Outlaw

I tried several barre scents today and fell in love with outlaw from beginning to end. It opened up with tobacco and cedar however the tobacco wasn't nauseatingly powerful as most tobacco I've experienced. It quickly dissipates within an hour and settles into its leather notes then transforms into a floral but not powdery sweet grass scent that I adore. It takes you on an adventure of the gender spectrum within scent. In my opinion it settles very feminine. I adore this scent and love it as it evolves how I do upon meeting and connecting with someone. It is if brokeback mountain was a smell.

I hate cigarettes so the photorealistic cig opening was pretty nasty to me. But let time pass and the cigarette smell will be completely gone, leaving behind something intensely sweet, leathery, and slightly green. I dunno how to describe it but this is literally a gay cowboy scent. It smells like an older man who has wandered the prairies for years. He's got deep crow's feet from squinting at the sun all the time. His horse is weathered as he is but that doesn't mean he ain't capable of loving you gently and slowly. He'll treat you like the only honeysuckle vine in this world.

my first ever barre fragrance – what a debut!! cannot wait to finish sampling the rest of the discovery set, but even if this was the only hit i would Not complain one bit... this knocked my socks off whew!!! initial blast: SAUERKRAUT dry down: sooooo sexy... it's like an attractive older man takes you out to breakfast at the diner (he has horses, don't ask), the inside of a pencil bag, and a cold & lonely night in the woodworking shop all at once. love her bad

Sweet honeysuckle with creamy tobacco notes reminiscent of a santalwood scent. Bonnie and Clyde on the run, Orville Peck frolicking in a field, Ron Swanson woodworking. True unisex scent, light and fresh with a hot, earthy and rebellious undertones. Love it!

Oh man, does this fragrance make me feel like a million bucks. As a gay man that delves more in the enjoyment of things feminine, wearing Outlaw briefly brings my masculine Cowboy fantasy-self to life. So fun to wear and lassos a ton of compliments. Yee-haw!

Like a leather workshop in Flagstaff AZ, neither too masculine nor overbearing. Perfectly unisex, well-balanced, rugged and homey.

This smells like a TikTok edit of Brokeback Mountain with Calico Critters: green, dewy morning, strong coffee and velvet. So good

YES very grass, very petrichor, coffee, leather, sticky tree sap. Love

Opens (on me at least) with a sweet, moist, fresh tobacco. I actually do get a hint of honeysuckle, and I can actually smell this scent on me. After 30 minutes- OK this is actually gorgeous, but there's a lot of floral going on with the tobacco. 1 hour - Floral coming more to the fore, tobacco fading. Perfume still strong. 2 hours - I swear I even got a hint of leather at one point! This has staying power. It's really nice. A bit too white floral for me personally, but it does smell actually floral and not soapy at all. 3 hours - fading now. Still white floral but starting to get a slight hint of Savlon. Still overall airy and pleasant. On cloth - decent longevity, powdery white floral. The nicest white floral I've ever smelled, but still not really my thing. A very nice scent though.

it's very dirty and woody at first spritz - cedar and tobacco and leather to me, mostly. as it's dried, the grass and honeysuckle is here (but not exactly honeysuckle so much as floral). it also smells for a second like a broken flower stem but that's gone. Seems to settle between vegetal and woody.

upon first spray it smells like a beautiful man just got done smoking a cigarette while mowing the lawn. the dry down feels like a pretty standard floral-leaning woody cologne. i don’t necessarily want to smell like this but i would love if i pressed my face into someone’s neck and got a whiff

I assumed this was Overcast at first.... it smells like the air before a summer storm

i got the original as a sample and looved it. it was green, fresh, leathery, animalic, and a touch floral and sweet. it reminded me of moss by commodity but a little more tame. i ordered a full bottle and got a reformulated version. the current one is lighter and more fresh. the leather accords aren't as present and doesn't feel as warm and sexy. wish i got the original! i got this along with salty rose, money, cult and creep. I would say the original outlaw is the best one, as it was a little more complex than the others. Overall, i think they are good layering perfume.

I really like this but it's very strong. Less is more. It does smell like dating an older man, in the best way. It's a very comforting, smoky, leathery scent. Would be nice to wear for a date.

Really potent stench of honeysuckle perfume sprayed directly into an ashtray at grandma's house. Maybe I got a bad batch, but everywhere I went after testing this people asked if I could smell something weird sweet and burnt (that something was Outlaw)

Unfortunatly an average perfume. Like someone plugged "man scent" into an algorithm and it produced this. I smell FAINT tobaccoo and thats all. I love many of Barre's other perfumes though!! This ones just not for me.

EXTREMELY tobacco - forward note at first spray. If you've ever visited one of those cigar shops where they have all kinds of cigars and tobacco, and one of those humidity-controlled rooms where they keep the expensive cigars, this is what that smells like. There is a green note, it is slightly bitter, reminds me of a bitter shrub that I know I've crushed between my fingers and smelled, but I can't put my name on what kind. The green note doesn't last when it dries down, and it doesn't compare to the strength of the tobacco note. There is a leather essence as well that lingers with the tobacco, especially when it's dried down. Overall, this scent genuinely reminds me of an older man, like another reviewer stated. There is also an underlying powdery, soapy echo (reminiscent of the one in overcast) but it is not strong enough to make this perfume unpleasant for me.
