Wildbloom Vert

Sometimes I just want to smell fresh and fruity. This is the one I reach for on those days. Uncomplicated, no-brainer, just makes me smell good. If that makes it "boring" and "generic" to some, that's okay by me. Not every fragrance I own has to be complex and groundbreaking, I need some that are just pleasant and easy going. Great to wear to work, perfect for running errands on my days off, great for summer days when I'm not planning on going anywhere and just want to smell nice while hanging out at home. I don't really smell any coconut in this one. I mostly get apple, pear, and some green notes anchored by pleasant light musk and maybe a little woodiness. Smells like spring and summer to me. I really like this one and I'm glad to have it.

If you are blind buying this, it's beautiful. I wanted to try this because I saw that it was similar to Daisy, which I love. They are not exactly the same, but wow - I love it. It's sparkling. Green. It is less sweet than Versace Versense. It's a little like Haiku by Avon, but less lily. It's a little like Dolce by D&G but has more life to it. So it does belong in that group for sure. I saw mine at Burlington and I snagged 2 without even being able to try it, based on the reviews. Very fresh. Almost fizzy to me. I love it. Reminds me of spring.

I truly love this fragrance, and I must say it smells great on me. Every time I wear it my co-worker says how much she likes it. It's fresh, bright and the dry down is a beautiful musky floral. This lasts on my skin all day and I love it. This can be worn anytime of year and day or night. I keep a backup bottle of this at all times. I see it has a base note of coconut but I can't smell it at all and I'm so grateful. This is a really great office scent and a really good blind buy. I'm so glad that I can still find this at a really cheap price.

I already spent 2 bottles and this is my third bottle, I really really love the scent but unfortunately how many times I put it on my body, it really didn't last long.. I wear it because the scent that burst out at first spray, but I cant smell it afterwards like 1 hour later.. and I just want to say, I don't like the new bottle version. I prefer the exclusivity in the first edition, with the acrylic box and the flower ribbon

I've had this perfume for a while and forgot about it. On one of the first warm days of the year, I picked it up and was amazed at how much I liked it. It's fresh and green, with an almost aquatic feel, while still remaining feminine. I definitely get a bit of green tea, and the dry down stays lovely for several hours. It's a great spring fragrance.

I had a bottle of this and everytime someone would asked me about the name of the perfume. Its light and wild simultanously.

Cheap but pretty. Not anything amazing. Boiled down simple? It's a green-soapy scent. Very properly named with the "vert" in it. It's outdoorsy, fresh, green, and clean. I wore it to work this week (in December so it's cold weather)...and I tend to find that soapy fragrances work well in fall and winter even though many would consider this a spring / summer perfume i'm sure. Anyway I actually got two compliments. My co worker who sits right next to me said "that smells really good. Like...REALLY good." So it's definitely a pretty scent. Nothing to go crazy over but for the price, it's most definitely worth the purchase and in my opinion, it's the perfect work scent because it smells clean and projects 2 feet or so but won't choke anybody out. Longevity - About 4 hours. 5 if you overspray. Projection - About 2 feet. Perfect for the office. Overall Score - 8/10. This is the first I've tried out of the 3. Going to get the original Wildbloom and the Rouge versions soon! But this is definitely blind-buy safe! It's pretty and soapy without smelling too sharp. Thumbs up Banana Republic!

I was at TJ Maxx and saw a small bottle of this for ten bucks. As fresh scents are my go-to in the summer and this passed the fragrantica review test, I decided to try it. I like it, but I'm afraid it's a bit generic. I get a lot of greeny floral notes on first application, and I can understand why it would be called aquatic, as well. What I do not understand is where the coconut is. Perhaps it's simply my chemistry, but that note is nowhere to be found. I'm also getting a lot of magnolia, but not much gardenia - which, viewing the voted on notes, seems to differ from popular opinion. On the dry down it becomes warm, green, and a little bitter, similar to the dry down of Royal Apothic's Hothouse Peony, which I love. This, however, is much less strong and has a little less individuality and assertiveness. All in all, a pleasant, fresh fragrance for a hot summer day, and a safe blind buy, but if you're looking for a signature scent or something that will stand out from the crowd, this is not it. As far as fragrances of this type go, I much prefer Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. 4/10

Right after I first sprayed this, I immediately started putting it back in the box to return. It came off strong, loud and super screechy! However, it dries down VERY differently and especially, on skin. After dry down, it becomes very soft and more fruity but still maintains a fresh and clean vibe. After 20 minutes, I can smell light musk, pear, and a little magnolia with a very slight woodiness. I do not really get the coconut which I find a tad unfortunate but not a deal breaker. This does not project much and I suspect that longevity on skin won't be great. Aside from the opening, I think a lot of people would like this one for the day time in warmer months. All in all, it is really pretty and uplifting.

