Eau de Cristobal

The original EDT (EDT) and this Eau de Cristobal (Eau) are quite different from one another. Both are beautiful, but not interchangeable by any means. A quick description would be that for the Eau, the perfumers sort of flipped the emphasis on floral vs. oriental and added more fruit. The Eau stays much, much closer to the skin and is lacking in the thick fog of oriental base notes that makes the EDT what it is. There is a musky aspect, especially in the beginning, that just doesn't exist in the EDT. The Eau should work better in very hot weather, and will probably project more from heated skin.

Although I don’t like woody perfumes and I feel it’s more male like but this perfume belonged to my mother more than 15 years and I still love it and remember it’s mixed flowery citrus and woody notes as a perfect blend 💛

Preferred this to the original and had many flattering comments when wearing it

Brilliant fragrance, sweet oriental shawl but far too similar to Cristobal EDT! I don not mind since Cristobal is a little pearl in my collection :-) I cannot detect major differences between Eau De Cristobal and Cristobal EDT other than juice is sunny yellow in the latter and apricot colour in Eau de Cristobal. Love it! Great for office as not overpowering or for a romantic evening as it will, no doubt, grab attantion. I cannot say it is similar to anything I have ever smelled, so perfect for ladies which hate wearing copycatz! Apart from Balenciaga Paris - I consider it a masterpiece of Balenciaga House!

I thank systeme_d for the sample of Eau de cristobal. It settles down beatifully on the skin. It's a lovely oriental floral scent which will be a pleasent company even if you are in a group of people. Everyone will be pleased with your fragrant presence among them.
