of jasmine and orange blossom that opens with magnolia touched with a little peach, bringing to mind the saucer magnolias that bloom in early spring where I live. They are sweetly floral and a little fruity, and exactly how it smells in this perfume. The composition as a whole is beautiful and performance is terrific too. Despite being soft and unimposing, this is workhorse that I was aware of throughout the day. I'm mad at myself for having put off buying this when I could have been enjoying it all along. Despite knowing one of my favorite perfumers, Rodrigo Flores-Roux, created this the contradictory reviews had me hesitant. Just goes to show that while reviews can be helpful, there is nothing like trying it yourself as everyone has different tastes and chemistry. I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought it after all. It really is one heck of a beautiful perfume.

I am going to GUSH. This fragrance is my personal white floral HEAVEN. It's so beautiful I am struggling to find the words to tell you how beautiful I think it is. Jasmine definitely dominates but I also get lily-of-the-valley even though it's not in there. It feels like every light sweet white floral note blending together in the most magical way. I am definitely a fall/winter person but this fragrance is enough to make me dream of springtime. The strikingly beautiful bottle is a lovely bonus. I've bought a few backup bottles as I fear it will become hard to find. Can you tell that I love it?

That's a lovely,modern and feminime perfume. Great for everyday use. I like to use it when I'm tired or dull, it is so refreshing in 2 minutes I'm myself again. I think the white flowers suits almost every women, it could be a good gift idea too. I actually bought it without trying out, in a huge sale at strawberrynet, so I don't know the original prize, but if it ever runs out, I might repurchase. The only con is the bottle, which looks lovely but impossible to carry around, the top comes off easily and it's too big. But if you want to use it at home only, it's fine.

I adore this, it's a shame it is discontinued. I know what they *say* we should smell, but my nose knows definitely crisp fruit, citrusy and short lived. The floral plays its part next, sweeter and sweeter as time goes forward. It ends as honeysuckle with a little literal honey towards the end. The only way it could be better is if it was stronger and longer lived. I guess it's like butterflies that way.

I love it!! I got it in the mail today, a blind buy. after reading the reviews I was afraid it would be too fresh and green, like the Face a Face by Faconnable that pretty much smelled like men perfume. I'm so glad this doesn't! it's super feminine and subtly sweet. This is really a classy and pleasant scent, very natural and flowery... I highly recommend

This perfume reminds me of Marc Jacobs (the original) with loads of creamy jasmine, very similar like a sister family connection. I loved it, just simply floral and very feminine, perfect for summer, night or day.

This good smelling juice is the twin of Beyond Paradise, Estee Lauder, only a bit softer, which means sweeter with better longevity on the skin than BP (that one is more sharp). One of the nicest bottles around.

despite what others say ,this does remind me of fracas alot!,love fracas, love this ..Silky white floral ,ultra feminine ...pretty , fresh ,just sooooooo beautiful .A must for any white floral lover .

Love it. Had struggled with finding a romantic sophisticated floral that wasn't too heavy/warm/smothering (nauseating) or too green (headache-inducing). This is perfect, I love it, I'm keeping it!

This is straight up magnolia on me. And you know what, I’m not mad about it. This is gorgeous. It’s also tough to overspray. A few sprays does last all day however.

LOVE IT!! just makes me feel so sophistcated. Its long lasting, and the floral notes are lovely. I like how the wood and amber notes give it an edge. SO GOOD

A perfectly acceptable generic white floral for day to day wear. As others have pointed out, there is nothing ground breaking here, unlike BM's first release. It's a bit artificial and just teeters on the edge of cloying for me. I will definitely wear it, but I own so many far superior jasmines and white florals that it won't be the first I reach for. It does smooth out a bit after about 30 minutes, and the magnolia and orange flower add a somewhat citrus-like lift to the whole thing. It has good longevity and projection with just 2 or 3 sprays - less than that if you prefer a more intimate effect. All in all, a successful blind buy for the low price I paid, but if you want a higher quality jasmine/white floral, you might want to pass on this one. EDIT 10/6/2020 - I tried this again recently, and reading through my review, I don't think I gave this enough credit It really IS a beautiful white floral. Not sure what made me think it was almost cloying previously, perhaps the weather, but you can do much worse for a lot more money than this one goes for on Ebay. I noticed that BM has a new Badgley Mishka EDP, that is different from the lovely Badgley Mishka that earned 5 stars in The Guide. It actually seems to be more of a combination of this one and the original, at least the notes overlap quite a bit. I don't know if that mean this and the OG have been discontinued, but keep in mind that the prices may go up if they have been. I have fallen in love with both.