Very classic, occasionally boring. The kind of perfume I'd imagine on a mid-twenties woman who is visiting the farmer's market. Daytime and spring dominant. Gets a little screechy if you over spray even once, but that settles soon enough. Great value for such a fresh, fruity, green, shampoo style fragrance. That being said, some of the whiffs I got in the first hour leaned melon in their scent. Melons are not to my taste, so the fleeting smell mildly bothered me.

This is fruity without being too sweet, but is instead refreshing and the pear has an almost citrus accord to it. The the fresh violet leaves come in, with a creamy white floral. The dry down is a faint skin musk, the only real drawback is the dry down is a bit dull. Otherwise its lovely for someone looking for a non-citrus fruit scent that is still fresh, not cloying.

This is exactly what it claims to be: a fruity green fragrance. No surprises here, modest performance and work safe. Yes, it's generic. It's also wearable for men or women and def. work safe. I like BR frags and WV is a nice addition to my collection.

Pretty green fragrance. Think green tea, green melon, green apple. Fresh and acidic. Love the bottle and the silk flower attached. I got it for $7 at Marshall's, otherwise I would have passed. It feels more like a daytime and summertime fragrance.

I love the initial spray, its perfect for Spring as suggested but the dry down seems quite sour which sadly ruins it for me :(

Just honestly forgettable and boring. If you want green apple, buy DKNY. I truly love so many BR fragrances. Some of my absolute favorites. But not this one. I just don’t ever use it. I don’t hate it, but I don’t want to use it either.

Sweet fruity notes and green notes don't mix together in my book. Not really the same but it does remind me a bit of JM's Bluebell. Sharp and cloying.

Wildbloom Vert opens with a lightly soapy aldehyde marine note of the violet leaves that is laced with some very crisp apple and a hint of what might be pear. The blooms come in but are on a breeze of a storm coming in, never feeling fully sweet, but filled with the earthy charge of oncoming grey clouds. The marine wind stirs up some earthy wood when the blooms spend out, thankfully cool and not swampy, keeping your white linen summer clothes looking perfectly pressed. Wildbloom Vert is mostly that marine aldehyde with not much voice from anything else. Definitely clean and fools you into feeling you are on a cool breeze, a definite plus in the heat. You will not be a flowery or fruity goddess at the beach, unless your deodorant is playing that role but that's another kind of cool and clean. Wildbloom Vert should be very office safe, no more offensive than if you had used Dove soap, and the bottle is equally clean but feminine. I don't think this is a keeper for me, as it's very similar to my Cabotine Eau Vivide. Safe choice for a blind buy for a blind buy in this category for summer if a like it will match your expectations for what you paid.

I find it to have a strong soapy factor at the beginning with a strong white floral presence. Then it settles down to a luscious green and aquatic lotus-like flower. I don't think I get coconut. It lacks a real fruity edge but instead it's dominated by green and aromatic quality of clean floral accord. In conclusion, I think Wildbloom Vert is not as fruity and fun as the original Wildbloom, but, it feels more sophisticated. Whichever your prefer, they both are still solid choice from Banana Republic.

Kind of a generic green fruity-floral. Run-of-the-mill, but still smells good, in a Cabotine "Lite" sort of way. There is a sweet pear accord, like a whiff of fruit salad in a can. Then I get a rather nice fresh floral with peony and magnolia. To its credit, WV doesn't get overly sweet or candied, and the freshness is fairly restrained and not intensely synthetic. But I wind up with a generic cloud of pastel pink around me in the end. Nice, somewhat feminine, but not particularly memorable.

I love green florals and the fruit in this one is subtle and doesn't dominate---it's fresh and cleans and summery---my only complaint is that it just doesn't last on me!
