No Comment

This is stunning. This is what a cypress scent should smell like while it develops on your skin. It is indeed a quiet, yet present scent. It doesn’t demand attention as it performs in a discreet yet confident way. There’s something very comforting about this fragrance. I think it is the way cypress and green notes are enveloped by resins and a delicate woody note. It smells like nature and pine forest in a very cozy way, but still bright. It’s just highly addictive because it’s that good, and it lasts all day on my skin which is a plus! This is the first of a 10-set discovery set and, boy, this one has already raised the bar. I just hope I don’t love all the others as much as my bank account cannot!

Out of the 3 Balenciaga fragrances I bought, this is by far my favourite. It's not like anything I've had before which is why it caught me off gaurd, but I love the warm freshness it brings. I tend to wear it during the day. It reminds me of being on a sunny holiday and getting fresh out the shower. My only complaint would be wishing it had a stronger sillage. But then admittedly in an ideal world I'd like my fragrance strong enough to enter the room before I do.

Woods and resins fusing to form a fresh - sunscreen - woody accord. There is a saline marine quality to it in the best way imaginable. A walk from the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild down to a small beach facing Villefranche. Champagne, trees, water, money. Enjoy.

My discovery set arrived this morning, and No Comment seemed like a natural place to start. Just a quick review for now... It's BRIGHT, blended and fresh. I dabbed only the tiniest drop on to the inside of my elbow, and it faded fast. I topped it up with another small drop on the back of my hand, and No Comment has become much more assertive, though without being in any way overbearing. It's been softly radiating for a few hours now, with no sign that it wants to quit. Satisfying! There's something quite coastal about No Comment, though it's sharp and bracing enough that I can imagine it working well in office settings just as well as more casual ones. More masc than unisex, but anyone with the right attitude can wear this well. It does NOT have the wintry melancholy of Encre Noire. It's woody, yes, but with a pleasantly piercing luminosity more reminiscent of Zoologist's Koala or even FM's Uncut Gem - much more tasteful than either, in my opinion. This will absolutely sing in warm climates.

No Comment is my favorite in the entire set of 10 new 2025 releases. It is very good, not great, but very good. No Comment is a silky, creamy, slightly sweet easy wear wood fragrance. I agree with others who suggest that there is a coumarin or maybe tonka component. It reminds me quite a bit of Zegna's Roman Wood, a discontinued fragrance I like very much. No Comment leans slightly masculine, but anyone could wear it easily. It would make a great office scent. And I think it is wearable all year round. It is the only one out of the ten in the set that I would consider buying a bottle of, even though the name "No Comment" is boring and very forgettable, in my opinion. All in all, the entire new fragrance line is underwhelming. 8/10 and a Fragrantica score of 4.2 from me.

Super transparent easy to put on cypress cologne with an airy kinda piquant scent and on skin over time, I get a woody coumarin presence but for the most part it is the minimal “put it on and go” scent of the brand it seems. Was expecting pine but wouldn’t classify this at all as piney, definitely cypress heavy with some chems boosting and modifying, very solid performance I think this would’ve been nice for around half its price

Indistinct lactonic-coumarin thing blurred out with stuff like hedione and musks with a slight herbal edge. Those greenish herbal notes are rather indistinct and hard to identify as "pine." If you're looking for more of a master-class on coumarin and pine, Dusita's Issara is a way to go (though that one is just as ridiculously expensive for what it is!)

How on earth is iris not listed as a note, that's literally all I'm getting from this. I'm not complaining, I do love a good iris perfume. But with notes of cypress, green notes, and resins I was expecting something much much different. It almost makes me wonder if the notes are even correct. This is quite similar to Prada l'homme. I feel like I'm catching a trend with this "Le Dix" collection, a lot of them smell eerily similar to other perfumes but with different listed notes.

This starts off like a piney, floral, citric, unisex fragrance that has some vanilla but eventually turns more and more masculine and actually ends up resembling Serge Lutens Gris Clair in some ways. That fragrance is predominantly known for lavender and incense. I recommend this, it smells really really good

yeah like the guy said below i moncler pour home with a sharp not well blended green pine not that seems to dominate for the whle durration of the wear. nothing special and not worth the price tag. Cheap smelling and sorta syntethic sadly

More unisex take on Cypress & Grapevine. Has a touch of powder mixed in with green woodiness and freshness. Smells fantastic.

Very fougere type with a strong amber presence - I think this is ambrocenide or norlimbanol...very diffusive and strong.

It's a woody scent but quite creamy. Smells a lot like Moncler pour homme with the pine note quite prominent.

The dry down smells like generic male blue fragrances the opening is quite unique tho