I do not understand the complaints about the name of Badgley Mischka FLEURS DE NUIT. Seems pretty straightforward to me: this is essentially a night-blooming jasmine quasi-soliflore. The jasmine definitely dominates the composition and makes this a white flower lovers-only perfume. FLEURS DE NUIT offers a big, stern, and relatively dry dose of only mildly indolic jasmine. The sillage and longevity are both excellent, and a little goes a long, long way. I generally prefer more buttery, lush presentations of white flowers, as in MARC JACOBS and MJ ESSENCE, but FLEURS DE NUIT is nice, for what it is. (There is zero tuberose in FLEURS DE NUIT, so there's no point in comparing/contrasting it to FRACAS or CARNAL FLOWER.) Perhaps I should be glad that my 100ml will suffice for the rest of my life, as I would find it very difficult to part with the gorgeous bottle, one of the nicest I've seen. I usually keep my perfumes hidden away in the dark, but this one is so beautiful that I'm tempted to endanger the juice by putting the bottle out on display.

I got a generous sample of the lovely jaspersen of this one, after I was dying to test this, due to the magically beautiful bottle, the fact that I like the original Badgley Mischka and that I should like it according to the notes. And yes I do! To me Fleurs de Nuit opens with slightly sugared sweet-and-sour but clear white flowers, which, while it's not listed in the notes, I detect as lily-of-the-valley. Later it dries down in a quite casual (but high quality still) floral scent which really reminds me of some other perfume my mother used to wear when I was younger, but I just can't put my finger on it. I'll ask her if she maybe reminds. The sillage is quite soft and don't know yet about the staying power, but all in all I do not believe it is really a night fragrance as the name assumes, but just highly likable, age-friendly and very wearable! As long as you have not too high I-hope-for-a-interesting-niche-masterpiece expectations everything should be fine :)

This perfume is very sweet, but also very fresh and clean. I can't smell anything but fresh flowers, which is too bad since I love peach and amber. Every now and then there is a scent that might be peach... then it quickly fades into the background. The fresh sweet floral has no softness or anything lush or creamy going for it, and is not romantic the way floral perfumes can be. Instead it is very clear and crystalline, which is strange because it projects well enough There's something that seems very modern, maybe because it seems simple, squeaky clean, no powder or vanilla or musky notes like more classic florals, like a glass sculpture of a flower instead of an actual flower. I used to wear this several times a week and never really got tired of it. Also, I even got a few compliments.

I rarely like jasmine as a starring note, but Fleurs de Nuit features this powerhouse blossom to perfection. To start, the clean, citrus notes keep the rich flowers curiously fresh without any inherent zing. Magnolia provides the jasmine with a deep, velvety introduction, while orange blossoms weave their playfulness throughout, taming jasmine's inebriating bouquet. The addition of peach gives the fragrance a fleshy quality that helps the flowers bloom continously, making them appear 'alive.' The base lends a warm and radiant sophistication that dries down to a lingering romantic trail. This what a walk after dark in the springtime smells like, in a corner of the city lined with Victorian townhouses covered with trellissed blossoming vines.

I loved it from the first site. Quite strong. Very rezalistic note, very familiar something...Lily in the late evening...Jasmine...Flowers you do not keep in your bedroom for the night, so strong aroma is one won't be able to sleep. I visulaised wedding, this wd be a nice wedding scent, or formal maybe. I liked it. However i have very slight feeling that love affair may not be long-lasting. I don't know why. Maybe, because it has opened it;s beauty too soon, without leaving much for imagination. Anyhow, I will happily have and use it-it is walking on the same path as my other quite likable fumes. Interesting to compare it with my fav ourite Murmure, both r white flowers.

