After Rain

This is a very beautiful fragrance released by Parfums Balint, a relatively new Serbian niche brand from the small town of Kanjiža near the border with Hungary, in the midst of the massive Pannonian Basin - the boundless green plain that remained when the Pannonian Sea dried out several million years ago. According to the brand's official press release, After Rain is supposed to evoke early summer in the Pannonian plain: the smell of young wheat, corn, clover, chamomile, tomato, blackthorn, quince, linden and other trees, crops and vegetables, mixing with the smell of ozone and wet soil after the rain. I have to say that the perfumer Czaba Balint has recreated this olfactive landscape very realistically. This fragrance is fresh, ozonic, watery, herbal and aromatic. To my nose, the strongest notes are linden blossom, chamomile and tomato leaves. This fragrance is soft, natural-smelling and totally zen. I will be wearing it a lot during the scorching summer months.

In my opinion it's not that smell you get after rainfall but it's beautiful anyway 🥰 It's sweeter then I thought it would be I can definitely smell the hay and tomato leaf with sweetness that comes from blending all other notes I think Definitely it's worth of try since it's really interesting and unique smell ! Also it's good for all seasons to wear since you have sweet coziness for the winter but also you have freshness for the summer

It's an ethereal and watery fragrance, evokes feelings of running around in a field full of flowers, grasses and sunshine, with a small creek somewhere nearby. Naturalistic and happy, a very special fragrance.

not the petrichor smell but it does smell very zen-like, mix of florals and fruity, linden is almost like champaca, some melon and sweet green-ish notes

This is very gaggy for me and i don’t know why. The hay/wheat/corn silk is very prominent and not in a good way. It’s not a bad fragrance, it’s actually unique, but not for everybody and certainly not for any occasion.
