9mm

Ever since I've started collecting fragrances I've found myself tending toward traditionally feminine scents, floral openings with vanilla drydowns, maybe a hint of citrus or angelica to keep things acceptably interesting. So I thought I'd venture beyond my sweet bouquets of florals and try something so out there that I would dab it a couple times, shrug, and try to foist it off on my fragrance-hating husband (who, predictably, told me to get away from him with that vial). Besides, with a name like Ballistic Therapy 9mm, how could I pass up a little decant? So I bought it. And I LOVE it. After hitting you with a blast of gunpowder (pun intended), it settles down into a smooth, floral, woody musk. It's simultaneously dangerous and comforting, and pairs so nicely with other perfumes that need a little kick in the pants. I enjoy layering it with other florals, especially when I am feeling a bit prickly and want to avoid unsolicited human contact (which is most of the time, come to think of it). Is it wearable? Kind of. Would I wear it? Maybe not to a baby shower, but any other occasion where I want to make other people a little bit afraid of me, absolutely. It's such a unique scent, and like oxobrybryoxo said, it's worth picking up just to have it.

I was quite hesitant to test them because my mom tried these first and told me it's a generic male perfume. But then when I sprayed it onto myself DANG this developes really fun. On me pepper actually comes first and then it turns into gunpowder. I kept walking around smelling myself and I thought that I smell like a military museum exhibition lmao. This is really cool novelty, though I'm pretty sure I'm too cutesy to pull it off (also after few hours it makes my head hurt. It's pretty smokey and I had to wash it twice) but on someone bold this would be sooo cool.

I love the opening. It's raw real gunpowder smell on top of the bergamot. It's almost like a peppery grapefruit. It's my favorite part of the fragrance. It doesn't last long though and then you're left with a hot pepper floral scent with a twist of citrus. It's a unique summer type fragrance. A great twist on your typical citrus scent.

Smells like burning smoke from a gun barrel. It's a novelty scent and smells like something a cowboy would smell like.

Just picked up a sample and this stuff is VERY different. The opening definitely hits hard with the gunpowder and a slight lit cigarette undertone. As mentioned in the other review,it isn't gonna last too long. The drydown is a kinda dry charred citrus vibe yo my nose. Would i wear this? Rarely. Is it worth picking up for the artistry and uniqueness? Definitely!