Blind buy, this is a nice sweet floral perfume. It does not last long on me so I can't really say much about drydown etc. It smells sweet right out of the bottle, very pleasant, reminds me of Chloe. This is not different from any number of florals out there. It does have a richness (expensive feel) to it. It is immediately likeable, so you can put it on and go, no waiting for it to become socially acceptable. There is no artificial, alcohol smell like so many new perfumes have. I just wish it would last longer. Will have to wait and see how often I use it before I can comment on weather or not I would repurchase this.

Now I have it. It is nice but not as special and is quite discrete. Sillage lays very low, all in all I can understand why it is discontinued, sorry folks..Yes, this is a white floral with added sweet notes that make me think a little about rippen fruits, over rippen that is..Tuberose is also present, jasmine of course.This Badgley Mischka fragrances are all, so praised by critics, I am wondering why, not even all these huge praises did not led to succes. Maybe there is an explanation, simply their are not as good. I also find the packaging cheap looking, pictures look much better than reality itself. Dissapointed..

This is the best blind buy I have made so far. I just got this delivered in the mail today. And I have to day, I am soooo happy with my purchase. When I first sprayed it, it was sharp and maybe even a bit overpowering, and for some reason I smelled ylang ylang and this perfume doesn't have any in it. But as time went by it became this beautiful warm, creamy scent. As one would expect with a white floral. Now, the description described this as floral and fruity, but I do not really get the fruity. The bottle is just as gorgeous in person. For the price it cost, I would definitely recommend it.

Firstly, the bottle is stunning! This reminds me of a lighter version of Breathless by Victoria's Secret. It does have a lovely heir of sophistication and is great during the spring and summer months. The stone fruit and jasmine jumps out at me first and the scent soon drys down with a nice musky and ambery finish. It is fresh and it smells lovely when sprayed on first thing in the morning. It makes me feel zesty and clean. There's one thing that is a little disappointing and that's the longevity. It needs to last a little bit longer. That being said, it is a beautiful scent.

Badgley Mischka's 1st perfume effort was an attention grabbing poweerhouse, love it or leave it. A boozy fruit liquer with caramel drizzle drydown. Their 2nd offering is far less controversial, bordering on just plain dull. Yes, there's lemony jasmine and yes, there's a little orange blossom and yes, I pick up the magnolia. So, yes, it is a white floral. But it's also a typical fragrance of the last 5 years - while pretty, just a little too vague with no lasting power or sillage. Watery, non-dimensional, wan, thin, flat and boring, boring, boring... Heavy, HEAVY sigh...

I'm very picky about my florals...and this is my favorite floral in my collection right now! It's beautiful, elegant, romantic, and sophisticated. I'm not very good at distinguishing floral notes, but I CAN detect lilly, peach, and amber. I like it because the notes are balanced very well - not too green, not too sweet, not too heady. Regarding it's staying power, I've been wearing it now for almost four hours and I have no complaints yet. Aeternitas - try it on your skin! You might be surprised!

I am so impressed with Badgley Mischka perfumes in general. I have tried 2 of the three and they both have my attention! Fleurs de Nuit smells like nothing else I have come across in perfume so far. I am really suprised that it is so floral considering that half the top/heart notes are fruits! Luckily, the fruits in here are very sophisticated and adult. Magnolia is doing its usual glorious slowdance, partnered by Jasmine. I think this is an excellent romantic perfume.

At first smell I thought this fragrance would be too white and floral. It started off very intensely with the jasmine and magnolia. After about half an hour the heavy florals gave way to underlying bergamot and amber adding a lovely layer of spice. Definitely a romantic and sophisticated scent. Perfect for night time but I'm not good at sticking to such rules so would wear it all day. Like nothing else in my collection and a very happy blind buy.

A blind buy some years ago, I now regret that I went through the 100 ml bottle in one summer as it is discontinued. I agree that it may not be as complex as some other jasmins out there but who cares - this one was The One for me! A flirty evening fruity floral that was at its best on warm summer evenings...Ahh.

This is a lovely sheer white floral, and I'm not terribly keen on florals either. This also makes me think of water lily, even though it's not listed in the notes. Definitely a spring/summer scent, fresh yet smooth. Could be overwhelming if you apply more than two sprays. Longevity is very good.

Smells like a light version of Paloma Picasso.. Not a fan of it but it wasn't smell too bad. Scent life is short.. almost disappear within 2 hours. I only use it a couple of time and alreay got tired of it.. =T

The first notes didn't impress me that much but as it settled down I had to change my mind. The jasmine notes just make me feel all summer night with a windows open to a light breeze.

Very appealing fruity floral, in the same genre as J'Adore- not quite as sparkling, but delightful just the same-

Magnolia ruins this for me. In every season and weather, the magnolia takes over and magnolia does not work well with my chemistry. All i smell is bitter lemon sour even and i dont get to enjoy this one. I will try this on fabric and see if i can somehow be able to use this. I wish it didnt have magnolia cuz then im sure id enjoy it based on the other notes. I didnt know magnolia was my enemy until i noticed that the frags that dont work for me all have that one note in common.

If Givenchy Organza and Jennifer Aniston's fragrance Lolavie had a baby, I imagine it would turn out quite like this. There's a clean, beachy sort of jasmine featured here that is very similar to the jasmine note in Jennifer Aniston's fragrance, though the projection is greatly improved here. But where Lolavie stays light and beachy, this goes in another direction with the added sweetness and touch of spice. Its the same sweetness and spice found in Givenchy's Organza, a very classic type of spice that in a way relates it to Fracas (as the review below me mentions.) Personally, I feel that the sweetness rather ruins the fragrance for me. I'm a huge addict when it comes to feminine jasmine fragrances, but there's something about that sweetness here that I just find cloying and outdated. Its very crushing as I do adore the jasmine here, and the sillage is fantastic.

A disastrous blind buy. Upon first spraying it smells synthetic. My daughter says it smells like bug spray and she is right, it smells exactly like bug spray on me. Pretty bottle though. I would be interested in swapping this for something else. It's still in the original package it came in.

Follow-ups to fist time successes are notoriously difficult and Badgley Mischka appear to have tried to recreate the win by following a similar strategy to the original Badgley Mischka. The original perfume was a syrupy fruitchouli released in 2006. While the genre may have been generic, the perfume was not. It dressed up a shady fruitchouli fragrance not with the intent to make it make it more acceptable, but to make it better than any others. It included layers of rot and booze that were more potent than any simple fruity sweetness. It smelled terrific and was a clever commentary on a genre that was considered hackneyed by the time of its release. Badgley Mischka’s sophomore offering, Fleurs de Nuit, suggests jasmine and its sweet-sweaty atmosphere. Even more, it implies night-blooming jasmine, the vampire of fragrant plants, with a narcotic miasma of flowers and flesh. Unfortunately, having built expectation into its name, Fleurs de Nuit defeats itself. Without the requisite seamy side, and with the addition of a half can of cling peaches, FdN is both loud and vague, like someone who gestures madly to get your attention, and once she has it, forgets what she meant to say. It’s not that FdN isn’t pretty. It’s a simple, clean jasmine with no sharp edges and no distortion. It simply doesn’t stand out either on its own or in comparison to other fruity florals. The original Badgely Mischka gave buyers a category they thought they knew and then pulled out the rug from under them. FdN takes the first part of the equation, using an easily recognizable category, here a sweet fruity floral, but neglects the other half---the twist, the subversion. Aiming for the center of the market, but with nothing new to add to it, FdN comes off as both generic and derivative. I’m not so much disappointed in the perfume itself as I am surprised and perplexed. Given the smarts and audacity of the first release, why follow up with a such a timid strategy? The answer, and the fun, really, lies in the next flaw in the strategy. FdN apparently tries to win buyers with the dual strategy of the generic (larger potential market share) and the derivative (the herd instinct.) The herd instinct, perfected in men’s fragrance and marketing, relies on the principle of safe buying, which is to say that buyers will want to try something that they identify as different from what they have, yet the distinction is so slight as to be indistinguishable to most others. It’s the daring mocha caramel 3-shot decaf trenta latte with 1 % no foam drinker one day branching out and trying the same WITH foam. Here’s the derivation: To my nose, FdN smells like an undisguised attempt to make the jasmine version of Juicy Couture’s tuberose. Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture stripped the tuberose note of its dark side and paired it with a sweet, plastic musk sheen. Where JC’s acetone muskiness shellacs the tuberose so that we see it through a prism, FdN coats its rinsed-clean flower with a sugary fruitiness and winds up like a large scale blur. In drydown, JC hangs together solidly. In FdN, although there is a slight reference to the original Badgely Mischka’s fruity ‘flavor’, it’s a superficial allusion. FdN skips anything like the original’s brandy/ammonia decay, and the drydown is a fairly quick jump from blurred to bland. I don’t like to berate a perfume. In this case, though, the perfume is so formulaic, and the strategy of diving to the bottom of the middle of the pack is...what? Miscalculated? Cynical? A counterintuitive attempt to manage high expectations? For high-end frock makers to want to compete head-to-head a maker of garish track suits and diamante accessories, at least symbolically through their perfumes, is baffling. The follow-through from perfume to packaging is consistent, though. I’ve always thought that the original Badgely Mischka bottle was an example of unintended kitsch, but FdN tops it, making the Juicy Couture spangly bottle seem like a spectacle of good taste.

Fleurs de Nuit starts creamy, jasminy and green...and that was recieved in that order. It's quite odd for me, as I always associate green with sharp or crisp, and creamy with milk and thick. But this creaminess is sheer. So...FdN is all about contrast. Sounds promising, right? Well, on me...bland all the way! The juice is linear, velvety but translucent. It's a "people notice I'm standing here...." perfume, but not an attention getter. Safe, simple, clean white floral type with a sweet fruity edge. Jasmine is the main actor, Magnolia is the supporting role that contributes to the creamyness of the juice. Other than that, there's nothing much to say than the perfume stays like this through the end. While reviewing, I'm trying so hard to be positive, but I couldn't praise more couldn't write more. It's totally that mediocre. Well, I still give a "like" on the bottle, though. It's a nice square-ish diamond shape and silvery lacey print, beautiful to observe from afar. But in details, it's lacking. The print on the metal plate is not fitted and wobbly. The bottle's quality is a bit rough for the brand that they represent, way below Hermes's Jour de Hermes or Bottega Veneta, which are for me, the best quality bottles. Smooth and precise! Back to the juice, apart from my negative comments, FdN might works its magic on you. If you're bored with loud and heavy perfumes, need an escape and rest your nose. Maybe you could try FdN, it's calming and relaxing. At least, it's working for me!

I just purchased this perfume a few weeks ago and I really wasn't expecting much but for the cheap price I paid I was blown away!I love white florals but they do have a tendency to bother my nose and can be to heavy sometimes.This is more like a solar floral and if your expecting something complex you will be disappointed.This is very well blended and jasmine and lily are the dominate notes on my skin.It is sweet and the sweetness comes from the white peach I believe.I would not consider this a fruity fragrance but the white peach adds a sweetness and keeps the florals from becoming cloying.The base notes are very soft and the fragrance does not change much on the skin.This was very long lasting on my dry skin.This is a cross between beyond paradise and marc jacobs signature but better quality in my opinion.This could be worn year round and I would classify this as a classy elegant tropical floral.Its not sexy in a night club way but sexy in a tropical garden at night way with a warm ocean breeze blowing softly on your warm skin while the smell of night blooming jasmine fills the air with its sweet heady scent.It does take me to another place which is what I look for in a fragrance.This is beautiful and elegant and was a great blind by for me!You can get this at fragrancenet or fragrancex for around 35.00US dollars.If you love florals you should really give this a try.A real beauty for jasmine and lily lovers!

Delights 1000 of endless daydreams! I consider it one of my best purchases in the dark, oh beautiful blind this one! I've had it for 10 years and with each passing day I'm just proud of its evolution, which happens in a different way with each use it undergoes. White floral right from the opening that refers to ceremonies celebrating peace, love, affection and good alliances. Floral that evokes noble childhood feelings, moments of glory, flowery and fruity, but an oily fruity that even refers to the notes of Ylang Ylang! In the dry down it becomes an aromatic perfume, with citrus nuances and slightly bitter touches in the background, however its white floral footprint here is more intense, it is dirty and brings indolent characteristics to the extremes of its olfactory polarities, that is, to the at the same time that its white notes reveal themselves in a dirty way, they behave within an incredible intensity and become clean; daydream indeed! Bathtub-level drying in a luxury hotel in Greece! Smell of juicy bath with more smell of hydrated skin, with an oily, resinous Amber and touches of mature humid noble wood; I also feel the white aroma that is more subtle here, yet with the same dirty, rich and admirable footprint. Perfume with an "infinite" trail and a notoriously lasting 20 hours!

Fleurs de Nuit is a nice change from the rich fruity scents that this house is primarily known for. This fragrance is a delicate and refreshing bouquet of jasmine, lily, orange blossom and magnolia. It's beautiful in the way that the florals have been complimented by a sugary hit of bergamot and quince. The scent itself is very lush and crisp. There may even be aldehydes in this composition because I can detect a soft powderiness in the heart and top notes. Fleurs de Nuit is not one of a kind, but it is truly breath-taking in a gorgeous, elegant and feminine way. In my books, Fleurs de Nuit is a sheer floral, not surprising that I see this fragrance on so many Fragrantica member's wishlists. The sillage and longevity are great, wonderfully balanced and well worth the big bucks. I'm a little surprised that Badgley Mischka didn't make more of a fuss when this was released, however its increasing popularity just goes to show how many people enjoy this fragrance. Fleurs de Nuit is mostly a scent for floral-lovers or people searching for a particularly soft and Spring-like scent. For that, I highly recommend.

Nobody has mentioned that this fragrance, now discontinued and cheap at the online discounters got a favourable mention in 'The Guide' I've owned it for a few years and I trot it out every now and then, with great pleasure, I might add. Jasmine fragrances are difficult. "Death by Jasmine' says Luca Turin of one powerhouse and expensive jasmine. Big, big, Tuberose, Jasmine or Orange Blossoms are not for me. This perfume clearly belongs to Cheap and Cheery in the category sense but it doesn't smell cheap and I'd put it up against 'Le Jasmin' by Annick Goutal at five times the price. The bottle is gorgeous, in that bathroom sort of way; I'd love to display it but I keep my fumes in a cool dark drawer.

i was looking for a new fragrance at my local winner's and than there was this big white box opened so i was like !!! what the ek! i decide to try it on my wrist & then it start... WOW!! very lovely white flowers not to over powering just the perfect dose & then there was this little sweet scent i was what fruit exactly is that!! mangue? peach? as i was walking around the store i kept smelling my wrist & i thought what a lovely everyday feminine smell very delight semll not to fruity & not too floral just perfect mixte . i kind of detect some soapy smell in it but i end up!! buying the 100ml for 25$ so i thought yah!! this is a very pretty heavy glass bottle & lovely smell

Funny, I was dying to try this one! Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by it when I tried it at Sephora. It may have been because I had sniffed a bunch of other perfumes before I got to this one, but I hardly smelled anything. It was so incredibly light, barely even there, but definitely floral. It's like a dull version of Versace Bright Crystal. However, I do love the original Badgley Mischka perfume (which ought to be added!). Perhaps I just need to try Fleurs de Nuit on my skin next time.

Juicy Couture put away the bleached blonde extensions, velour track suits, bedazzled designer denim, clear heeled platforms and overall Vegas aesthetic. Now she's older and wiser with a penchant for exquisitely cut black evening gowns, good leather, and dark lipstick. Do you recognize her? No? That's okay, because she'd prefer that you did not. Let her youth remain a distant memory so that she may live in the elegantly mysterious beauty of the now.

I was cleaning up my closet and found a 10ml of Fleurs de Nuit, I find it to be a luxurious floral, nice, not sharp, well done, and the drydown is rounded and yes light. It isn't what I usually wear but I admit it smells elegant, so for lovers of big florals, this is a nice option considering the price. It has a classic edge but refined, not oldish at all.

Aeternitas, I agree with you. This is a nice scent, very "jasminy." But it doesn't last. I sprayed it on my wrist, and it was gone in seconds. I have already commented on how frustrating I find this apparently new trend to make perfumes so ... ephemeral. I also have the original BM, and that is better.

A very successful blind buy - smells fabulous, lasts well, good sillage, gets lots of compliments. Lovely for a romantic dinner.

Ok I'm just gonna buy this for the bottle, no shame.
